Taco Bell

I would be remiss if I didn’t review this local Taco Bell. This is the only drive through that is within a 5 minute drive from our home. Although they have had some bad days, most often they come through with flying colors. My only ‘beef’ with this location is that close early. We’ve driven by at 10:00PM and lights are out and no one is working.
This is a great place for a quick snack. The drive through team is quick. The tacos have recently improved. instead of those teeny tiny shells with a teaspoon of meat, they have revamped their portion and given out a full sized taco. All this for under $ 1. The wife often craves those spicy tostadas: a flat taco shell with refried beans, a spicy mayo, topped with lettuce and bits of shredded cheese. Again, a snack for under $ 1 is not a bad deal.

What can I say about this place,
The only reason I don’t give them one star is because their quesadilla is good.
All the rest of the menu is basically crap.
The beef inside the tacos is not beef. I have no idea what it is but the call it «filler».
They also have kfc in this place and the chicken there is not bad (the grilled chicken)

I vowed never to come here again but when I get a craving for those flat, bean tostadas, I find myself in the drive-thru…mesmerized by the vast menu!
Surprisingly, the food was good today! The hard shelled tacos were actually filled with meat and lettuce and the shell was not broken. The Mexican Pizza was in tact, no messy cheese, just a nice round pizza. And of course, my $.99 tostada was its usual tasty… when desperate for this type of food!
There has to be something said. not sure what… when you live 5 minutes from an institution that constantly advertises on TV and has an immediate fix to those hunger pangs!

This place is NEVER open late –twice we have came here and it’s closed. Horrible! Not consistent with other branches

Greg f. You’re right, the taco meat doesn’t taste right. I threw my food away after two bites, God only knows what was causing that weird taste. This place is nasty, someone is going to get seriously sick if they haven’t already. I pass by this place on a daily basis… I won’t go back again… ever.

Regular Taco Bell and KFC, but even though the décor is new, the place is very very dirty. Management needs a serious wake up call by the health department!

Where to begin… The the waste of space Abrahim got my entire order wrong! For heavens sake, you have one job. Added tomatoes to my taco which I’m allergic, put two ridiculous small drums when my receipt says breast and wing, wanted mash and wedges but got mash and mac&cheese. The list continues of stupid pathetic mistakes.

New renovation looks great. But wow their service is bad as ever. They need to get more staff. Food takes way to long to come out.

Me and my friends came here every week. Only place with KFC. Service was great, the KFC wasn’t, taco bell was and was cheaper, I grew up with this place and it looks great after the renovation, waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the one in fairfax station

Awful. Just awful. Everytime…

I have only been here two times, yet I am the Duke. That should tell you something. This location was kind of dirty when I went in but I was really craving KFC. That in itself is odd because I never crave KFC. So, my wife and I met up and we ate. Both of us felt sick. I got the three piece hot wing, a volcano taco and the three piece chicken strip meal. The chicken strips were soggy, not crispy like they should be. They were also a little greasier than they should have been. The potatoes and cold slaw were good though. My wife just got a two piece combo and she was disappointed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt though and went back a second time. I got two pieces of the original boneless chicken as it was only a dollar a piece and a 10 piece original chicken bites. I also ordered some Taco Bell items. This time I ordered via drive-​thru instead of going in and my experience was really good considering I believe the theory of Leo Getz, «They F*@% you at the drive thru, okay.» This time went well, the chicken wasn’t to greasy and I didn’t feel sick after. The Taco Bell had an odd taste to the beef though both times. Also, my wife said her Mexican pizza tasted strange both times.

I wish I had read the reviews of this place, before I went there. They were totally accurate. It was dirty, the food did seem stale and old. The worst thing was it was ridiculously slow. It’s tacos and fried chicken. I shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes for 2 tacos.

Look. I know this is Taco Bell. It’s not Chipotle and it’s not Moe’s. But this one is SO much better than the Taco Bell/​Burger King in Kingstowne VA. Granted, in Kingstowne they don’t use fried chicken in their quesadillas. but I’d take this place over K-​towne.
Everything I’ve had from here was hot and fresh. I usually only grab a quesadilla (steak), a crunch wrap or a couple tacos but I can’t complain. It’s Taco Bell and it’s good in a pinch! And make them give you extra packets of hot sauce. They never flinch when I ask for lots of hot sauce, like most places do where they feel like they have to ration out packets.

Nothing to rave about. Taco shells were stale. Chicken little was small and soggy. The cantina bowl was good. Safest bet is the bean burrito

Sometimes the staggering lows of a restaurant are both shocking and offensive but can be internally forgiven by the simple statement «At least I’m not eating fast food».
This is fast food. So nothing can make you feel better about it.
Unfortunately this store is right by my house so I end up here far more than I should. Especially since a full 75% of the time, they get the order wrong.
Since this is a combo store, Taco Bell & KFC, they do not always have every menu item from both stores. More often than not, they are missing items from the KFC menu.
But since it is a combo, they also do things like use fried chicken in the Mexican dishes when they run out of grilled taco chicken. An Original Recipe Chicken Quesadilla is one of the worst things I have ever eaten.
The nearest Taco Bell store to here is at Burke Centre Pkwy & Rte 123. But it is slightly more expensive.
If fate has damned you to be here, do not leave the counter or drive-​thru until you have visually verified your order in its entirety.

Horrible quality, bad service. Gone down hill over the last few years.

Why is it every time I walk into a Taco Bell I hear the theme from «The Quick and the Dead»?
This place is a rat’s nest; just plain nasty looking. Busted chairs, dirt floors, nasty coke machine and soiled counters. It’s amazing the things I’ll do to try a taco with a giant Doritos chip for a shell. Honest to god, I thought I needed a yellow fever vaccine when I left this place. It was so messy it looked like one of the locations that Neo fought Mr. Smith in the first Matrix.
The credit card machine was dial up slow. But the servers were polite so i didn’t take it out on anyone. when the Pepsi Max valve blew up all over my shirt though, that was the last straw, as it were.
The Los Locos Tacos — unexpectedly good. It’s wonder I didn’t get sick.
