This Mexican food gem recently closed its doors. I am very sad. :(

I had already sat down before it dawned on me to check Unilocal! How blond can I be? Anyway, I was only in the neighborhood to get tires for my car. I thought eating lunch would be a good way to pass the time whilst I waited. My friend and I ordered. He got the Large Combo #3 which had a chile relleno, an enchilada, and taco(also with refried beans and rice) and a Dos Equis. I got the Large Combo #1 which had 2 large burritos(default=pork but I chose chicken)(also with refried beans and rice) and an iced tea(I was driving, dammit). The food was really good; the chicken was shredded or pulled and so tender! The beans were cooked perfectly and the rice as well. The lady whom took care of us was very friendly and attentive with the chips, salsa, water, and iced tea. The grant total came in just over $ 26.00 including taxes. The restaurant was clean but not fancy. What you would expect with reference to Mexico, Spain, and other countries with large Spanish speaking populations(posters et al). The music was nice but not too loud; the TV is easy to see depending on where you sit. There are 6 booths(3 on each side with 2 sets of tables in the middle). A nice sorta hole-in-the-wall in Burien about 6 blocks north of Sushi Maki(7 blocks north of Trader Joe’s), located in the Fred Meyer Shopping Center(all on the right side of 1st Av S as you go north(across SR518). I would rate this 4.5 stars but I do not have that option.
