Great burger joint. Come to SFO for work and this place is always consistently good. Wish they were open later.

This place used to be my go-to place for breakfast and lunch when I worked in the area a few years ago. I haven’t been back in for a while and was ecstatic to see that they are finally open for dinner! My favorite burger(no longer on the menu) was the garlic burger. They took a whole clove of garlic and pan fried it and topped the massive on ½lb mountain of a bison patty. I have also frequented this places for breakfast. On this trip I got the 1⁄3 lb bison western burger with bacon with fries. The patties here are freshly handmade and grilled to order. You can most definitely taste the difference! This is/was my go to place for a good burger near SFO. Eat with confidence

Great service — they took outstanding care of my wife and I and the baby. They even made him a special plate so he could eat with us. Food was outstanding too! We will be coming back the next time we are down to SFO.

Friendly people with great food and prices. Also a short nice walk by the bay if you are staying at the hotels nearby.

Excellent choice for great burgers and other lunch items. I had the avocado bacon burger with chili on the side and both were excellent, but there were many other good looking choices, too. My companion had a rice bowl topped with a chicken egg vegetable scramble. Also, the service was highly attentive, surprisingly so for a burger joint. Like Jason A., we were delighted to find such an affordable and delicious option within walking distance of the hotel. Regarding Sandoval’s comment, we got a lot of great food for about $ 10 each.

Came in for dinner. Had the Western burger and onion rings. The rings were decently average, but the burger was huge! It’s offered loaded with whatever you want on it. Mine had lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion rings and cheese. Was very good. Messy and a mouthful too. All orders are made fresh while you wait. Will definitely come back!

Found this little gem while staying at the Hampton Inn. It is behind the hotel with access from the hotel parking lot. I had the morning glory bison burger. It was delicious, very juicy with lots a flavor and a toasted bun. Bison isn’t found everywhere and it’s a healthier choice than hamburger so it’s great finding a place that knows how to make one. They also grind there own meat which helps in making a good burger. Price isn’t cheap but for the Bay Area it’s very reasonable. It’s a small mom and pop joint that only seats about 25. Talked with the proprietor and he seemed to really care about my dining experience. If your in the area give this place a try.

I hate to be negative towards a small business but I’ve eaten here 3x now and… My bottom line feeling is its over priced. Most recently my Cobb Salad was the motivator to write this review. On the menu the Cobb includes, bacon, blue cheese and mesclun(assorted greens). Well for $ 11.50 the portion was marginal, blue cheese almost non-existent, bacon near flavorless. Also, no mesclun just ice berg(cheap ass ice-berg really?). Basically the salad was«flat». An $ 11 salad from an out of the way lunch place should not be flat. Where’s the value? My prior 2 experiences were similar value vs cost issues, but I held off on the review feeling undecided. Today I am finally disappointed. Sorry Bullshead but my lunch money is going to go somewhere else from now on.

This place is such a hidden treasure. You can never go wrong with bullshead, the staff is absolutely amazing. Rush hour is at noon so call ahead! I always get the Ceaser salad which is great! I had never like bison before but the burger is pretty ! The owner is so observant she will come up to you to make sure you’re ok. Love love love it here!

So I rarely have to write negative reviews, but I had to WARN!!! People yesterday I ordered two bison burgers one western and one teriyaki. With fries and the«door dash delivery it was 40 dollars. While eating the burger I observed it was really red not even rare but red like it was not cooked at all. Needless to say after I finished half my burger I had to run to the rest room and throw up. I asked my coworker how their lunch was and they said it was not cooked and didn’t feel well. I calls bulls head to advise them of the matter and spoke with«sue» she kept telling me it’s fresh it was medium well I advised her it was not she went and grabbed my receipt to check on the order I advised her that it made me throw up, and my coworker was not feeling good. Instead of offering me anything to make up for the inconvenience she caused us. she stated to me, next time I’ll make it well done for you I don’t think I can take another 40 dollar risk or sore throat again I thought it was terrible customer service on sues part she didn’t care what so ever she got us sick from the food she prepared for us. Shame on you Sue for the food and poor customer service SMH be advised anyone eating a bison burger you’ve been WARNED!!!

Great, friendly place. I went there for breakfast to escape the overpriced Marriott. It is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Standard American breakfast at diner prices. Not fancy but instead exactly what I was looking for.

I think this joint earns the honor of: My second favorite burger. The bacon was nice and crispy. The BBQ sauce on the western was smoky, the onion rings crunchy. I don’t mind a mess when I’m eating a half pound burger, so a little more sauce might have been useful. Otherwise i thoroughly enjoyed this new local favorite

I was staying at the Marriott across the street, and decided to see how the breakfast was at the Hampton Inn, walked through their hallway and voila! I was in their back parking lot! I kept walking and I saw this area of empty office units with one of them with a picnic bench and a sign. «Wait…This is a restaurant? I entered the sliding door and I was in this cute little mom and pop operation run by Korean owners. The entrance I entered in was their back door, they have a front entrance that opened up in an office complex which now made sense as they cater to the business in the area. I had a tuna salad on white with French fries and a sobe piña colada drink from their retail beverage cooler. They put strips of egg whites mixed with the tuna… awesome and huge! Fries were fresh and crispy… I was sooo full, I had to take the other half of my sandwich back to the hotel! I had gone back over a dozen times while in the Bay Area. I have since brought my coworkers there and they love it too. Since I literally found this place by accident! It is a true hidden gem!

The lady jacked me and gave me the wrong change. I didn’t notice until I got home. My fault for not counting all my dollars. Gave her $ 40 for a $ 25 lunch and she missed it by $ 10. I should’ve checked! Won’t be returning if this is how they are with cash. As for the food, nothing special but I didn’t try their bison. Maybe that’s their thing? It’s just a plain $ 10 burger. Fries were way too greasy and I don’t even have high standards for a fried potato.

This nice little restaurant is hidden among the hotels, warehouses and office buildings. They have a patio at the back of the restaurant with 2 large picnic tables. Enough room for the dog to wonder around a bit without disturbing other customers. Service is great, and the price is very reasonable. I’ve tried their burgers, BLT, and onion rings. All very good.

The boy&I were looking up unique places to eat, and BullsHead Express popped up, so we figured, why not? I’d never had buffalo meat before and was curious what a bison burger tasted like. We were kind of confused by the location, and we parked kind of far from the entrance, but it was all good. The owner was suuuper nice and helpful. I ended up getting the 1⁄3 pound mushroom&onion bison burger [with everything] medium rare, and the boy got a medium rare terriyaki bison burger with onion rings. We didn’t eat in the store, but the store is just. a no-nonsense place where you can chill&eat. Kind of a bro-hangout spot. We took our orders and ate along the little park-ish/walkway area nearby [to watch the planes], and ohmygoodness the food was so good. Bison has a lighter taste than beef [definitely leaner], but it was just as filling. They ran out of french fries [it was about 1?], but it’s okay. The onion rings are a MUST. Best onion rings EVERRRR. It was a bit pricy [about $ 9.70 for my burger, $ 11ish for the boy’s burger&onion rings], but I have no regrets. I was satisfied for the rest of the day […although I may or may not have gotten ice cream later on… Shh!!]. Definitely coming back the next time I get a burger craving and am in the area. I just wish they were open later, but definitely a great lunch spot.
