I stopped in today and they recently changed the name and menu. I was kind of excited as I have been going there for years but always felt a bit slighted by the owner/manager that would talk to be and was always pleasant to others, but never to a fellow middle easterner that was not Lebanese. Only to find out it was just changes but they haven’t changed the management. Wow this place could be so much better if they had her retire.

I have been going here consistently for over three years now, and I definitely am a fan. I do think they are overpriced for certain things the side items, and some of the kebob dinners do not have large enough portions for what they charge, in my opinion. The pita wraps are what I usually get. They are a very descent size, and mostly around $ 8. The food always has good flavor, and the tahini dressing is good. I order my lunch from here once every 1 – 2 weeks, because it is one of the only(if not the only) healthy restaurants near where I work. I will come here as long as I work in the area!

The food is good but do not get take out. The portions are terrible for the amount you have to pay. I just spent $ 14:95 on a plate dish and I had a small pile of rice and four pieces of meat and a side of pita. Terrible!

I really wanted to like this place. I was super excited to know that I found this chain here as I’ve been to ones in the Mid West. I was disappointed to find out that this location wasn’t similar to the ones I’ve visited. The Spinach Fatayer is too sour… pita is stale… the baba is kind of slimy and also sour. the falafel rolled is very dry. Then to top it off, I told our waiter that someone in my party is allergic to carrot and we still found it in our food. Allergies are a serious matter. He was nice to apologize and say that it’s added to the salad but that was after the fact! That’s why I informed then while ordering. The only Decent dish was the tuna steak rolled. I wouldn’t return again.

Not the best food, but not the worst. Service is ok. They have a big menu, so it gives you a lot of option when ordering. It is close to home so we gave it a try. Not expensive, might come back

The food was very good, but the service was iffy. The delivery is very efficient though. I ordered $ 50 worth of food and it arrived at my house 25 minutes later. Was very warm and tasty. I would definitely recommend if you want to try some real Lebanese food.

Great Food and service. The prices are just right, I loved the Hummas appetizer, they also have an outside eatery which was tempting but due to warm weather I decided against it. My main course was chicken Shawara which was just right in taste and sizes Thank you again and we will back again,

The Taza chicken salad is a must. The wraps with the mustard sauce are also delicious. Skip the hummus, it is not good.

Our Aladdin’s in Shirlington closed, so now we make the 20+ minute drive to Burke when we are able. We are happy the prices have stayed reasonable at this location(Shirlington had a big price increase before closing), and the food is very good. We love this chain. Lots of healthy Middle Eastern options for everyone. The fattoush salad is a great appetizer to share, and the Flavor Savor Special is a big hearty meal. Chicken or beef hummus plates also always a good choice. This location has recently remodeled and the new layout looks great. We came recently with a young child and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Kibbeh was good Hummus chawarma was awful it’s like they poured two cans of hummus(mediocre taste) in a plate and sprinkled a tiny amount of meat on top. The meat got cold and chewey within a minute. which tells me it was microwaved. come on really ???

Always good, always relaxing, always a restaurant we look forward to. The staff is helpful but unobtrusive, and the food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. When we are feeling particularly stressed, Aladdin’s is our choice of restaurants where we can rest and recover from a hard day. We particularly like that the menu offers something for everyone in our family — from carnivores to vegans.

One of my all time favorite places to eat– I absolutely love their carrot honey smoothies and lentil soup. The rolled pitas are also exceptional and if you like meat, try the cube appetizer. Every waiter I’ve ever had has been great and you must save room for dessert because the cakes are amazing! They are displayed in a glass case by the front which is dangerous when you’re really hungry. A great place for lunch or dinner.

OK restaurant that’s close to home and where I can fulfill my Baba and Tabouli cravings. We had the rolled Pita sandwiches. Spicy beef was pretty good. Lamb was overcooked thus there were a few tough pieces. One piece actually had gristle… this should have been cut away. We had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken and to receive drink refills during the meal. This was unfortunate as there was only one other occupied table. Young server was pleasant. Overall should have been a 2.5. I rounded up because of the tabouli and baba. Other food isn’t anything special but I will give it another shot.

Legit menu with many options. Jasmine’s Favorite Rice with Lamb and the Chicken Chili were my choices, but I also tried the Tabouli. Everything was fresh and light. The Lebanese glass of red is not bad, either. As mentioned in previous reviews, many vegetarian/vegan options. Check it out, you are sure to find something that appeases(that sounds like a sponsored pitch).

This local restaurant is our go-to for take out and dine-in, if we are in the mood for hummus and kaftan. They make their food to order, it’s always fresh, and tasty. This review is for dinner with our out of town guests. We ordered the Combo Special which included a Kafta skewer, a Chicken Breast Skewer, and a Shish Kabob, along with their rice/vermicelli side dish. Three of us ordered the same entrée and the server was able to customize of our dishes. The place is located in the heart of Burke across from the Post Office. There is plenty of parking. I have noticed they do delivery but have not used that service.

It was our first time having dinner at Aladdin’s. It was delicious, the service was excellent, and the place was super clean. My lamb was a little chewy, which will happen if it is overcooked in the littlest bit. The tiramisu was a little dry, which I have never experienced before. We will definitely be returning!

I really like this place. It’s never busy inside, but the food always tastes very fresh, especially the spinach pies and salads(love the house dressing!), and the fresh fruit smoothies are great. The chicken pita with garlic sauce was very good too. This place is HEAVILY vegetarian-friendly, though there are plenty of meat options if you so desire. Very large menu. Local cheap eats!(Yes, it’s technically a chain.) When it’s nice out, there are ~6 tables outside under the canopy that are pleasant.

It’s been a few years since I dropped by Aladdin’s Eatery again, but yesterday’s visit proved to be quite a pleasant surprise and had me leaving a very happy customer. I remember not being too impressed with the food the last time I was there, though I thought the lentil soup with Swiss chard and potatoes was very comforting and delicious. The advertised fresh juices and perhaps another platter were only so-so. In contrast, the second try after a few years left me with a full belly, and if my tummy could smile it would. The prices are very reasonable – many menu items costing less than 10 bucks! Reason alone to come: tuna steak rolled pita!!! It’s huge, easily a foot-long. The tuna steak inside is moist and well-seasoned, and there is a lot of it. Aladdin’s garlic sauce, generously slathered all over the inside of the pita and intermixing with the flavors of the assorted vegetables included, is to die for. I could drink that up, I could. By the end, the irresistible sauce was all over my face, my hands, my wrists… but it was okay by me. And the price tag? Less than eight bucks, $ 7.65 to be exact. Lovely. We also ordered the len-chili to share, and that was scrumptious as well. It was just as homey as the lentil soup, but with an added kick. Though Aladdin’s Eatery is a franchise, I’m sure, as the case with most franchises, that the quality varies from place to place. This location has very friendly and courteous staff, which is a definite plus. Additionally, the outdoor seating available is nice, especially if you get to sit near the vibrant red blooms in planter boxes. Too bad the view is of the parking lot and Taco Bell/Kentucky Fried Chicken… Anyway, I’d definitely recommend Aladdin’s, if you’re in the Burke area. Burke, sadly, doesn’t have too many decent dining options, but Aladdin is an oasis in a good dining desert.
