I wouldn’t call this place a hole in the wall, but rather a hole inside a grocery mart! Honestly if it weren’t for the Unilocal app that showed this place on the map, I would have never found it, let alone try it. But I’m really glad I did! The food was super authentic and delicious. Portions were so generous, and I couldn’t believe tacos were only $ 1.50 each! Plus, the cashier/cook was so very sweet. By no means is this a place where you’d come for date night, but if you’re in the mood for solid and cheap Mexican food– great place to try!

Real Mexican food in the north west made for Mexicans. Brush up on your Spanish and get in here! Food is great and you can’t beat the atmosphere, Mexican market with soccer on. Grab some tortillas for home!

I am totally amazed and bewildered that this Taqueria has no reviews yet. It is without a doubt the most legit Mexican food in all of Burien, and Burien has some of the best Mexican food in Seattle. The Taqueria is actually embedded in a Mexican market called La Canasta on Ambaum, but its delicious fragrances drew me from all the way across the street. When you go inside there are pictures you can order from, I went with the chicken Mole which was spicy, savory, and delicious. I have probably tried 25 different molès between living in San Francisco and living in Seattle and this was one of the top dishes I have tried. It came with handmade tortillas which were amazing and they have both green and red salsa in squirt bottles you can pull out of the drink refrigerator. Legit spicy salsa too, yum. This place has everything I love about authentic Mexican taquerias. Everyone that eats there is Mexican, all of the chefs are Mexican, the cashier is Mexican: if you speak Spanish you are VIP. They also have pork adovada which my boyfriend was delighted to find in the Seattle area. It’s a southwestern style pork, very spicy and delicious. You can get it on tacos and probably on whatever else you’d like it on. I hope to retire at this Mexican place and eat every dish it serves indefinitely. I hope you will give it a chance if you’re looking for an authentic Mexican taco, caldo de mares, pozole, or Menudo. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Amazing. Six stars.
