Trader Joe’s

MY TJ, s :) Great service & healthy yummy things to choose from — always!!! Where else can you pick up cageless eggs, organic everything, milk, cheeses & nuts galore… Vitamins, kitchen products (& the best chocolate around) — all under one roof!!!

One busy Trader Joe and I am guessing its because its located near Sea Tac. I am not sure if its short staffed or people just looks tired. Don’t get me wrong, the people here are really friendly. Its just that when you ask them a question they seems like they are going to drop on the ground as if they have worked for days without time off. Mind you this is Jan 3 that I came here. Not sure if all their staff are like partiers.
So they have everything all Trader Joe’s have. Good friendly service and everything looks fresh. Might not be too well stock. I came here at noon and there are a few shelves that looked empty. But its ok. Most of the stuff, I get here are not critical items.
So like I say, I am a fan of Trader Joe. I will definitely come back.
Lots of parking outside but the parking lot is quite full. I had to circle around for at least 15 mins before I got a parking. If you are in a rush, you might want to reconsider.
Another thing to note, this TJ is not located right off a highway. Its near like another 15 mins drive off the highway.

This was my second visit to a Trader Joe’s store, and first time at this particular store. It seemed a lot bigger than the one in Federal Way. I was surprised that a lot of people really do go here instead of just the Hagen (I think that’s the name) a couple feet down the lot. Anyways, it was a good experience, and a pretty good selection wines, and at a good price. Will be going back!

I feel lucky just to have a Trader Joe’s so close to home and work. I love shopping here and more importantly love the Trader Joe’s brand. Salsa, Potstickers, Chips, Tea. Everything with the Trader Joe’s name on it is worth buying. Usually at a great price too! Overall nothing to complain about here! Great place to stop. If you haven’t been to a Trader Joe’s you are missing out on an essential part of life.

Excellent products from all over the world with fantastic pricing. The produce isn’t always stellar but it’s much better than it used to be. My favorite part about this store is the staff — they’re always so friendly and helpful. This is by far, my favorite grocery store.

It’s a Trader Joes! You know exactly what you’re going to get and expect when you walk in. I love coming to their stores and will always be a repeat customer.

This seems like a great TJ’s. It’s actually bigger than the one in the hood that I moved from. :) The parking lot here was kind of a disaster! Beyond that, it’s everything you’d hope for a TJ’s.

I love Trader Joe’s, but the parking situation in this location is not ideal! It’s in a strip mall, and parking is not the most convenient. The Trader Joe’s is located in the right side, and if you are trying to enter from 160^th you have to change lanes into the lane that cars are exiting from the highway. It gets a little tricky. Overall, the Trader Joe’s never disappoints. The location and parking is why I gave it 3 Stars.

I broke my leg so getting around on crutches is a pain. Everyone is very helpful at this store and they are always smiling. Erin and Bonnie helped me check out and to my car. That was a huge help. Thank you!
They don’t have a huge selection of things, but what they do have is spot on. My new favorite thing is the «Popcorn in a Pickle». It’s just pickle flavored popcorn. I know, sounds gross. Trust me it is not.
I always enjoy going into that store.

Judging against other TJ’s, this location is a 4 because it’s always so full of people and the isles are more narrow than other locations. I absolutely love the ease of having this store be located right off the exit but then parking lot is crammed just like the store is. They do carry everything I love though!
So glad that when I moved there was another Trader Joe’s close by!

Trader Joe’s is a discount «neighborhood grocery store with amazing food and drink from around the globe and around the corner» taken from their website, sorry anyone would be hard pressed to write a better description.
However, that’s not the whole story, Trader Joe’s is not just an small upscale discount american supermarket, it’s actually the largest supermarket chain worldwide, parent company ALDI NORD (Albrecht Diskont) if you haven’t noticed, it’s german.
Hard not to love the large selection of organic food at moderate prices, think of it as a bargain Whole Foods, great place to shop if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or if you have any dietary restrictions.

I really wish there was a Trader Joe’s more convenient to where I live – if they ever opened one in Renton at The Landing in particular, I would be ecstatic.
This one in Burien is a bit out of the way but I was in the area since I had to go to the bank located nearby. It is a decent sized store with a variety of items. I especially like their prepared foods by the produce area. I wish they had a cooler section for non-​dairy drinks.
I love the frozen items that are made by Trader Joe’s (like the frozen macarons) and I do love their chocolate covered pomegranate seeds! The staff is really friendly too so that’s a plus. The only other thing that’s a bit weird are the checkout lanes – there’s no conveyer belt so the cashier has to wheel the cart to their side and take things out of the cart and bag things – I feel like it would be really bad for their backs, eventually.

HELLO! TRADER JOE’S!!! At first, I didn’t even know what Trader Joe’s was until my boyfriend’s grandmother kept telling me about how great the market was. I decided to pay a visit for the first time after I moved into my new apartment.
They have GREAT selection of juice because the juices aren’t sour!!! Please… choose the pineaple juice and other types of orange juice (banana, orange, and mango mix, for example). The chewy granola bars are to die for… My boyfriend can easily kill those baggies in 7 days if I buy for about 5 boxes (each box has 6 bars). The frozen food selection isn’t that either because they actually have some decent tastes to them!

Ok, I probably come here 2 – 3 times a week. After tonight, I probably won’t ever be back. I went in with my husband tonight to pick up a bottle of wine to help me get through my weekend of studying for nursing midterms. I didn’t bring my purse because my husband had his wallet. After spending 15+ minutes searching for a few decent bottles of wine, using my vivino app countless time to research and asking a worker for help, we were denied at the cash register when purchasing. It was because I didn’t have my ID. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. So if I had a 6 year old child with me while I’m doing my grocery shopping I couldn’t buy alcohol because I’m with a minor? I think these boys were young. Of course I get stuck to deal with the freakin’ Boy Scout at the register.
I don’t think I have been carded in years? I’m pretty sure my dark circles and fine lines give away my age. BUT REALLY, I get very upset when people waste my time. I rarely have any free time and when I do, I spend it catching up on sleep. So it really pissed me off. Especially since I have been to PCC, Safeway, Albertsons, CVS and whole foods (who are all way more strict) all throughout my life and have never been inconvenienced like this.
Also, their fruit and veggies are always moldy and old. sometimes their cheese is as well. It’s disgusting. One time I found an entire package of cheese first on the shelf and there wasn’t an area not covered in mold. I wish I had taken a picture because it was unbelievable. The manager was horrified when I showed him. If only Burien had nice grocery stores. I don’t have time to drive to west Seattle or Seward park. But I probably will now so I don’t have to deal with the children apparently working at TJ’s. They’re so paranoid they probably card 70 year olds too.

I hadn’t been to TJs in a while because I wasn’t interested in driving to any of the other locations. I thought Burien would be out of my way, but it isn’t any more of a drive than W. Seattle. This TJs is a winner. It has wide aisles, a large selection, a nice layout, & super people working the plentiful checkout stands. The best part though… the parking! Lots and lots and lots of it! And it’s easy to get in and out of the parking lot! My freezer is now appropriately stocked for the single-​gal life.

Every TJs I’ve been to has had a similar layout that’s easy to navigate, hot & fresh samples of food and coffee, friendly and fast service, fresh produce, and ample parking lot. This location is no different!
But what caught my eye recently that you might want to check out are:
–Cookies and Crème Cookie Butter
–Pumpkin Pie Mochi Ice Cream, Cheesecake, and pretty much anything else that could be made with pumpkin pie flavoring!

I hate grocery shopping, but I like to shop at the Burien Trader Joe’s. Maybe it is the employees who are always kind and helpful, maybe it’s the fun products, maybe it’s the short lines– who knows? This place is great!
First, I love the wine and beer selection here. I can always find some exciting stuff in very affordable price ranges. When I buy expensive wine, I buy from the winery itself, so I look for lower prices when I shop at a grocery store. Trader Joe’s keeps my attention in this area.
Second, the staff is great. I have always gotten excellent service and excellent attitude from every single employee I have ever encountered here. Also, when I ask where something is, the employees here don’t seem annoyed, and they seem genuinely happy to help me find that last jar of Cookie Butter (drool).
Third, the lines– how do they do this? I have never had a long, awful wait here. I can actually get in and out of the store quickly (did I mention this store is always clean). I really appreciate this when I need to do a quick grab and go for that last element of dinner, some booze for a party, or a special treat for hanging out.
Trader Joe’s– you rock!

I would rate two stars for this specific location due to its dingy, small, dirty ambience and lack of stocked shelves but it gets the extra star because they still sell (most of) the same yummy TJ’s stuff.
The lighting is dark, kinda scary and the staff are not rock stars like they are at my usual TJ’s.

This is my fav TJ’s because it’s closest to home and easy to find parking midday when I go. You’ll be able to find all the basics of any TJ’s.
The last few times I’ve gone they were low on stock for most everything. They ran out of Joe Joe’s! I don’t know what’s up with that but most of the time it’s A-​O-​K.

Love their selection of natural goods and organic items! Theyre really local too so thats a plus! VERY BUSY too since its one of the only few in the area, I think the only one in the area thats natural, organic and local like this. Good prices too!
I love their canned, fresh, raw, dry goods. Pretty much everything, very helpful and friendly and welcoming staff too!
