Went to Bojangle’s for fried chicken after hearing so much about this regional chain from someone who lives in NC. The fried chicken was good, but the wait was too long(we waited about 15 minutes to get our food) when the line wasn’t even that bad. I feel like the sanitary of this place is somewhat meh(the soda station and how employees handled the orders such as chicken and scooping of side orders could be improved to make the food more palatable). Overall, I don’t mind eating here again, although there’s not much to rave about it.

I’m a health conscious guy who generally avoids fast food joints like the plague, but there is a definite soft spot in my heart for Bo’s. Growing up in Chapel Hill, the closest Bojangles to my house was about a half an hour away in Hillsborough(also one in Durham) so I didn’t really go there much. But since I’ve been at Elon, my roommates have got me hooked. On a Saturday morning I find myself jonesing for those delicious scratch made biscuits and perfectly spiced cajun chicken filets. Also, they serve breakfast all day. What’s not to like about that? Whenever we go(usually on the weekend for breakfast at noon) I have to get the cajun filet biscuit with egg, a side of mac and cheese and a sweet tea. My mouth is watering just writing this review… Bottom line: if you are a chicken and biscuits fan and you’re pressed for time, Bojangles is about as good as fast food can get. Just order up and enjoy Bo Time.
