I came in around 10pm, a time that most phở places close. The bar tender was very nice and the Viet lady once again smiles big. Both of these workers knew good customer service. It might not be everyone’s favorite setting to eat phở at. But I’m all about the broth and good positive vibes. Phở liu offered just that. I only wish the broth came out super hot. I can take the heat! Y

Got stuck at a car dealership out in Burien so my friend and I went in search of food. We Unilocaled around and found this gem of a place. Cozy interior and quick service. The owner(I think) came up to us and had an interesting and wonderful conversation with us about traveling. It was such an enjoyable experience, and(especially for the price) it was definitely the best phở I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to find another reason to go to Burien!

I was in desperate need for some late night phở to cure my extreme level of ails. Unfortunately almost every place I searched for was closed… except here, which is apparently open SUPER late. Well, what do you know… I just happened to find my 4th-ever 5-star phở place. It’s kinda hard for me to determine exactly what gets a phở spot to 5 stars. At minimum, the broth has to be very flavorful(check), the noodles are solid(check), and they pour on the meat(check!). Their large bowl is fairly inexpensive and REALLY large. By the time I was done with everything, I felt like I was about to give birth to a food baby. And love the quick service, as to be expected by any competent phở place. So…looked for a decent phở place to save myself, ended up finding 5-star #4. Just as planned. :P

I like this place. Food is good and reasonable size. That was takeout. But service sucks dining in unless you’re at the bar. There I said it. Service just plain sucks. We waited 5 minutes just to get seated, another 10 just to get out order in, food came out on time so I guess there’s that. But not once did someone come to see how we’re doing or to get a refill on our drinks. Guess it’s only take out from here only.

I ordered phõ and fried spring roll. They came quickly… Really quick. Meat in my phõ was really great, but noodles were raw, hard. Spring roll is just one per plate, small and expensive.

Super friendly and great food. My favorite place to get Phở and Banh mi. Also the shrimp egg rolls and chicken katsu are really good in my opinion. Bar on one side and restaurant on the other.

A rare 5 star review from the Phở King guy, but how often do you see a totally empty bowl at a phở joint? Great broth, plentiful meat, just some damn tasty phở. Phở King McKeever recommends this place highly!

I think a whole bunch of staff called in sick when I visited because the place was in need of serious cleaning. Food stuck to the seats and plates that were sitting all over the place. This sight definitely made it hard to think about sitting down and enjoying a meal. I ordered the seafood phở and was very surprised at how flavorful the meal was. Plenty of seafood and great seasoning in the soup. I do wish the waiter was more attentive as it was no where near busy. The food was great but they need to make sure they remember that a clean atmosphere is just as important as good food.

Went for the beef stew on a cold & rainy day. It’s a typical Vietnamese soup/stew. It’s on their menu posted on Unilocal. It’s on their menu at the restaurant. They don’t serve it anymore… Phở was fine. Good amount of meat. Broth was oily. Noodles as expected. Too bad they don’t have the stew. Plenty of other phở restaurants around here to choose from…

This is always my go-to spot for phở in Burien. They’re always generous with their portions and give plenty of noodles and meat. The broth is consistent and never too watered down in flavor. Their veggie platter that comes with the phở always has the freshest bean sprouts, basil and lime. There is probably nothing more disappointing than a bad noodle-meat-broth ratio or brown basil when it comes to phở, like you often get at chain restaurants. But never have I had an issue with Phở Liu. So much love for this local joint! Service here has always been great; the owners of this place really take initiative in getting to know their customers and getting feedback to improve their business. They also have a bar area with TVs if you want to watch the game or drink while you eat.

We ordered phở and the portion size is pretty large. The price is cheap too. They have free wifi here, and the server/owner is nice! The only one thing is this place is connected to a bar so it can get pretty loud at night.

I only got phở to go here. But it was a great experience. I was greeted when I walked in. After ordering I was told to have a seat and offered water. I don’t think I have ever been offered water when doing take out! This is a very unique phở restaurant. It is also a lounge/bar. And it was a huge bar area from what I could see. They had lots of dart boards, and an electric bar game. The restaurant are was clean and looked a lot like all other phở places. Now on to the phở. It was good, probably would of been better if had eaten there. They have two sizes, small and large. Also have a pretty decent menu with other things besides just phở.

Amazing bun, gyoza, and iced coffee. Added bonus is you can sit in the bar and eat. Great people watching and we even got a chance to watch the final game of the World Cup and see the staff get super animated every time a goal was almost made. This is officially my new go to place for Vietnamese.

I absolutely love this place! The phở is consistently on point with an amazingly rich, yet not greasy. The grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich is the best I’ve had in Seattle. The bread is perfectly crusty, generous portion of tasty pork, lots of carrot salad and cilantro. In addition to the great food, you have the option to sit in the bar area. The drinks are strong, they have an excellent dart area and the full menu is available. Besides the food, I always enjoy coming in because of Jimmy(owner, I believe). He is always smiling and makes a point to acknowledge all of his customers.

This place is definitely my new go-to place for phở. I feel that it is cheaper than some other phở places that I have gone to. About every single time that I come here, the food has been consistent and delicious. I LOVE that they have the chili oil sauce here, definitely my favorite thing to put in my phở. There has only been one time where my phở wasn’t exactly as hot as it usually is, so my steak didn’t cook completely and the broth turned cold pretty quickly. It was a first, so I just brushed my shoulder off and finished my bowl. One thing I do hope is done more is really rinsing out the cups. I think it’s been twice now that my partner and I’s cups of water has tasted and smelt like soap. With that said, we now always order drinks to go with our meal. He normally gets taro bubble tea and I get the blended avocado drink. Both are really good and have the same consistency each and every time. I also really like the bar area in the back, it’s always so lively and there are always people back there. Lots of laughter and conversations; makes good business with having repeating customers and they’re known by name. The owners are really nice and they always have positive attitudes. Would definitely recommend!

When: Sunday late-night, 9:15PM Group Size: 2(for take-out) Total Bill: $ 19something(not including tip) Experience in one word: «Legit!» My boyfriend and I love Asian food. We are from Hawaii(Honolulu) and there are a LOT of places to get really great Asian cuisine since Hawaii is known as a «melting pot» of many cultures. So when we come to the mainland, we often struggle to get our Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese food cravings satisfied. It’s late fall in Seattle and I was freezing my butt off in the 50degree weather, so my boyfriend’s suggestion for phở sounded amazing! Not many reviews in general for phở in SeaTac so we based our decision off the pics Unilocalers have posted. That’s when we found Phở Liu. It’s getting late and we hate being those people who walk in late so we decide to call in a takeout order and they’re super nice on the phone. Very informative and helpful! We ordered spring rolls. These were huuuuuge! They were very hearty, filled with veggies and pork and had a crispy crunchy outside. I don’t like when spring rolls are soggy and these were perfect! It came with fish sauce to dip in which was also on point. We also got two large orders of phở. Since we ordered it for take-out, I want to point out they did a great job of packing everything to keep it fresh. The phở came with… ~ Traditional phở noodles ~ TONS of raw steak(thank goodness it was raw! I don’t like when it’s already cooked) ~ Raw onions ~ Fresh basil leaves ~ Fresh cut limes ~ Fresh cut jalapenos ~ Bean sprouts ~ Lots of sriracha and hoisin sauce ~ The super hot phở broth(when we got back to our hotel it was still very hot and cooked the raw meat easily) Portion size was huge! I couldn’t finish mine and the fact that my boyfriend couldn’t finish the rest… that definitely says something! Such a good value. Everything was so fresh and they made sure to have all the key ingredients for phở! It seems silly to be so appreciative of these things, but you don’t know how many phở places on the mainland don’t give you the limes or the basil leaves and it just doesn’t taste the same without it. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in is that they only give you the raw steak. We were hoping for beef balls, tripe, and the works, but it just came with the steak. However, it was a huge portion of raw steak and overall a really great phở. This was the most legit phở place we’ve been to in Washington state so far. Definitely go check them out! They serve dinner till 10pm and I think they’re open as a bar/lounge after till 2am.
