Susan Michal with the Sternsmith Group was the“buyer agent” that represented me on a home I purchased in Redwood City CA March 2016.
I am an experienced home buyer.
In my opinion Susan has succumbed to the hot market financial opportunistic mentality and her professional duties, ethics, and integrity cast aside.
Even the advertisements were exaggerated…“new electric” actually translated to 50 year original electric and electric panel with a sub panel installed in garage for kitchen appliances. The city approved permits were fraudulent and missed major code violations. The home inspection was fraudulent and the General Contractor was fraudulent.
The list of problems is very long and disturbing on many levels. The brand new furnace did not work, emergency plumbers here 4 times in first 6 weeks, brand new fixtures do not work, marble counter top cracked, multiple fire hazard building code violations, etc. etc. etc.
Its unfair to paint an entire company bad because of an individual but the Broker is well aware of the details and has never even contacted me. My advice is to be very very cautious and not believe anything verbally or written until you verify it. Susan made multiple promises after the fact for some type of compensation and assistance and getting her broker involved, but has never followed through and has been radio silent for a couple months.

I used Casey to buy my home in 2007, and I have recommended her to dozens of friends since. I was thrilled with Casey’s customer service, sense of urgency, attention to detail, knowledge of the Bay Area Real Estate market, and negotiation skills. Casey is a straight-​shooter, intelligent, and I felt like she always had my best interest at heart.
Bottom line, Casey went above and beyond my expectations.

Once my boyfriend and I made the decision that we wanted to buy a house this year, we quickly enlisted Casey Sternsmith of the Monica Seeger Group to help us. With both of us being first time homebuyers, we needed lots of hand holding through the process. We of course had a lot of questions that she was always willing to answer and was very knowledgeable.
