New Future’s mission of, «partnering with families to create communities where children thrive» is one that I personally really believe in. The way that NF’s does this is really special and is a national model!
NF’s leases apartment units in low-​income complexes and provides programming for kids/​families. Currently NF’s focuses in SKC — where the need is greatest. They provide enrichment activities, homework help, citizenship classes, English classes, programming during school breaks, and much much more.
They are also available to help train other non-​profits in working with people living in poverty. I’ve been to several of their trainings and have always found them enjoyable and useful!
