This is probably the best sandwich place in all of Burleson! The sandwiches are made to order, taste amazing, and there are so many different combinations! The sides are great, the soups are superb, and they have these little bite size cookies that taste like little drops of heaven! I always order extra!

Stopped here for lunch, it was busy but they were able to get our sandwiches and soup out to us quickly. Sandwiches were tasty, salads were fresh, my husband had the soup and said it was delicious too. We did find it odd that a place that has soup in the name only has 2 soups a day… but definitely will be back.

I love this place-every time I am in Burleson I have to stop in here. The breads are fresh, the soups made daily. My favorite soup is the enchilada soup that they serve on wednesdays. They also give you a small cake mix cookie that is so delicious. Please stop in for some great food-the service is great too.

I have never had a problem with this place until today. I ordered food around 11am to be delivered(maybe two miles up the road) and after waiting 45 minutes I called them back to ask where my food was and why it was taking so long, then the girl on the phone hung up on me. So I called back again and asked to speak to a manager. Once I got on the phone with Ginger, the manager, she apologized and said that they always have an hour wait for delivery… If this is true the girl I ordered from should have let me know it was going to be at least an hour wait before I even got my food, so I could have decided to go somewhere else or go in and pick it up. Ginger did apologize and say that they were having problems with their phones today and that’s why the call was dropped. I am upset about the customer service received today and more than likely will not be going back.

Love this café. The delicious soups and fresh sandwiches are sooo good. I often bring my daughters here for our mom and kiddo time. We all enjoy the people who work here. They are always so kind.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! I came in with my boyfriend about a week ago, and got the daily special– tomato basil soup and a chicken & ranch sandwich. The soup was by far the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten in my life(don’t tell my mom, lol)!!! And the sandwich was amazing as well. I definitely wasn’t expecting the deliciousness that was the cookie either! Love this place, and I can’t wait to come back!!!

I love this place they have vegetarian meat selections as well, I eat meat but sometimes I want to change it up. The meat is Dietz and Watson so you know you’re getting quality. They also have a gluten free bread which not a lot of sandwich shops offer. They offer two different soups each day. My favorite is Broccoli Cheese, so delicious. They are only open Mon-Thurs 8 – 8, Fri 8 – 3. They have breakfast sandwiches, I just haven’t tried them yet. The service is friendly and fast.

Love this place for a quick lunch stop. The sandwiches are always delicious and the pasta salad is my absolute favorite. They get pretty busy at lunch time, but your food will still come out quickly. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the place is clean. Oh, and you get a free mini cookie with your meal… score! Note: they aren’t open on the weekends and they close early on Fridays.

This was an unfortunate experience for us. Called in with 4 separate orders and asked for delivery to our location and was told that it would be at least 90 minutes until they could deliver our food. Since we all clock in and out for lunch, I opted to send someone to pick it up instead, and let’s just say that I am glad that I did because when we arrived to pick it up, there on the wall, for all the world to see, and potentially steal, were the credit card numbers we gave as payment over the phone! Very irresponsible on the part of this business owner to display credit card numbers and expiration dates on the tickets they use for orders. When it was brought to the attention of the cashier/counter girl, she was very rude and we were told that they had«been doing it this way for 8 years», and that we were the only ones upset about it. My guess is we’re the only ones that have noticed it since it was a «to go» order instead of a delivery. Once the food was picked up and brought back to our place, there were two mistakes on one order, and when we called and asked that they fix it and deliver the replacement, we were told once again that it would be another hour before it could be brought us. Today’s incident will be the last time we do business with this restaurant. I will add that we were called back by Terry(a manager?) and we told her we were all upset that the card numbers were on display. She said that they«normally don’t do that, but we were so busy» that they did it that way today, which is obviously a complete contradiction to what the counter girl told us. As of now, it’s been over an hour, the replacement food has not arrived, and we’re all hoping that no one has compromised our credit cards.

They have really good soup and a great variety of sandwiches. I wish they had a better variety of soups to choose from. They only make two different soups each day and I totally understand the effort involved in making them from scratch with fresh ingredients. I just wish there were at least 3 or 4 to choose from and that at least one of them could be a healthy option without a creamy base. Really friendly ladies too but $ 18 seems a little expensive for two people too. Still I’d rather go here than Subway any day.

I’m being slightly more generous than I’d like to be by giving 2 stars. This place wasn’t awful, it was clean and the sweet tea is good. It is probably one of the most overpriced places I’ve EVER eaten. The sandwich was fine I guess but it was certainly not worth the price. It was equivalent to what you’d make in your own kitchen. I could buy an entire loaf of bread and some pre packaged crappy lunch meat plus some cheese and veggies and make 6 sandwiches for the price that this place charges for 1 sandwich. $ 10 for 1 small sandwich and a tea is outrageous, they do include a small side. I had the pasta salad and the portion was very small and taste was fine. Basically if you are hungry for a sandwich you are better off going to subway, you will spend less money and may actually leave feeling full instead of screwed.

My husband placed and order as I was driving home from work… this place is hard to get to for me but I love the Thursday Tortilla soup. When I got to the restaurant I was told that they were out of the Chicken Salad, which is what I ordered. I have a serious problem with the place letting my husband place an order, me driving there, and then being told they did not have what I want. Bad business. The High School girls working the counter seemed to have no concern about the whole deal. I left without anything and will probably go with another option in the future. If you have a menu, then ALL options on the menu should be available during open hours.

I ordered the veggie burger w/lettuce, tomato, mayo and onion. It came on sourdough bread like you would find in the grocery store. It was very good and not too mushy like a lot of veggie burgers. Clean environment and friendly. Didnt care for the pasta salad(it tasted sweet). It’s nice to find a place that’s vegetarian friendly. We would definitely eat there again.

This place is awesome! It can be a little daunting to find a healthy place to eat in Burleson, but I was so excited by the offerings at Stone Soup. I am so impressed by all the vegetarian options available, and they don’t skimp on flavor or quality.(I had the California Dreamer with veggie turkey. Soooo good!) It has a family-owned vibe to it, which is great, with a welcoming, casual environment. The prices were super fair considering the quality ingredients used. There is something here for everyone; I highly recommend you check it out for yourself!
