This place was great. We had a 6pc nugget with fries, a bacon cheeseburger, a havarti burger and an order of battered mushrooms. All of the burgers come with fries and on an onion roll. The mushrooms were amazing and completely popped in your mouth which I long for. They had both fountain and bottled drinks. The also served teriyaki style meals. All of our food came out piping hot, after about a 7 – 10 minute wait. It was WELL worth the wait. It is a dive joint, stained old seating, bad wallpaper, but AMAZING food! My lost star is because she charged me $ 44. I added it up and should have paid $ 33. I had to figure it out for her to correct. It seemed as an honest mistake.

Awesome food! Both the burgers and Chinese dishes are delicious. The burgers are charbroiled and the fries are always hot and crispy. All of the Chinese dishes we have tried are very tasty.

After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to stop and get a hamburger. I peeked inside and decided to take the chance. The inside of the restaurant is very old and the furniture looked a little gross. My «combo» meal was $ 7.99 before tax and the fries you can tell were frozen. The hamburger tasted fine, but it wasn’t very large. I decided to sit on the furniture in spite of it being dirty, and though to myself, «not bad, not great. Overpriced but the food isn’t gross.» THEN I look over and saw a part of the kitchen covered by semi open blinds. The lady was chopping vegetables with a knife and scraping the remaining food from the knife onto the garbage. She didn’t tap it into the garbage, but literally placed the knife on the inside of the garbage and scraped it to «clean it». I now have stopped eating my food and considering the cleanliness of their cooking. Save your money and go eat at Red Robin for cheaper, knowing the safety laws are being enacted

Not as good as the pictures. Burger had odd frozen meat flavor. Fries were right out of the big frozen bag of generic fries.

we were on our way to run some errands when we realized we were hungry. thanks to Unilocal,we saw that this burger joint was right around the corner from us. i am so glad Unilocal exists! so this place is in a little strip mall. right when you walk in, you notice that there is a lot of space in the restaurant. it looks like an old school italian restaurant with the red carpeting and the weird tufted booths. we took a quick look at the menu and saw that it was also indeed a chinese fast food place. my boyfriend ordered general tao’s chicken and i ordered a regular hamburger. the chicken came with 2 scoops of white rice and my burger came with a side of fries. it took a few minutes for the food to come out, which was fine because its actually because they make it fresh when you order it. my boyfriends chicken had such great flavor to it. it was nice and crunchy and the sauce was sweet, salty, and spicy. my burger was amazing. it was cooked medium well and still juicy. it was served on an onion bun. the fries were a little whimpy looking, but they were not bad. i totally recommend this place to anyone in the area and looking for a simple burger or a quick chinese fix.

I’m a fan of Asian food + burger joints, but almost always opt for the Asian. The beef teriyaki was the textbook version, which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just the same plate of two scoops of white rice, lettuce with the tangy dressing, and shredded beef with sauce. The sauce was good and not too runny. The food arrived a bit slower than other teriyaki places, but there were a few people before me in line. There are lots of seats inside and the location right downtown is convenient.

Overpriced. $ 8 for a frozen burger patty, fast food bacon with overdone fries. Step up that bacon and u have a chance. maybe a $ 4 burger by itself? That’s all i really wanted to try without dropping $ 10 on 3 star food. Maybe the stir fry is good… Nice people, good service, clean place. Too many«but’s» tho…

Ugh! It’s so disappointing trying to find a good burger for a good price. This is another«burger and Chinese food» places that seem to be really popular here in the Seattle area. Where are the good burger joints people? Sheesh!

Burger tasted frozen. They have more asian items on the menu. It should be called Paul’s asian restaurant and we have a burger. Not good. Don’t come here for burgers. That being said. They had great service and maybe their asian menu items are good.

Always have loved this dive style burger place for a good bacon cheeseburger and fries to go with. I do recommend giving this place a try if in the area and in the mood for some greasy style burger and fries grub.

Came here with my wife and managed to spend $ 38 for dinner. Guess I went a little overboard for a burger place. We had the fried mushrooms which were pretty good. Not the best I’ve had but serviceable. The burgers were classic, nothing to fancy but better than most other burger shops. I was let down by the Chinese food. We ordered almond chicken that tasted like pure salt. For an Asian family running this place it was bad. I would take it off the menu. Its like soy sauce chicken with almonds on top. No gravy literally a pure salt taste. That about sums it up, I’d come back for the burgers. I’ll leave the Chinese food to a Chinese restaurant.

Sometimes I think I romanticize how great things used to taste when I was a kid, since most things don’t taste so great now that I’m much older. Then I went to Paul’s. Holy. Stinkin. Cow.(no pun intended on the whole cow/burger thing) I started with the Havarti burger, and my taste buds were immediately resurrected from their flavor purgatory. My mouth sent me on a time warp back to my childhood when burgers char broiled over an open flame were my absolute heaven-sent favorite. I don’t ever cry(mostly because I’m a man), but this burger practically had me in tears. The fries were only so-so, but WHOCARES! It’s not Paul’s French Fry Joint – it’s Paul’s Burger Joint. And as far as I’m concerned, I’ve died and gone to burger heaven!

Hidden Treasure! You wouldn’t know it by looking at it, but the food was amazing! The establishment was clean and the service was fast. They offer Japanese food, Chinese Wok, burgers and fish n’ chips. Our party had burgers and something from the wok and it was all really flavorful and not too expensive. Definitely bringing my foodie relatives in when they come to visit! No kid’s menu.

Ordered two burgers, the special and the mushroom, along with eggrolls and fried mushrooms. Eggrolls were ok, mushrooms were good, burgers were average at best. Prices are a bit high for what was only an average experience and with the order being partially wrong. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but if you’re nearby you could do worse.

Recommeded to this place by Darren S. this place was completely unassuming and rocked my socks off! Went in with low expectations since a friend of mine owns their own burger joint that also offers asian(korean) food. Their portions are massive and they treat you well. I would assume that this place would have a line trailing outside during lunch, but I can see that its hard being a burger place in a seafood town. Reminds me of Bob’s Burgers. Highly recommend this place to any patrons needing to get away from your typical fast food place. Thanks again to Darren S. for the rec! Been there twice in 2 days. Probably be back for lunch tomorrow!

I had come here on a hunch from what other co workers were telling me. They hit the nail on the head on this one. A secret gem in Burien. I assume it was family owned and it showed with the service and quality of food they provided. I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu, but the cook was more than happy to make it. It was a BBQ bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, or as most would call it, a western bacon cheeseburger. He was thrilled to make it and even said he would add it on the menu soon. The first bite I was amazed. I come from So Cal so we are spoiled with burger joints and In n Out. This was way better than expected. The fries were crispy hot and wonderful. It was a tad pricey for what I was getting, but well worth the extra buck or two. They are also a teriyaki house, so I fully intend to stop by and grab a dish before I head out of town. Nam P. has no clue.

I judge a good burger place by how I «feel» after I eat the burger. I don’t mean«feel» in a psychological sense; I mean«feel» as in my physiological reaction to eating the burger. After eating a Mushroom Burger and small curly fry here I felt… great. I’ve also had the California Burger, Bacon Burger, and Havarti Burger here — all good. They are not serving up gut-bombs at Paul’s Burger Joint – just tasty, greasy enough(but not too greasy) grub.

Seems Paul’s has been around forever and the reason why he puts out a quality product I’ve eaten here many times and each time it’s always a good and downright delicious. It’s not fancy it’s just a good place to go in grab a burger and enjoy the rest your day
