I’ve been going to Dr Elliston for several years now and have always been pleased with no only him but his entire support staff. Many of his patients have very serious eyes issues and I am not surprised to see all the praise he has received from the surgical community. I have glaucoma and feel my vision is in very safe hands.

I cannot say that Dr. Elliston is the best eye doc on the Peninsula — because I haven’t tried them all, but he’s a higher level surgeon than those at Dr. Cooper’s practice. There are some other very good specialists I’ve used at Retina Vitreous Associates(Mark Weiland, Luigi Borrillo, James Palmer). Dr. Elliston was recommended by my prior ophthamologist as the person she’d have do surgery on her family, so I saw him. He did a bang-up job for me, even gave me a video of the surgery. My eyes have never been better. His follow-up was impressive as well. In addition to being a Board Certified Ophthamologist, he’s like a friendly grandfather. He takes the time to explain what’s going on, and discuss all your concerns and questions. My only concern is that I’m going to outlast him, but then I’ll revisit the folks at Retina Vitreous.

Dr. Elliston is by far the best eye doc on the Peninsula. I was very upset a few years back when my insurance changed and I had to switch docs but luckily they now accept my insurance and I am back. Dr. Elliston is such a kind-hearted individual – he is always so nice! I am so glad I am back in his office!

As good as Dr. Lim — but has the bonus of being a very good Eye Surgeon. Dr. Ellston treated me with respect and has become my Dr. for times when San Jose or appointment time is too hard for Dr. Lim. Also, my family prefers him to Dr. Lim for the timing and long drive. To have two Dr. of this caliber to refer is more than many should hope for. He and his staff are fantastic — so feel free to use this Dr. too!
