Definitely an interesting plot of land for a park. To get to it you have to drive through a bunch of hotels and tech industrial buildings. You get to see the bay through this mini pier and there’s a cool lagoon behind you. Not as good as the nearby bayside park for watching the planes at SFO but still nice for an outing on a sunny day

At first, this park seems like its nothing much… set amidst a bunch of hotels and commercial buildings along the airport corridor. However, go there, and you’ll see why this place is a wondrous hidden gem. On one side, is the ENTIRE bay and on a clear day you can see from San Francisco across to the Oakland Hills. On the other side, is a beautiful lagoon replete with cranes, ducks, and wildlife amidst the wildflowers and reeds growing along the shore. In the middle is a very large circle of grass surrounded by weeping willows: lovely! It’s just a big circle of green and blue water, and then more green leaves in the sunlight and blue sky. This is my favorite place on the weekends to go with my dog, get my zen on: and then take a walk which inevitably lets life’s little issues slip away.
