Was good, but nothing outstanding. The food was indeed pretty fresh and service was ok. It’s an order at the counter sort of place, so not much to say. I ordered a lamb and beef gyro wrap there, and it didn’t come with any tomatoes(despite the menu saying it should have), so not sure what happened there.

I LOVE this place!!! I get food from here at least twice a week. Food is always fast, fresh, and delicious. My favorite plates are Kofte kebab, Falafel, Salmon plate and appetizer combo.

We’ve eaten at Mediterranean Kebab every week for years. The food is healthy and very good and the people that work there have become like family. The staff treat us incredibly well and are extremely patient with misbehaved and loud kids and large groups who move tables and chairs around. This is our go-to place in Burlingame and should be yours too.

I love this place, I always wanted a nice spot to always go to for lunch. I found it. Their lamb and beef gyro is pretty legit. Also their customer service skills are on point! Making me feel welcomed every time!

This is just fabulous. I love it, I just absolutely love it. Great taste that will make you bite your fingers. Homemade quality, and over just a fantastic Resturant. The guy with the glasses has great customer service and is very friendly. I suggest trying their rice pudding. I totally recommend this place.

Delicious, fast, affordable. G and I made a quick stop here for an early date night Sunday night. We ordered at the counter the chicken gyro plate and the beef/lamb gyro plate. It looked healthy and tasty, and both they were. The owner came to set out our utensils, and throughout the evening, we saw lots of regulars come in, order food, chat with the owner, and go. I’d recommend coming here for a casual dinner night or a healthy lunch. Cheers!

Great solid place for Mediterranean! They don’t skimp on the quality or portions. It’s pretty inexpensive and one plate can be shared between two people. I liked the Chicken Gyros plate the most, definitely would come back.

Ordered the chicken kabob plate, it was very good! The chicken had great flavor and was not at all dry. It came with salad, rice and pita bread. The salad dressing was amazing! Rice was flavorful, it was a lot of food, two people could have shared it.

I guess one more review before I go to bed… and before I start getting lazy writing reviewzZZZzzz… This is my favorite place to get Greek/Mediterranean food. I love their lamb & beef plate(#24) and their chicken gyro plate is also really good as well. These rice plates come with the obvious: rice, but also a salad and some sort of dip(I’m assuming it’s for the meat because I always use it as dip). The rice is yellow in color and it is sooooo good. I like the way the lamb and beef are cut here — flat and thinly sliced. Some places cut it as cubes or sausage links and I don’t think it tastes as good that way. They serve pita bread here too, which is sliced open(I only learned this today) so you can put the meat and whatever you would like in it to eat like a taco. I put rice, meat, dip, and a bit of the radish which I never ate til today and it was a good combo! Sometimes ordering at these kinda places is a little confusing though, because sometimes the ‘lamb & beef gyro’ could be the plate and sometimes it’s the pita wrap. It’s always different at every greek/mediterranean place I’ve been to. I would look at the photos on Unilocal just to make sure. Service is always quick. They are very generous with their portions! You order at the cashier and they give you a number to place on the table and they bring the food to you. You can get your water on the dispenser to the left of the register as well as your eating utensils/napkins. But if you forget, they’ll bring some over to you with your food. I love it hereeeeee :)

I should incorporate Greek food into my diet more often. My coworker treated me out for lunch and decided to take me to her favorite Greek place. Little did she know, it’s always been on my list of to tries. With so many choices on Burlingame, this place is easy to miss. There’s plenty of tables inside and some outside for the sunny days. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro plate. Without even knowing, cashier tells me it’s the most popular order. The plate is also served with rice, salad and pita bread. I was trying out my low-carb diet so I opted for more salad in replace of rice. Food arrives SUPER fast. Plate is HUGE. They are very generous with the amount of gyro provided. Although we each got our own, it was probably not a bad idea to share a plate. I wish I had took a picture to describe the amounts of meat that was piled on my plate. Overall, salad was great and much needed for the meat which was the real star of the dish. Sliced just right and superb taste. Only disappointment was the pita bread. It wasn’t warm or hot. They only gave us 5 pieces, too. So that was awkward to split. In addition, they were cut kind of small so it was hard to actually stuff anything inside it. Half star deducted. Rounded down to 4 stars. Fairly inexpensive for full satisfaction!

My friend and I stumbled upon this place, as we were strolling Downtown Burlingame prior to our massage at Project Zen. I’m usually not a fan of Mediterranean food, but I am so glad my friend said, «Hey, let’s check this place out. I’m feeling like eating a kebab.» And let me tell you, best. chicken. kebab. ever. Juicy and incredibly well seasoned, served with rice, salad and pita bread, this place just won my taste buds over. Service was nice and attentive. We ate there and was given a table number. The server who brought our food out also brought out new utensils for us after our dolma appetizer, which wasn’t anything to write home about after the chicken kebab. Parking is all street and metered. Bring quarters and/or your credit card.

It’s dinner time again. After rolling around the San Francisco area, we came into the Burlingame city and found this Mediterranean food stop. Walking along the this shopping/food strip is very clean and well kept. Stepping into the restaurant holds true to this stature. It is not a large place but gives the home-like appeal, kind of like a coffee shop. That lets me know that this place is legit! I order #15, the Chicken Gyro. On the outside it looks like a saltine cracker burrito wrapped in foil!(I just telling you how it is). It turned out delicious for my first one ever. This is a cool spot with a soft atmosphere. A new side to my food pallet as been opened! Thank you Mediterranean Kebab!

My wife and I are beyond obsessed with this restaurant. It’s our new go to spot and we are obsessed with the grub. First and foremost, the service. It’s fantastic! The folks that work here are on top of things and do a really good job of helping us understand the menu items. I know I can’t possibly be the only dude who stares up at the menu with question marks dancing in my head. When I have questions, I feel embarrassed asking, but I also feel the adventure taking place on my taste buds. Falafel is an item I have always wanted to try but never really had the chance. I had it at a spot featured on Triple D and it was not a good experience. At this spot, it’s pretty awesome and the kid in me gets giddy asking the lady for some falafel balls. Chicken Gyros plate is our new ab fab go to entrée. Super tasty, well seasoned, moist chicken and easily one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. Lamb & Beef Gyros is an excellent runner up and the lamb is not too gamey. I know that’s an issue for non lamb fans. The spicy hot sauce is a thing of beauty. Excellent addition to the well seasoned meats and pretty addictive. Overall this is a truly excellent place to dine and I am hopeful that we don’t wear it down because that’s typically how we roll. Open til 10 on B Game Ave should add another star to this spot as well.

It’s better than the ones in the City, and better than Daphne’s. Located in downtown Burlingame among the many options of restaurant to choose from, you have the option of take-out or dine-in, and they have even have tables by the sidewalk as they are very dog-friendly. In fact, most of the establishments in downtown Burlingame are dog-friendly. We’ve been here on a couple of occasions now and the food is solid. It’s not fine dining and it ain’t fast food, either. However, it’s food served fast. Aha… there is a difference. So as you may have already known, I am a lamb guy. If they have lamb on the menu 99% of the time I am ordering that lamb dish. The menu is simple and compact. They have appetizers, salad, wraps, plates, sides, pastry and desserts. Protein options are lamb, beef, chicken and some type of fish and prawns. If you’re on the go and want some good food fast, then this is the place for you. If you want a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, this is also the place for you. If you have dogs, grab a table outside and… you get the picture. I’ve done all three and I can’t complain much about their food. And if you’re in the mood for desserts, I would recommend the Rice Pudding. It comes in a bowl that is seared on top creating a layer of crust and a nice contrast of crispy exterior to the creamy pudding. Prices are mostly under $ 10 and the most expensive item is priced at $ 15.95. Definitely a good value and they also cater. A solid 3 ½ rating.

Good food in a casual friendly environment. It’s a shame it took me until I moved away from the area to come and have Lunch here as I really enjoyed the food on my visit. Dining is casual where you order at the register and they bring the food to your table. Both myself and my Lunch date had the Chicken Kebab — $ 11.95( ) which also came with fresh Bread( ). Th portion was ample and tasty. The Chicken had great seasoning and nice crispy char on the outside yet juicy inside. The fresh Salad and pickled Beets was enjoyable but the Bread was sadly a little on the hard and dry side, almost like it had been warmed in the microwave. The staff are really friendly and I chatted with one of the servers for some time while I was waiting for my companion. Will definitely return on one of my many visits back to the area.
