Duck. Noodle. Soup. It is very very good. I ordered delivery and it came steamy hot with an order of spring rolls. This soup has a great garlicky and salty taste with ample amounts of duck meat to fill you up. The duck noodle soup will not disappoint. The delivery was fast too.

I just have to sadly report that this place has new ownership. The spicy soup noodle is gone. Literally the greatest soup on the planet is no longer available. There is no one that knows the recipe or where to get it. The new owners are very nice and this place still has many good options. Just don’t go expecting to try Spicy Soup Noodle. You will be missed.

Now this place is under new management. There are more special dishes that you should really ask about. We love all the dishes that we ordered for dinner today. — Kao Mun Gai — Duck Egg Noodle Soup — Phad See Iew We will be back for sure to try more of their special dishes. — SomTum — Guoy Jub — Kao KaMoo — Nam Kao Tod And also thinking about calling in to ask(ahead of time) for a few of my favorite dishes, such as — Spicy catfish We will be back for sure.

I called in a 9:30pm order on a Saturday for a chicken Phad Kee Mao and I got a COLD take out of sticky rice, bamboo shoots, and burned 2 pieces of beef. Lesson learned, never order from this Thai spot… EVER. If I could shut your place down for weak listening skills/customer service I would

*** New Ownership*** The pad thai is still very, very good. And large portions — so you get a good value. I always liked this place under the previous ownership. Now the new ownership seems to picking up where the old place left off. Also, the previous owners were not always consistent with regard to quality and hours of operation — so the new ownership has an opportunity there as well. Overall, the food is great and I’m looking forward to coming here and trying other items on the menu.(note: to the reviewers who said the pad thai is «too fishy» — if you are used to ketchupy American style Pad Thai you might be disappointed. This pad thai seems authentic). Check this place out — give it a chance because Burien needs more than just one Thai restaurant.

I have to agree with you Nan C. I used to come hear at least once a week because I work down the street. Well unfortunately i won’t be anymore:(. The new owners changed the entire recipe of the Phad Thai and it is not good. It is super bland and tastes wayyyy to fishy. I had a few bites but then threw it out. Sad to say though since i used to love coming here for lunch.

I like this place! As I always tell people my always number one Thai place is YumYum in Shoreline… I think they got a competitor now! Outlook & Interior: Nice restaurant outlook and big sign outside. We knew we came to a good place just by seeing the place. And inside interior is nice! Very nice layout with some cool huge lantern hanging from the ceiling. Really comfortable and welcoming. Food: OMG! I had a beef noodles soup and it’s outstanding! I have never had something like that. It is like Phở(with the phở noodles and mint leaves) but very beefy! Strong thick beef stock and lots of beef in it. It is SOGOOD! My hubby ordered Pad Kee Mao as always… the flavor is great and it is really flavorful. Some Thai restaurants made it really soy sauce-y and you are only tasting that with the noodles. But this one is def not just that! They made it with other spices and took their heart on it! It is really good. But if the noodles is not as soft it would be a A+. My sister ordered a coconut curry w sticky rice, which is again, really good. I give 6+ stars for the food if I could! Service: The server is nice and I think he is the owner or manager of the restaurant. He is nice and patient. It took us some time to actually finish our order but he was nice to us till the end. Overall: I looooveee this place! I know I know… I said YumYum is the best and I think it is still the best in my heart(loyal issue) BUT, I will be going to Thai’s Corner when I crave for Thai food now… since it’s closer to my home. :P(Sorry YumYum) I love their food and the environment. Everything is great I can’t deny it. 100% Recommended!

Just went there for lunch… looks like they changed the chef and entire waitstaff there. Apparently the waitstaff all moved to a sister restaurant up north and the chef went to Thailand. Don’t think he’s coming back … My coworker and I ordered the Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai. We had our fingers crossed that it would, at the very least, taste the same since Thai’s Corner is our favorite lunch place. Unfortunately, our fears were realized. The Pad Kee Mao was noticeably more bland — just didn’t have the usual vibrant flavors. The Pad Thai, while decent compared to other Thai places, just wasn’t on par with what it used to be like. SOSAD. Bring back the old chef :(

So recently I wanted to try food around my area, I’ve always seen Thai’s corner. Its at a weird location. I would have to give this place a low 3 stars. The costumer service is not the best but it’s also not the worse. I’m not sure if it’s usually not busy but there were only a couple and us in the restaurant. We ordered the crab wonton, phad thai, and larb gai. The wonton were small and oily, definitely did not satisfy my cravings! The proportion for the phad thai was good. The flavoring was okay, noodles were kind of mushy. Larb gai was alright, you really cant mess it up, it’s simple but I had better. Overall this place was alright. I would come back just to try their noodle soups! They look delicious and I’m hoping they are.

I’ve gotten take out from here 3 times in the past 4 week. The food is DELICIOUS. We’ve tried the chicken pad Thai, ginger chicken, green & red curries. My hubby had the fresh rolls. I didn’t try since they put shrimp in them. We love it all. It has totally replaced our #1 Thai restaurant for the past 8 years. Seriously!

Don’t let the building fool you. It houses the most under appreciated Thai food in the Seattle area. The fried tofu appetizer was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and was accompanied by a delightful red sauce. I ordered the pineapple curry based on another Unilocal recommendation and it was very good, although the two star minimum was a bit hot for me. The pot of tea was delightful and the water refilled the pot without being asked. I will go there again.

Hidden gem! Great Phad Thai! Great Swimming Rama! Killer peanut sauce. Knowledgeable server. Quick service. Tad bit chilly. But space heater helped. We WILL be back.

I am giving them a 2 star for many reasons. 1. Worker was argumentative with me when I asked about pricing. 2. Their spring rolls are and absolute joke! $ 6.50 for 2 of the most pathetic excuse of a fresh spring roll I’ve ever had. 3. Shrimp looked old and their peanut sauce is basically peanut out of a jar! Disgusting!!! 4. Food is ok, not that great.

So of course I stopped by here since I love Thai food and plan on eating at all the Thai restaurants I this state. :p We were seated quickly, the place was fairly empty. We ordered pad Thai and a yellow curry. Our food came fast and we dug in. The food was a little bland looking, but smelled amazing! I loved the pad Thai, my friend didn’t love her curry as much since it is a more unique dish which you either love or hate. Overall good place, clean, fast service, good food.

I’ve tried this place a few times now. I’m just going to review the pad thai which is our families get together dish. We tried pad that just about everywhere… they all differ slightly, but this place gives huge portions of it. We order 2 and 4 of us eat. The taste is great and overall were always satisfied. Had it tonight and it was a great night again… as expected. I think most people might give this place a three, because it’s kind of middle of the road, but if you’re into pad Thai… it will do perfectly, Enjoy your food.

Pure Disappointment. I should have known when I went in to pick up our order and the restaurant only had one table of customers at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. Spring rolls: were burnt on the ends, and raw in the middle and dripping with grease. Pad Thai: we ordered 2 star and it was at least 3 or 4 stars. I’m not sure how they did it, but it was both flavorless and spicy at the same time. The only flavor was spicy. The tofu was was also bland, mushy and tasted like old oil. Fried Rice: Also super spicy, and tasted like nothing by burnt oil with lots of heat. Thai tea: good, not watery at all. Peanut Sauce(on the side): was ok, it was the sweet kind, not the spicy kind, which is what I normally like. We had been meaning to try this place for a while. With all the other amazing thai food in Seattle, I have to say we will never go back. We ended up throwing most of the food into the compost, and anyone who knows me knows I never throw food away.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s easy to miss – from the outside it looks like an old abandoned IHOP. But let me tell you, their food is AMAZING. We’ve stopped in a couple times now. The first time I ordered the Pad See Ew and the second time I got the«Garlic» entrée with beef and a side of the chicken noodle soup. The garlic stir fry comes with your choice of meat sauteed with loads of garlic, chilis, cracked peppercorns, broccoli, and carrot. Both times the dishes were extremely delicious. The Pad See Ew had just the right amount of sweetness, the beef in the garlic stir fry was very tender and the dish had the perfect amount of heat, and the chicken noodle soup had the richest flavored chicken broth I think I’ve ever had in a soup. You will absolutely not be disappointed with the food. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous. It really is deceiving because the outside looks pretty run down, but the inside has these rich looking, tall wooden chairs, beautiful traditional Thai art, stunning green and blue lantern-like lighting, and green and blue fabric draped around the windows. Both times when we went, the restaurant was pretty quiet. I honestly don’t know how this place isn’t packed on a regular basis. The service was very attentive, fast, and friendly. The gal helping us the last time we went was very prompt in taking our order, and even offered to box up our leftover food. She made our visit really pleasant. This place embodies the saying that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Both experiences here were wonderful and I cannot recommend Thai’s Corner enough.
