This place was cool I guess… nothing to phone home about. My sister and I had the Texas hot dog and I had a turtle Sunday she had cheesecake custard. Hotdog looked old tasted ok I guess and the custard was pretty basic.

I wish this place didn’t have the ice cream parlor feel. Yes I understand that it serves custard, but that’s not the only item on the menu. The hot dogs are good, some better then others. All in all it’s just good. I think if they really amped up the food service side, it would draw more attention.

Color me happy! This place is awesome! I have only tried the custard but, why would I go any further than that! [Not that into hot dogs] love the place and the staff

The hotdogs are mediocre, you could probably make a better one on the grill at home. But I’d come back again for the frozen custard. I got the coconut and sampled a few others, and they were all very flavorful and delicious.

I have nothing exciting to say we had custard. It was custard one of the toppings I requested was banana I assumed it was fresh since the fresh bananas were hanging near by however it was frozen banana which I loathe. I ordered a Chicken salad to go smells great looks great. For the price on custard it was lacking. My sweet tooth son requested to throw away his custard so you know it’s not that great. I had high hopes but it was over all a let down. Not disgusting or gross by any means just average. I would recommend that most of the establishments in the area stop hiring teenagers with zero personality.

Friendly & helpful staff! Came in for lunch. Ordered a «Texas hotdog» and a «Colby walk in» sundae. The hotdog was okay. I wish they had a grilled hotdog option. That would of made it much better. The dog was good… just not a huge fan of steamed or rotisserie dogs. The custard sundae was amazing! Wish there were more options for lunch… however…definitely worth to come back for the custard!

I was super excited when I came across a Groupon coupon for this place. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met… at all. The hot dogs were mediocre at its best. Quite frankly, I’ve had better tasting(and looking) hot dogs at the QT gas station. And that’s saying A LOT! The prices were over-inflated for what you receive. Also, the only sides they had available were several varieties of chips. No french fries, onion rings or tator tots. The ONLY good thing I do have to say is the location. It’s located next door to Fresco’s Mexican restaurant in Old Downtown Burleson.

Frozen custard and homemade waffle cone were great… the price was comparable to any other yogurt or ice cream place I’ve visited

So happy that we tried this place! The custard is yummy and there were a variety of flavors. I had the death by chocolate and coconut. They were both amazing! Hubs had the coffee and loved it. My 2 year old ate about ½ and wore the other ½ of the peppermint flavor. We will return! My only suggestion to the owners would be to add arcade games upstairs for the kids.

The custard was ok. The lemon wasn’t lemony and was an artificial yellow color. The cinnamon tasted like potpourri smells. Overall not impressed. They obviously don’t make it on site.

Don’t waste your money for the so-called«custard». A true custard is creamy, smooth and rich. This cheap imitation was icy and flavorless. We tried four different kinds in our group and it all tasted the same, no distinct flavors, plus left a weird after-taste to boot. I’ll take Dairy Queen or Braum’s anyday compared to this hoax. If you want real custard, try Curly’s on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth.

Best hot dogs in DFW. We’ve been eating at the original location in Dallas since the 90’s. Glad they brought Harry’s legacy to Burleson! Homemade custard is worth the trip of you’re not in the mood for a dog!

Their hotdogs are overpriced and not the gourmet dogs I was expecting. They don’t even char them on a grill. The only other thing on the menu is grilled cheese. I was really disappointed they don’t have Italian beef sandwiches like their other locations but I’d probably be disappointed in the quality. Everyone I’ve talked to thinks this place is expensive so I hope they change accordingly. Their frozen custard is fantastic and is what will bring me back again and again. A great selection to choose from and it changes every day. Free tasting too.

I used to live in Dallas and Wild About Harry’s was my favorite place to grab a Chicago-dog.I’m happy to say their Burleson location doesn’t disappoint. But the real reason I go is for the custard… so freaking good. My favorite is the coconut, you can’t beat it. If I could eat their custard every day I would… The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is they are a little on the pricey side… their Dallas location is in a high-end neighborhood so I know why it’s expensive but if they’re going to stay in Burleson they may have to adjust accordingly.

Just ehh. My previous introduction to custard was Wooley’s and Harry’s wasn’t even close to as good. I was under the impression that custard was supposed to be rich and creamy. The Toffee Crunch flavor I got was icy and nothing special. I’ve had better frozen yogurt and regular ice cream at many other places. It’s pretty expensive also. 3 Dixie cup sized servings cost us $ 9. Personally, I was pretty underwhelmed. I’d probably give it one more chance since it just opened the other day and maybe they are working out the kinks, but as of right now, Wild About Harry’s was Much Ado About Nothing.

Wild About Harry’s is a new addition to Olde town Burleson. In the middle of Babe’s and Frescos. They have custard, shakes, hot dogs, and some other things. They just opened July 4th, so it wasn’t all that busy. We ate at Grumps and came over here for dessert. They have chicago hot dogs, texas hot dogs, savannah hot dogs, and a variety of other hot dogs. They have sandwiches like the italian beef and a grilled cheese. Other specialties such as the frito pie. The husband and I got the turtle pecan with vanilla ice cream, daughter got peanut butter, and son got chocolate. All were very good. Definitely will return for the custard/ice cream and give the hot dogs a try. They open until 11 pm at night on the weekends, so that’s a plus! Update: Tried hot dogs the day after. Not bad. Husband had Texas dog with chili, onions, cheese. I had Dallas dog with relish, cheese, onions. Only gripe is that they should melt the cheese and not serve cheese cold on top of a hot hot dog. Decent hot dogs. Would come for dessert more so than the hot dogs though. Happy to see something new in Burleson!

VERYPRICEY!!! A Hot dog and a shake was over $ 11.00. Granted the shake was VERYGOOD, but the price would be a deterrent from returning. The hot dog was okay, not like a true Chicago style dog by no means other than looks. Suggestion would be to rethink their business model and adjust things a little. A «Gourmet» Hot Dog it is not, but the price sure is. Probably not going back until I hear they’ve changed some things. I’ll go right down the block to GRUMPS Burgers over Harry’s any day! That’s a GREAT Gourmet Burger joint for very reasonable prices.

Opening this weekend! This will be a great place for kids. Samples of their custard were delicious.
