Olson Randy, DDS

I have known Randy since little league baseball when he struck me out ever time I was a bat. His curve ball has always been un-​hitable.
As a dentist he is top notch, same precision and care as when he is on the mound… and his staff, gems like Patti, make it so nice to be in their care for dental issues.
He is a pro at every position. but he always shot to much playing basketball, but confidence he has always had!

I have been going to Dr. Olson for a long time and have always received great care from him and his team. I have a very busy schedule so the fact that they can complete a crown in one visit is awesome.

I chose this dentist because my old dentist retired and Olson took my insurance. The office is very clean and the people are friendly.
The reason I’m giving this dental office a one-​star rating is because I think they have an extremely pushy sales policy. My husband went to them once (he didn’t see Olson, he saw another associate in the office) for a regular cleaning, and they mentioned deep cleaning. He said he didn’t want it, and made an appt for his next regular cleaning. Yet when he arrived for the regular cleaning, they had already scheduled him in for the deep cleaning without even telling him! He went along with it, but then they gave him a long list of procedures that they wanted to do to him, half of which they hadn’t even mentioned to him.
When I went in the next week, the dentist literally cringed when looking at my teeth, and tried to sell me some cosmetic procedures, all of which I said no to. He then told me that I needed very expensive periodontal surgical work. I told him no, but when I went up to the counter to make an appt for my next cleaning, they told me I was going to get the procedure as though I had said yes! I said no again, and left it at that. I know they don’t do the periodontal work there, so I don’t understand why they were so strongly pushing it. Then a week later they called me at home to tell me that I hadn’t made an appt yet for the procedure. Excuse me, can’t you take no for an answer? I found this extremely disturbing. Even if I need some work done, I like my dentist to respect my wishes and not push things on me that I don’t want. Also, the hygienist was very nice but I don’t think she polished my upper teeth because they were still really stained when I got out. She really emphasized how poor my gums looked, even though I had never had any problems with my teeth or gums before
They have called my husband at work twice to try to get him to make appointments for the procedures that they wanted to do to him.
I have subsequently gone to another dentist who did NOT even mention the periodontal surgery, and told me that my teeth and gums look great. So I can NOT recommend this dentist to anyone.
