Seriously the best Mexican food in the area! We love this place. Be prepared to wait in a weekend night. House margaritas are yummy!

Thin tasty chips that Marilyn would approve of! Smoky salsa with great flavor, but pace yourself, you need to save room for the tableside guacamole. There was an Anglo kid training a Mexican girl how to make the guac; I love Texas! They had dos equis amber on draft. With the abundance of Mexican beers now available, I forgot how much I enjoy that beer. Beef fajitas were tender, no toothpick needed. They had great flavor. My dad used to sell fajitas at our Founders Day carnival in the 80s, I think it was mandated as the town Mexican. These reminded me of those fajitas from years ago. My dad use to marinate the fajitas like they were a topshelf margarita, lime and orange. I suspect they do the same. Burleson has a cute little old town square, with this restaurant being the busiest. I came her for a trackmeet and was pleasantly surprised to get a small Texas roadtrip.

We waited over an hour for our dinner, as tables were turned all around us. The sad part was that we were celebrating a huge event in our lives, and the service was so bad. It was my husband’s first and last visit. Plus, it was just really overpriced Mexican food. Not sure what the hype is about. Go to Mexican Inn instead!

One of the best restaurants in Burleson and definitely the best Tex-Mex place. The wait can be a little long sometimes and we’re hoping a few other restaurants will pop up around Old Town to help out with the large demand we have for quality restaurants here. It can also get extremely loud sometimes so it’s difficult to hear the people around your table — especially near the bar. Everything on the menu is fabulous — smoked meats, spiced to perfection.

Good food, but minimal parking and slow service. I recommend the brisket anything. Be prepared to wait, especially if you have more than 4 people. On multiple occasions people in our party of 6 to 8 had to wait at least 20 minutes after everyone else got their food.

I made reservations a week and a half before the Saturday before Mother’s Day. I was told the only space available for our party of 10 was in the patio area. This would have been the time to inform me that the patio area was smoking, not air-conditioned, and that a band would be playing so loud we wouldn’t hear ourselves think, much less have any possibility of a conversation. I can understand having a band playing the patio, but this was at 630 pm on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. Why not have the band start after the dinner crowd? 1 star is for the excellent service, negative 4 stars for the patio.

Holy Taquitos Batman. This place is awesome. Laid back atmosphere complimented by all day happy hour. I had the brisket Taquitos, hubby had the brisket chimichanga. Both amazing… I am sure anything with the brisket is amazing. Our waiter, Christian, was attentive and kind. He explained the menu, made recommendations and waited on a bunch of other tables. Just a great place, we will definitely go back. Much better than on the boarder

I usually rate a Tex-Mex restaurant based on their Chile Rellenos. This is probably my least favorite place to get it. It was overly breaded, soggy, and bland. The highlight of my meal was the salsa and it stops there. My husband tried the steak and liked it but how hard is it to mess up a steak anyway? My search for decent Chile Rellenos in Burleson continues.

Holy guacamole this restaurant is amazing! When the manager heard it was our first time in she brought us samples of all their meats and took the time to tell us about the restaurant. Jalapeño cucumber margarita was top notch and the husband says it’s the best steak fajitas he’s ever had. I had the brisket quesadilla. It was gigantic and delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

First visit to Fresco’s last night. We mentioned it was our first time and immediately one of the managers, Emily, arrived at our table with samples of their awesome beef fajita meat, fajita chicken and shredded brisket. Besides the house salsa, we were treated to a sampling of three additional salsas and hot sauces. All were very good. The four of us each tried different entrees and we were all very pleased with the flavorful, hot food. Two of us had an amazing cucumber jalapeño margarita that I’m craving today. Emily mentioned that they have a great patio but we didn’t see it this time. Guess we will have to go back! Highly recommend.

Was told the wait would be 20 – 25 minutes but it was about an hour instead. The chips and dip were great! Had the brisket tacos… I was impressed! Would have given a 3 for the longer than told wait time but the food was great.

So Mexican food is probably one of my favorite cuisines, and being from a place that makes phenomenal Mexican food makes me a bit particular about it. Having said that, I knew something was off the minute we stepped in the restaurant. I will refrain from making a comment that may be perceived as stereotypical, but I had questions regarding the authenticity and tastiness of the restaurant based on the crowd and lack of melanin. Our waitress was polite and got our order quickly. It took her a while to bring back our water, but it was crowded so I wouldn’t count that against her. We ordered queso which was actually very good. The chips were hot, fresh, think and crisp with just a hint of salt. As for the meal? Well I got the mucho burrito and hubby got the enchiladas. My burrito was DRY, and bland beyond comprehension. The best way to describe it was a horrible Chipotle imitation. There wasn’t enough salt I could put on it to make it better. After just two bites I was done. I refused to assault my taste buds any longer! Hubby ate his enchiladas and remarked that he’s had better but he did eat his entire meal. I will give our waitress credit, she did see the ugly look on my face when she came by asking us how everything was. She returned again shortly after noticing that I had barely touched my meal and asked if I wanted something else. I told her I didn’t and that hubby would eat it. For the record, I never return food, just because I don’t trust what a place will do with my second order. In this case that mistrust applied, along with I knew whatever I got would probably be just as bad, so I didn’t bother. All in all, this is an establishment I won’t ever come back to due to the food quality, however the service was good.

First time at this location, and don’t get me wrong the food was pretty good, but if you want authentic Mexican food then you’re better off somewhere else. I was impressed with how fast we got seated, as soon as we came in we got a table but then again it was just the two of us. Our server was outstanding, but as we got our food it was freezing the entire time. Asked a manger if they could tone it down but nothing changed. I couldn’t enjoy my meal without shivering. Outside in the cold rain was better than dinning in here. The servers are more friendly than the hosts so shout out to them. The chips and salsa are awesome, has a mild smoky taste to it, and accidentally got too full before my meal, ha!

Fresco’s has wonderful Tex-Mex cuisine. From chicken fajitas to spinach enchiladas with sour cream sauce. And their side guacamole is phenomenal! They have a variety of dishes to try– and I haven’t ever been disappointed. Such a lovely Tex-Mex restaurant that is one of my favorite eateries. The wait staff is friendly and courteous. And they will ensure you enjoy your visit by their friendly smiles and Amazing customer service.

Most all was tasty. Even with no crowd it took 40 minutes to get food. The shrimp Acapulco(bacon wrapped grilled shrimp) was burnt. The server was nice(Tiffany) Chips salsa etc were good just took to long and shrimp was burnt and very tough. No wonder it comes with a knife and sauce.

Fresco’s I love you. I love the jalapeño infused pork chops. It’s not on the menu, they have it as a special from time to time. The fajitas are really good. They have traditional fajitas, but they also have fajitas with vegetables and it comes with squash, snow peas, zucchini, and broccoli. I love that. Another favorite of mine is the Pechuga de pollo. A VERYBIG chicken breast cooked in garlic butter sauce and it comes with red rice(which is great, but I sub for vegetables). They bring your food on a cart. Kind of like a medicine cart that you see in hospitals, but smaller. It’s unique I think. I’ve ate at hundreds of restaurants and I have never seen your food be carted to you. :)

One word — yum. I really enjoyed my chicken enchiladas. Our server was awesome too. We had a cup of queso for an app. Yum. Their salsa: also yum. I was able to swap out my beans(yuck) with mexican corn. Theirs was a different version then I had tried before, but it was still really good. I don’t live in Fort Worth but I definitely want to stop by next time I’m in the area.
