evening dinner for a big group. menu above, counter order, pay and take a number stand for food delivery to self-seating tables… chilly evening, but side patio covered and heat lamps warming… large communal table between inside and outside patio… half people seated inside and other half seated outside patio… finding triple saucing at the table… verde, sayulita and diablo(mild to ultra spicy)…sayulita the favorite… atmosphere is chill and family friendly. mix crowd of all ages… food delivery can take about 10 minutes after ordering(busy evening)…diablo shrimp is super spicy. diablo shrimp salad seems even more insanely spicy while the nacho version is little more manageable… might be best to let customers add the diablo sauce to their shrimp if that is their preference instead of having the shrimp drowning in that fire sauce… carne asada was oddly diced steak bits sprinkled over tacos or nachos… overcooked dry beef cut to tiny pieces… quesadillas were simple and nothing special… fish tacos were the battered fried kind and small… nachos were pretty small portioned for standard and would require few upgrades to make it substantial. make the price substantial too… cheese is a liquid ooze that never hardens… few chips, cheesy ooze and meat topping for $ 12 nachos…“super” for extra $ 2…$ 5 guac, $ 2.50 rice and $ 2.50 beans…$ 9 for 3 small tacos…$ 10 for a simple quesadilla…$ 12 for a salad… for a «nachoria» nothing really stood out except for the hefty price tags on everything…

Wanted to really like this place but it falls flat. Went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was fairly empty. We ordered the tacos(carne asada & fish), chicken quesadilla and the nachos supreme. The fish tasted like pure grease. I took the fish and blotted it with a napkin and it completely soaked two entire napkins. The beef was dry like jerky texture, dry. The chicken was no better. It was so tough like it was over microwaved leftovers. Nachos were fresh but again dry meat. If you’re gonna be a made to order joint, don’t cheap out on the quality of meats especially if you’re charging so much. And if you’re going to call yourself a Nachoria, how about a little bit more creativity on the nacho selection? I would say it’s a sad selection but there’s only two: nachos and nachos supreme.

The service is great and it’s a shiny fun place to hang out. The nachos were good and huge but I was disappointed that for $ 12 it didn’t just come with guac, pico and sour cream. Shared between two people, there was plenty and it got pretty heavy. We didn’t finish. Liked the clean lively setting and the outdoor seating. I was expecting more TV screens for a sports bar. Quiet on a Sunday.

I’m writing this review with the hope that those managing Nachoria will take notice and make the necessary improvements for success. I was really excited when I discovered Nachoria but none of my expectations were met. I assumed by the name that they specialized in Nachos. I imagined a creative menu of specialized nachos like Korean Nachos, Vegan Nachos, Meat Lovers Nachos, Mediterranean Nachos, Curry Nachos… etc. Nope! Instead I discovered only one type of nachos with a choice of meat and the liquid plastic cheese that you find at 7 Eleven at twice the price of other local Mexican restaurants.

Recently we went to the restaurant and waited in line to get in. Then we luckily found a table because the place was quite full. The food took a long time to reach us and it did not live up to expectations. There was very little put on top of the tortilla chips. Not worth the price!

3.5STARS If you’re going to have«Nacho» in your restaurant name, your nachos better be the sh*t — not your basic b*tch nachos. Nachoria’s menu is short and simple. Choose from Nachos($ 12), Tacos(3 for $ 9), Quesadilla($ 10), or a Salad($ 12) and pick your protein: pollo, carne asada, carintas, diablo shrimp(+$ 3), fish(+$ 2 for tacos only), ceviche(+$ 3), or vegetarian. Make it «super»(pico de gallo, sour cream & guac) for +$ 2. Disappointing that there’s only one nacho option for a «Nachoria» — where’s the creativity? Hard liquor, beer, and wine available. There’s no waiter service. Order at the counter and grab a number. My friend and I ordered the namesake Nachos and a Quesadilla to share: . With 2 canned sodas + tip, our total was over $ 42!!! Beware, you may be charged more than what’s stated on the menu. It’s not specified on the menu but it looks like we were charged +$ 2(2x) for meat. WTF? I don’t mind paying extra but please specify on the menu that base prices are vegetarian and if you want meat, it’s extra $. *Super Pollo Asada Quesadilla($ 14): The flour tortilla was griddled until it was crunchy on the outside and the interior was all melty. There was a good amount of cheese and tender pieces of pollo but nothing special(especially for the price). They give you a lot of pico de gallo, sour cream, and guac so it’s worth the $ 2 upgrade for«super». *Super Carne Asada Nachos($ 16): Aside from their thick and crunchy chips, this was your basic b*tch nachos. The cheese sauce was hella sad — runny AND bland. Reminded me of watered down Velveeta queso blanco. For a «nachoria», the cheese sauce should be creamy, cheesy, and on-point. It should want make me want to lick my fingers clean. There was so much runny cheese sauce, I wanted to scrap it off the chips(quickly became soggy). The carne asada, though too minced up had good flavor and char. Tater Tot had one piece and approved. No salsa bar but the bottled salsas were surprisingly good: . The Sayulita(medium) salsa was my fav, it was robust and creamy with a good amount of heat. The diablo was muy caliente! It really creeps up on you and before you know it, your mouth is on fire! Service was fast and even though there’s no waiter service, the staff does check in with you, Nice touch. I really liked the hip ambiance with flat screen TVs and enclosed outdoor patio that was dog-friendly(we had to carry in our pups to get to the enclosed outdoor patio). Rounding down for the prices that are too high to begin with and surcharges not being transparent on the menu. I’ve overpaid for some crazy things(i.e. $ 18 cocktails, $ 25 burger, $ 25 for 2 pieces of uni) but it was worth it. Paying $ 16 for basic b*tch nachos and $ 14 for a standard quesadilla is batsh*t crazy(and I’m batsh*t crazy for paying this much)!

This place is exactly what downtown Burlingame was missing. La Corneta has better Mexican food, but this isn’t trying to be that. This is a place where you get a bunch of Coronas and sit around with your friends and share plates of nachos and tiny tacos. The cheese sauce on the nachos is perfection. Staff is friendly and they stay out of the way. Very comfortable place, nice and loud. I felt like I got to go to a bar but take my kids along. The kids were able to head to Powells down the street and bring back candy bars, which was brilliant. The only thing I didn’t like were the tiny bait-looking shrimp that they used for the tacos. I guess I expected prawns, not the shrimp you get in shrimp fried rice. We’ll definitely be back!

Atmosphere: cool looking and fresh décor, festive Mexican-contemporary décor, located off Burlingame ave on Lorton, away from the traffic. Good for families, groups, or few friends. Outdoor patio that’s covered. Service: friendly and attentive. Server was friendly and had no problem explaining the menu or how things work there. Empty dishes and bottles quickly collected. Quick service as well. Food: this is where the venue loses points for me. The concept is similar to a chipotle for nachos, but also offers tacos, quesadillas. There was no creativity in the menu, very straightforward, and priced high… a bit blah for what you pay. My suggestion is perhaps creating signature Nacho creating that is special to Nachoria. With a name like that, there needs to be a menu that matches, menu items that can’t be found anywhere else in the surrounding area. The nachos were ok, but I was expecting something outside of the box. The ceviche as well lacked the fresh zingy pizazz. Also, there is no HH, but the venue does offer 6 beers for $ 24 and has a few signature cocktails. They offer beer, wine, a margarita machine and vodka. Cool idea for Burlingame, but more creativity and more flavor would make this venue jumping!

A newly opened restaurant that serves alcohol and nachos — who can resist! The place is almost-usually-always packed with lines out the door and seats taken up from left to right. I decided to try a variety of items on their menu during each visit because… why not. A bit on the pricer side, but it’s only because they give you enormous portion sizes! My favorites would have to be the chicken nachos(super or not) and fish tacos. I tried the carne asada nachos during my first experience here, but found that the chicken nachos were much more enjoyable to me personally. Nachoria also provides a variety of sauces at every table, which are appealing to your preference and spice level. Also be aware of diablo shrimp(tacos or nachos) because they are EXTREMELY spicy. It was so spicy for my boyfriend who can always handle the heat. The drinks served here are good as well — the margaritas are strong! They have TVs in every direction, so if you are here to watch the game with your friends or to ignore the person you’re with, you can. The service is great as well. Although it can get really busy, especially during peak hours, the workers there are always so kind and apologize for the wait.

I really wanted to like this place. The food was ok, but the atmosphere killed it for us. Pretty sure we were the only couple without kids. There were screaming babies, football games next to the patio with a bunch of 6 – 10 years, and not enough staff on service to accommodate the long lines. We tried the nachos with chicken and 3 different types of quesadilla. Those were better than the nachos. I had the vodka lemonada swirl which was so tasty, but also so sour I couldn’t finish it. I liked the medium table salsa more than anything else there. Would maybe come back for lunch and try the tacos or if we have a ton of kids.

I LOVETHISPLACE!!! Only came 2 times but always try to order different things! Both times on a weekend so you could tell it was busy(plus there was a Warriors game) But staff was friendly and kept it cool even with a loong line and loud fans screaming! My food came in less than 10 minutes! Quesadillas perfectly done Cooked to perfection! and delicious, One order is very filling. I thought it wouldnt be enough but its really good portion size! Honestly has a great vibe, as im writting this im looking around, people seemed really happy and enjoying there food, From Families with kids, Even babies(oh yes they do have a kids menu) all the way to Group on friends drinking and eating, Sharing, Laughing, I mean I know everybody has an opinion but this place is seriously just magical. :) I am even thinking already in do my bday party here they also have a great outdoor area(covered and heated but still outdoor which is really nice for bigger parties. Ohhh and also, THEMUSIC! i am from southamerica so of course I understand that this for me has a different meaning. lots of nice latin inspired music but even if you are not familiar with the singers just has a nice atmosphere!

I’ve always had a love affair with nachos. After a beach vacation, the first thing I indulge in is a plate full of nachos. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out, I counted down the days until I could start eating crunchy foods again, and nachos were one of the first things I ate(ok I admit, I cheated and started eating it sooner than I should have, causing bits of the tortilla chips to get stuck in my surgery site). My coworker and I came to Nachoria around 12:30 on a Tuesday. No one was in line, there were a few tables occupied. We ordered(carne asada super nachos for me, salad with diablo shrimp for my coworker), the food was brought to us rather quickly, and we dug in. Before I get into the nitty gritty: 1) «Super» nachos are an additional $ 2 and come with generous scoops of sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Highly recommend this. 2) Diablo shrimp is SPICYASALLHELL. My mouth immediately burst into flames, and my coworker’s eyes started watering as she ate the salad. We ended up having to get yogurt afterwards for the fire to subside. The cheese sauce is delicious. It doesn’t look or taste like that fake cheese stuff you can get from the ballpark(don’t get me wrong, I like those just as much). They add roasted peppers and caramelized onions for a unique taste. The carne asada was juicy and fresh. I basically ate almost the whole plate, and it was a HUGE order, though it’s not large enough for two hungry people to share. Probably some of the best nachos I’ve had in a long time, and despite feeling super dehydrated from all the saltiness the rest of the day, totally worth it. I’d even make the trip down from SF to eat this, and that’s saying a lot.

Don’t believe the hype… A few things: 1. we waited an hour for our food, 2 items 2. there was just about NO meat on our $ 12 nachos, that’s atrocious 3. the seating is ridiculous, get it together 4. there is NO staff here 5. there IS a proper way to run a restaurant, get it together 6. maximize your space and things will run much smoother, trust me 7. when you deliver food to the table, CLEARTHENUMBERS! that’s just to name a FEW. The quality of the food is OK, nothing to write home about. The fact that I paid $ 12 to just get chips drowning in a white cheese was very disappointing. I was looking forward to some quality steak — what a bummer. The fact that I stood around for 35 minutes, made me loose my appetite — it did NOT whet my appetite. Sitting at a table after having finished a beer, not having anyone offer another beer, and then waiting another 25 minutes to get my food killed my buzz, pissed me off and just ruined the entire experience. The little staff that is working here is stressed out, pissed off and it kills the vibe. There was no music and the energy was off. Again, everything here is wrong. Take your money and your business elsewhere. There are SOMANYOTHER high quality eateries in this area and the areas surrounding this place. I understand that people are trying to build empires with gyms(basecamp/dethrome) and now nachoRIA’s, but honestly, get one business right before jumping to the next… It’s just frustrating, to say the least.

I saw this place on Unilocal and my co workers mentioned it so we decided to give it a try since we’re just a walking distance away. The quality of the food was okay. The carne asada was overlooked and not fresh. However the toppings were abundant. I appreciated that there were toppings on the bottom of my nachos as well. I got the super nachos with carne asada, Mexican Coke, and a margarita. Everything came out to about $ 30 excluding tip. I don’t have much to say about this place other than it being pricey, also there wasn’t anything on the menu that«wow’d» me. It was okay for lack of a better term. I guess I expected more out of this place and I was disappointed. Our server and other waiters on the other hand were obviously overwhelmed by the amount of people coming in. They kept apologizing for everything, mostly for waiting. I felt sorry for them and I suggest they hire more staff before they faint from exhaustion. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back based on how pricey everything is but who knows.

A few nights ago, I saw an article about this place on a social media site. I read it and thought the concept was really cool. Luckily for me, my schedule was free the following day, so a friend of mine and I decided to hit up this place. We got there around noon and I’d say there were at least 10 others in the restaurant. Upon walking in, automatically, the atmosphere gave off a relaxed and fun vibe. The guy working at the counter was very upbeat, easy to talk to, and made our first experience really welcoming. My friend and I both ordered the same dish, carne asada nachos, but with one minus the red peppers. The servings are huge! Two people could definitely share one order… But I’m sure after a few bites you’ll want your own plate! The meat was cooked to perfection, it came with the right amount of sour cream and guacamole, while still warm and fresh, the cheese sauce is to die for! And the best part… You can tell the chips are freshly made. I’ve had my share of nachos at Taquerias, parties, etc., but this was the most delicious dish of nachos I’ve ever had hands-down. We definitely plan on going back to sample their Pollo Asada and possibly the veggies(unfortunately, I can’t try the shrimp option due to allergies). They offer a wide array of beverages alcoholic and nonalcoholic. I like that they offer water in a glass-bottle served with glasses, it adds a nice touch. Within a half hour of being there, the entire restaurant was packed! This is a great place for adults and kids to come to enjoy some nachos! It’s clean, spacious, has an outdoor patio so the entire place doesn’t feel too crowded or stuffy. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive as well. I can’t forget to mention the restroom… I only speak for the women’s restroom; it was super clean! Definitely an important highlight since you’re mainly eating with your hands. I wish they offered a sampler dish… That would be amazing. I definitely plan on coming back to try something new. This is a five star review all the way, but the only two downfalls are: parking — you really have to circle the block a few times to fine a space, and second, their main sign that hangs outside underneath an awning is kind of hard to see when you drive-by the first time.

First negative review ever… usually I just let places that suck fail on their own, this has so much potential it is a shame. Service — Sub-par at best. The staff clearly isn’t trained yet and weren’t familiar with what they were offering on the menu. The manager was friendly and stopped by the table before we left, wasn’t about to give him my laundry list of things that needed to be fixed. 2⁄5 Food — Got the nachos, it is called Nachoria after all. As another reviewer said, shouldn’t you have the best nachos in the world? Chips were ok, chicken was mediocre, grilled veggies blah, guacamole decent, salsa was standard, but the quintessential part of nachos, the cheese… absolutely horrible. I am sure some other people might love it, but the gf and I couldn’t take more than a few bites without both agreeing the runny white cheese sauce was disgusting and off putting(I’m picky, she is not). «Cheese sauce» should at least taste like, oh I don’t… cheese. $ 14 dollars for arguably the worst nachos I’ve ever had in my life? I’ll go around the corner next time I have a craving. 1⁄5 Drinks — Wish I could say. They were sold out of margarita mix and had no idea how long before they would be back. ?/5 Décor — Not bad, nothing special. Could have had a better theme, my personal opinion. 3.5÷5 Overall — Would be a great place to hang out and grab great margaritas and amazing nachos. Too bad they did not provide either. Maybe it deserves a second chance, but if you are going to name your place Nachoria and charge a premium for nachos, be the BEST! There are numerous places that offer amazing Mexican food for reasonable prices, one within walking distance. 2⁄5 Was really hoping for awesome, all we got was meh…

I’m pretty disappointed :(Was so excited about this place but: –Cheese sauce on the nachos? Not real cheese? I mean, «proprietary version of velveeta» is just that. –Carne asada overcooked and not fresh –Salsa in squeeze bottles. Basically I will probably come back to watch a Warriors game, since its a good vibe for that. Next time I want nachos, I’ll go right past this place and to back to La Corneta.

*Restrains self from making a bunch of nacho puns* When I first read about Nachoria, I thought maybe it would have a Tacolicious vibe. It *kind of* does, but it’s a little more«restaurant» like and less bar-like. I had plans to meet a friend for dinner… she suggested Mexican, and I suggested Nachoria. It was a good choice! It’s a fun place to meet with friends. Kinda loud; shared plates; adult beverages(including palomas! and champagne!) if you’re so inclined. This being a NACHOria, of course we had to get the nachos. You can order the nachos with meat, but my friend is vegetarian so we got the vegetarian version, «Super» style with guac and pico de gallo. It was still EXTREMELY hearty. Notable are the cheese – NOT bright orange, but in fact kinda like a flavorful bechamel sauce – and the fact that the chips are pretty sturdy, so they don’t get smushy unless they’ve been sitting right next to the beans for a long time. Nachos not your thing? They do have some other dishes. I had the veggie tacos, which include some very delicious roasted corn. I also tried out a carnitas taco, and I liked that, too. If/when I return, I’d try more of these out. The salad sounds pretty great — I bet it’d be good with the pollo asado. But at this point, the menu is limited to nachos, tacos, quesadillas, and a salad. Don’t expect a full-on Mexican restaurant or taqueria experience. On its own, the food is not terribly spicy. But the salsas on the table ARE. If spice is not your thing, go with the verde. If, on the other hand, you like spice, go for the«blue» or «red.» When I went in, there were TONS of kids(and in fact, there were kids in my party, too). So the kids menu will get a lot of play here. $ 8 entrees that include a drink — good deal, considering the kind of place this is. My friend ordered the quesadilla and the nachos for them. The kids loved the quesadilla, but they thought the nachos were kind of plain(and I can see that… the only topping appeared to be cheese). If your kids are«plain eaters,» this is good, but if they like to be a little adventurous, you might just go ahead and order off the regular menu, or order a side of guacamole or beans to make it a bit more substantial. . Verdict? Would definitely return. I think it’s a good place to order food to share while watching sports, too. With the«big game» coming up, it could be a good option if you’re at home with a small group of friends.

In short, this place is awesome. Simple menu, and can’t go wrong with anything. The nachos are HUGE and delicious, perfect to share. Tacos are street taco style, simple ingredients and really tasty. I’ve had the chicken and shrimp tacos. Both are good, and shrimp tacos are really spicy, which I loved. Liquor license is still being finalized, and when it is this will be a great spot for beers and margaritas. They have a great half indoor, half outdoor bar with a happy hour vibe. Lots of cool artwork and décor, feels like you want a nacho and taco shop to feel. The staff is down to earth and friendly, and the location is perfect. Just enough off the beaten path in Burlingame to be both a local and trendy spot. If you’re looking for a good meal and a mellow fun night in Burlingame, go here.

Nacho is patient, Nacho is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Nacho does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ~ a reading from Cor(n chip) inthians 13:4−8 I don’t know if I’d call myself a religious person but I do use the lord’s name in vain like 938934724894 times a day, so in a way it’s like I’m spreading the gospel. After all these years of my prayers going unanswered, I was just about to lose faith when one day I woke up to find my inbox flooded with the holiest of news: A bonafide nachoria was opening up in my ‘hood! #Blessed Okay, okay… not exactly my ‘hood. I’m not that ble$$ed but it is within driving distance and on my commute to and from work so I’ll take it. Good things come to those who love nachos. Going in I was both nervous and excited. Excited for nachos, obviously, but nervous because what if they didn’t live up to the hype. When it comes to nachos I have a pretty refined palate but at the same time I will eat just about any and every nacho no matter its sometimes questionable origins because I’m only human and even if they aren’t great I’m not gonna just waste a nacho like some sort heathen… c’mon. Lucky for me, these nachos were legit heavenly. I got the vegetarian nachos — House fried corn tortilla chips with their special homemade cheese sauce, fire roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, green onions and queso fresco, and then I made them«super» for $ 2 so they would also include guacamole, sour cream, and fresh pico de gallo. The grand total with the super upgrade made it $ 14 plate of nachos, but it was plate that was sizable enough to easily be an entire dinner for two adults. Inside is refreshingly trendy(sorry, Silicon Valley… you’re ahead of the game in technology but in style you’d sadly still be considered pretty 2000 and late). Great wall art, perfect and spacious layout, an enclosed patio, really friendly staff… not much else I could ask for really. Well, except for maybe and horchata and alcohol but they’ll soon be serving beer and classic Mexican cocktails so stay tuned, I guess. In addition to the nachos they also serve tacos and a salad. It’s a basic menu in terms of number of base items but it’s perfectly niche and delivers on flavor, quality, and portion. On the table we were served water to go along with the Mexican Squirt and complimentary chili lime jicama, carrot, cucumber sticks that I could eat forever and while everything was exceptional I feel like it’d be a sin to not mention the best Tres Leches cake(and ice cream) I’ve had since I left Chicago. Praise cheeses, is all I’ve got left to say.
