If it were not for the wonderful view, we would not go back. The food was marginal, a B-/C+. We expected outstanding food based on the reviews and it wasn’t even close. The desserts were better than the entrees. The service was fine. Two other things that disappointed us was their lack of attention to the patio dining space… it was dirty, ugly, and looked like they just tossed a few tables and chairs outside. With the spectacular views and our wonderful weather; they should make their outside dining area magnificent and welcoming. Last, the back of the building(if you take stroll along the Bay Trail) looks and smells like a garbage dumpster. Kincaids has so much unrealized potential, such a shame.

Used to take clients there and now if we are returning to the East Bay from SFO anytime close to mealtime, we stop for a meal to hasten the foreign/airplane food we had been eating through our system. Love the view, never had a bad meal, never had to wait too long to be seated. We are finally home…

We have been to Kincaid’s twice now and ordered their amazing crab and artichoke both visits. Their portions are generous, and service is attentive. My only complaint is the burnt steak in our sliders when we specifically told them medium rare. That is all. Thanks for reading.

Cutty little spot for the romantic get a girl swoop-a-away! The location it self says it all. Pricey tourist trap. Food is mediocre, my wife can make a better steak then they can. Although customer service and ambience is on point. Beautiful view of the planes taking off and landing. Just a great little restaurant in Burlinggame tucked away in the bay! I’d go there for the bar next time!

Very nostalgic restaurant with wonderful views. I ordered the wedge salad and New York Steak. Salad was fantastic. Steak was slightly over cooked and more pepper than I personally like. My group ordered a nice bottle of Zin that wasn’t in stock. Quite unfortunate. We had to settle for a much cheaper bottle.

Really good. Seafood is fresh and prepared in a clean, simple way that let’s the taste of the seafood shine. Also, loved the mixed green salad with the yummy pickled vegatables and cream cheese filled rolls. Excellent drinks as well.

Oh MY Gosh, I just love this place. I was here about 25 years ago and loved their crab cakes delicious… I went back to celebrate my graduation and ordered their crab cakes and they are even better now they melt in your mouth. My husband ordered their meatloaf and I was a bit upset at him for ordering meatloaf when he could order so many other delicious plates they have but when I tried it I had to order another one to go. You can’t go wrong in this place we sat where we could see the coast and the sail boats in it, it was beautiful.

We went for dinner last night. Told the waiter we wanted to relax and enjoy dinner but we were rushed to order. We had ordered an appetizer and said we’d order dinner after we finished, he insisted if we just ordered he’d wait to turn it into the kitchen and that it would take 15 minutes after he placed it anyways! 5 minutes after we finished the appetizer dinner arrived. Had ordered a glass of wine to have with dinner but that arrived well into the meal. Very frustrating! My martini was not chilled well, and dinner was served room temperature. There are too many great restaurants in Burlingame to put up with this! Dinner for two with a couple of drinks was $ 200.00

I came here yesterday for happy hour with my mom. No one greeted us when we walked in and everyone seemed too busy to notice we walked in, so we just headed to the outside patio. We sat for about 2 minutes when a waiter walked out and asked if anyone had been by. We said no, and he introduced himself as Billy and said he would be our waiter. We ordered the crab artichoke dip and a cranberry mojito. I was skeptical about the cranberry mojito because I’ve only had the mango and the tropical one. However, he recommended it, and it ended up being tasty. It was decently sweet too. Our food came in a decent amount of time, and it was tasty as usual. We ended up ordering another crab artichoke dip, which was delicious of course. Billy checked on us a couple times to make sure everything was okay. He was a good waiter. Definitely would come back.

1. Chicken pesto pasta was actually good! 2. Prime rib was less than mediocre. 3. Calamari was chewy 4. Crab artichoke was delicious. Please note* you’re paying for the tourist view and NOT the quality of food. Be advised to expect a high cost bill for mediocre food. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to my friends. Service was ok.

I’ll have to try it next trip. It’s within walking distance of both the Embassy Suites and the Hilton. But it closed early on Sunday. 3 Day weekend caught me off guard. It sure looked like a great restaurant. To be continued–

Donot ever go for Mother’s Day brunch. Took 45 minutes to our food. Mimosa was 80% OJ for $ 9.00. That was a joke I had eggs bene, English muffin wasn’t even toasted it was raw, I had hard boiled eggs on my muffins. Everybody else’s dish was either dry or tasteless mess.

The staff at Kincaids was very accommodating for my special occasion. I decided to have my wedding luncheon here but we wouldn’t be able to arrive until close to 2:30 which is when they close for lunch. The manager at Kincaids gave me the email of their coordinator and said they would still be able to accommodate my party of 10. I got in touch with Joanne who was really great. We were emailing back and forth and she was always quick to respond. On the day of the luncheon, they had set up a table for my party in the perfect spot. It felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant or that it was a private room. The service was great the food was amazing. We ordered calamari, the sampler, and the shrimp for appetizers. So good! The chef also allowed us to order some items off the dinner menu(something I had asked Joanne prior to the event) which was really nice of them. I had the ravioli with short ribs. The best ravioli dish I’ve ever had. Even my husband liked my dish over his lol. We had a great view during lunch looking out into the ocean. It was just an overall amazing experience and that’s all because of Joanne and the staff at Kincaids. I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion!

My bougie friend told me about this place. I wanted to be bougie too, so I tried it out. It’s a fancy restaurant, so I expected the plates to be small with lots of presentation and very little flavor. To my surprise, all the dishes were decent sized with(somewhat) a lot of flavor. I started off with the oven roasted crab and artichoke dip appetizer, which I highly recommend to everyone. I ordered the pan seared alaskan salmon for my main dish, which was just average. I was a little disappointed considering the price of the dish. Next time, I would just order the crab and artichoke dip and feast on that. I came back a second time during happy hour because I wanted to be bougie again but didn’t have the funds for the main room(the irony, I know). The bar area was still very nice and they had a lot of the appetizers for a discounted price. I tried the oysters rockefeller. It came with 6 – 7 oysters and they were delicious! A must try. Happy hour is daily 4pm-6pm.

Man this food is really good, Definitively 5 star status. Even my farts felt five star. The bread was probably the most delicious I“ve had recently. The baby back ribs were soo good, oh man and it came with the best macaroni and cheese ever. Even the water here is five star status. The stuffed chicken is really good too, very mouthwatering. I loved the mashed potatoes it comes with yum. The service was excellent as always, everyone here is always so helpful. The bathrooms are always very clean too. I spent some quality time in there.

The drive to the restaurant is one not to be missed at sunset. He views are breathtaking. Private parking lot. If you make reservations, I would suggest close to but not next to the window. The window seats do get a chill. The service when we went last Friday was decent not the best but our waitress was overwhelmed with other parties. Questions were answered about the food and preparation very. Very precisely. This is a place to go to enjoy the views watch the airplanes take off and land. Have a very tasty dinner and a glass of wine. Well worth your time. Thinking of coming back sooner than later.

OK, just to be clear, I did NOT eat here, just drank — buy oh boy — in that regard it was perfection! How many cool, out of the way, old school bars have the BEST scotches, BEST whiskeys’ by the shot? Really, this place has a ladder for the bartenders so they can climb oty get you your fave. Unassuming, which I love — the service was«busy» although there were very few customers at 930 on a Wednesday night — and ugh, the person next to me at the bar had some nasty, garlicy fish dish — but other than THAT it was nearly perfect!

Pathetic service. Walk out. Wait staff is so rude they are not even worth dealing with. It’s generic food in a generic setting with a wait staff that is brazenly arrogant and self serving. If you go there definitely don’t go for the food or service, you will be disappointed. RUNFORYOURLIFEFROMTHISPLACE.

We went to Kincaid’s for happy hour and really enjoyed it! The service was great! The ambiance was really nice! My friend ordered a beer and I ordered a basil gimlet which was great! We decided to share the French dip Sliders, the Manila clams, and the crab and artichoke dip. All were delicious! Later my friends joined and order the buffalo wings. HUGE portion for a happy hour order! And so tasty! I saw the calamari pass by us and I definitely will order that next! The restaurant is in the bay and has beautiful views and great food! Definitely worth checking out.

I have come here many times over the last 20+ years and the quality of food has remained consistent, even improved! They have a great happy hour(4−6pm) with discounted cocktails and appetizers. Plus the awesome view of the planes landing and taking off from SFO. If the view isn’t for you, Kincaid’s also has TV’s in the the bar/lounge area with the sports games on. The dining room is nicely appointed with great views of the bay and airport. It consists of stand alone tables and booths. I like to start with an appetizer of calamari or half a dozen fresh oysters. Sometimes a nice wedge salad. I usually order the rock salt prime rib, the filet mignon, the lobster or the fish special. They have all been great, every time. The desserts are all excellent and the view is spectacular. The service is always awesome with very attentive, helpful service. I’d highly recommend Kincaid’s to anyone in the area.

What a great place for happy hour. I met with some girl friends here on a Tuesday night. First of all, this restaurant isn’t the easiest to find. I must’ve taken 10 turns until I finally arrived here from the freeway. I could also be exaggerating because many of those turns could include me getting helplessly lost. Hey it was raining, dark, and I’ve never been here. So heads up if it’s your first time heading here, probably look at the map overview to actually get a sense of where you’re going to avoid getting lost. They have a private lot so that made it convenient. Around 6pm it was already half full. When we left around 7:30 it was full. I helped myself to some Prosecco here because that’s all I drink these days. As a group we ordered sweet potato fries, some teriyaki tender somethings, and a macadamia nut crusted Brie. I guess the food was unique. I am allergic to seafood but for a place known for seafood this restaurant offered quite a bit of options for someone like me who’s allergic to shellfish. They have a bar that we stayed at but the dining area itself seemed pretty nice. A lot of people getting off of work around the area seemed to be the usual customer. For dinner I ordered a Cajun chicken fettuccine. It was spicy and was a creole-like dish sausages. For some reason the chicken was pretty hard. The pasta flavor was quite good. I would come here again! Maybe not during rush hour on a weekday. My least favorite experience with this place was actually trying to get here… very long and painful. It’s also near surrounding airport hotels so would be a great dinner for someone just passing through SF or staying at the airport hotels. The restaurant offers a great view and must be gorgeous during the day. Can’t give this place a 5 just because of location… tucked way way out of the way.

Always a good experience at Kincaid’s. They are famous for the Rock Salt Roasted Prime Rib, and the Maytag Blue Cheese Salad. There are nice open windows with the view of planes coming into SF airport every minute and is fun to watch. Get there early as the place fills up by 6pm and reservations are a must. There are two prices for the prime rib, $ 36 and $ 40. No reason to get the small cit, get the larger cut and take the rest home if you can’t eat it all. We usually split a Maytag Blue cheese salad and that is just about right. Appetizers are nice, we usually get the sampler platter, which has a nice variety, but is a little on the expensive side for what you get. We have been here several times and have always gotten top notch service despite the place being cracking busy all the time. A good sign is that the staff remains the same for several years, and does not have much turnover, so this must be a nice place to work to retain employees.

I’m a regular diner, with a membership card. Last night was my Christmas dinner with my brother and it was disappointing. The chef ruined our lobster by putting cayenne pepper and garlic on it. After that bite, I couldn’t taste the truffle smoked mushrooms on my cold but rare steak. This is usually our favorite place, but service last night was minimal. My reservations put us as last for the night, but that shouldn’t mean we get ignored. We waited for someone to ask how our food was, but no one came. When the waitress finally was flagged, she put in a new order to replace my lobster. Yes we tipped her 20%. My brother ate my garlic pepper one and didn’t complain– but he won’t come back here now thanks :/ Our drinks were finished at the beginning of the meal, but we were not offered water or another round.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the overpriced food and with the lack of service from the server. I had the MahiMahi, which was overcooked and dry. The squash was just ok. My husband had the scallops and they were just average. Didn’t like the veggies or potato. Neither dish was worth what they charge. The best part of the meal was the onion soup. As far as the server goes, he has no personality. Learn to smile a little and be nice. The manager and hostess were very nice. The ambiance was incredible. Beautiful views of the bay. But we will not be going back.

If you want authentic old fashioned American food, this is the place. We went there on a weekend night, not too busy. Reservation is highly recommend because the place could get really crowded. The staff were very friendly and service was excellent. We came with 2 young children and the staff took good care of them, giving them crayons to color and compliment on their food order :) The cocktail is pretty strong, just the way I like. I had bbq ribs with mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. Very large portion, I had the leftover for lunch the next day. I heard the view is good but since we went there for dinner, we couldn’t really see anything. I think the interior could use a little updates. It’s nice style but seemed old. I would recommend anyone to go there for dates, family gathering or just a casual meal.

This Kincaid’s is by far the best one I’ve visited. We did have a hiccup with the service, the waiter took about 10 minutes before he approached the table to even greet us. By this time I counted the waiter next to us visiting a table 3 times during the time we hadn’t even seen our waiter. Jason(another waiter that wasn’t assigned this table) was quick to jump in when he realized we were waiting so long but then our waiter showed up suddenly. He said he was dealing with a car break in issue. Service was slightly below expected for such a nice restaurant but not a game breaker in this case. Other than that, food is excellent! Lots of flavor and fresh seafood is amazing! The complimentary garlic bread is always a nice treat. They have a wide variety of alcohol for those that want a drink. The manager was amazing, very friendly and dressed stunning! Great representation of the company. Despite going on a Friday night we didn’t have to wait at all for a table the host was quick with keeping the flow moving. This location by far exceeds my experiences I have at the one in Redondo Beach. 4 – 5 stars for food 3 stars for service

The view from this restaurant is so nice — giant windows let you see across the bay to San Francisco and even Oakland. The service is good and the bread is topped with melted garlic butter. I recently had the steak and crab sliders, which was perfect. The steak was extremely tender and flavorful, making for easy bites of the sliders.

Let me start off by saying that the bread was amazing here. For appetizers, we split the mussels, loaded oysters and salmon. The mussels came with a pretty tasty sauce, save the bread to dip. The oysters were good but tiny. And I always love me some salmon. For our main course, my brother and I split the crab cakes and the prime rib. The prime rib was good– great large slice with plenty of fat and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes it came with was delicious too. The crab cake was a major fail. DONOTORDER. It was small, hard, the filler wasn’t tasty, and instead of using lumps of crab meat, it was shredded into small pieces. By far the worst crab cake I have ever had. We went with the bread pudding and ice cream for dessert. Excellent choice to go with.

Kincaid’s is always the«go-to» place when I am in town for work since it is conveniently located next to my hotel and the food is amazing! I had to update my review because the dishes we tried this time around were oh so tasty. Starter artichoke dip and Clams… The clams are a must try, suggested by our waiter, I’m salivating typing this! Main course my friend ordered the New York steak with lobster, he seemed well satisfied with it. I ordered the Mushroom ravioli in cream sauce with short ribs… my new fav.

Came here for the first time and was skeptical just because I’m unsure of any new restaurant that I haven’t heard of, to see if their food was okay. We came with my mom’s coworker for lunch and were seated near the window which had a lovely view of the ocean. The menu had a lot of options but I’m a regular person who wants the chicken tenders and fries. I did not see that on the menu so I went with the fish and chips. Our server, Yvette was amazing! Catered to our needs and gave great recommendations(including my fish and chips). We were served garlic bread which was delish and killed it in a matter of minutes and Yvette gave us more lol As our entrees rolled in my sister and my moms coworker had the crab cakes and my mom had a chicken sandwich. My sister and I are foodies and looked at each other and were amazed by how the food was so freaking delicious! I’m sold, definitely coming back and this place has a full bar too! My friends live in San Bruno and they usually go to BJs and Jacks near the Tanforan Mall which I’m blah about because I’m bored with those restaurants, but I’m going to tell them to come here now lol

3.5 stars I had the shellfish fettuccini which was good — 4 stars My family ordered the braised short ribs but they weren’t that tender, just okay. The other dishes were just okay too. But the bread that they bring out in the beginning was good, I liked the sauce they had on it. For the price — I’ve had better. But it liked how it’s next the water, it’s a nice place for a date. The dish I ordered was good so I gave it 4 stars(plus the scenery). Sadly the rest of my family’s plates were just okay.

This restaurant is part of a chain that offers decent food What I like about this location of Kincaid’s is that it is on the bay and near the SF airport hotels The bar is well stocked with spirits but the wine list is lacking with better lower and moderate priced red wines The food was hit and miss this past visit The fresh bread was hot and tasty Maytag blue cheese salad was excellent Pea salad was excellent Steak burger was excellent The salmon with crab meat tasted funky. I can pin point it but not my favorite thing

Ahhhh, don’t tell anyone but this is the place that Miss Bad Idea Bear and I go to talk about our former coworkers and let off some steam. This has been our batcave for years, mainly because it’s out of the way, and you really have to know where you’re going to get here. We’ve spent the past 2 Thanksgivings here, and thought the menu has changed over the years, we still love the basics. The basics being their artichoke and crab dip. We have to get this dish every time. Also, their wedge salads are great, they come with chunks of bacon, egg, and a great vinaigrette dressing. As for their main dishes you can’t go wrong with their seared scallops, or their fish dishes. Why not 5 stars? Because the service is hit or miss. We’ve had instances where the waiter was MIA, and other times when the staff was spot on. Great little hideaway in Burlingame to get away from it all, and a great view of the bay.
