Great pizza & salads. Vibe is a little loud for us senior citizens, but the food’s worth it. Try going when Elon University is on break. Things will be a lot quieter.

Overpriced. Pizza tastes great, but I don’t see how one pizza, one soda, and one cookie should cost $ 40.

Amazing pizza selection and fantastic service. Love the Thai chili pizza and you can’t beat $ 2 draft Tuesdays. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

One stars only because the pizzas crust was great.
We just moved to NC and heard a good things about mellow mushroom unfortunately we where very disappointed… The tables and floor where all sticky and grossly colored and the over all appearance was very rundown. We got our free cheesy bread with checkin and it was flavorless basically it tasted like white bleached toast with low quality mozzarella cheese melted on top.
The pizza was ok over all nothing special the crust was better then most though.
We ordered a large mighty meat and added jalapeños and black olives to half… Well our order was misunderstood and made half only with call opinions on black olives. The waitress apologized and said she would bring out a new one and said we could just keep this one. We set it aside not really wanting it. She later came back and said that they where going to make a new one with only mighty meat and the extra toppings but it would be a small since half of the large was correct…
Very poor call on the managers end. Our family waits until everyone has their food before we start eating. So another 15 min later goes by and half of us have hot pizza and the other half cold pizza. The portion sizes didn’t add up either yes the small has 4 slices and the large has 8 but the large has bigger/​longer slices… We ended up paying for more and getting less…
Not to mention. We where charge for a large specialty pizza with two additional toppings half the price of what it would be on a large (that is still more then a small). The extra toppings should have been charged for a small size since that’s what I was given instead… But noooo of course not even though «it the same amount of slices» they charged more for half toppings on a large because it’s still bigger…
WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A WHOLE NEW PIZZA END OF STORY and a discount for waiting 45 min before we could actually eat!!!
We will not be returning!!!

I’m a huge fan of mellow mushroom. I have had a handful of birthdays there. There are a large selection of specialty pizzas. Gluten free options. The have a strange vegan cheese as well. It was pretty good. The probable was the cleanest Mellow Mushroom I have been to.

Always good to check out the different Mellow Mushrooms around. This one was super friendly, bright and clean. Really liked the openness and natural light from the large windows. Food was good as is expected from most Mellows. Smaller beer list than most but our waiter was knowledgable and let us try a few before we decided.

Mellow Mushroom is a fun place to dine. They have nice salads and Pizzas, including a quite good gluten free Pizza Option. This is all served well in a very pleasant environment. I have tried some of their signature Pizza creations, but prefer a more standard Pizza with red sauce and traditional toppings.

I’m generally not a fan of the pizza at Mellow Mushroom. My go to order is a salad with tofu. I have to give this location four stars because it’s my only MM experience where the staff got my order right the first time. If you stop by check in on Unilocal and get your free cheese bread!

I have been here twice in as many years. Service very friendly on noth occasions.
Many pizza options along with salads and other typical chain pizza joint selections. Great family spot and I also saw a beautiful well behave dog and his/​her family enjoying dinner on a part of the large patio.

holy… shiitake…pizza. Seriously, get that one it’s one of the best pizzas i’ve ever had and thats a bold statement for a New Yorker to say. As good as the pizza was, I did have to wait a WHILE to get the pizza. But overall love the atmosphere of the place and they play great music :)

Amazing!!! I recommend the maui wowie pizza its so amazing it makes u wanna smack ur mama, jk i love my mama, but seriously its very fresh and extremely flavorful. I only wish they delivered! Its worth every cent!

Had dinner there this evening, great staff, great atmosphere, awesome food and service!

Having been to a number of these locations, we were a bit disappointed with the typical sports bar vibe going on here, right down to the sticky tables, seats, and menus. The piped in tunes were great if you could hear them as the noise level for 6pm on a average week night was rather loud. Tableside conversation was difficult at best.
Pizzas were good, but not great as expected since the crusts were overcooked and hard, and partially uncut which was a problem when using only a table knife to extract slices.
The Unilocal check-​in gift was an unimpressive order of barely toasted cheesy bread that consisted only of cheese and some garlic on a split loaf of Italian bread.
The server, Autumn, was super despite forgetting the Unilocal offer and adding $ 4.95 for the cheesy bread to our bill which she quickly removed when brought to her attention. I wished we had skipped the bread altogether and ordered extra pizzas for home just so I could give here more of a tip!
Unfortunately, for really great pizza and a good selection of cold beer, BRIXX in Greensboro is still our go-​to place as they have yet to disappoint!

Good beer. Good service. Friendly waiter. I think mellows pizza is okay. Better then your typical Pizza Hut or papa johns… But I’ve definitely had better.

Excellent and prompt service. Great vegan options. One of the best Daiya Cheese pizzas I’ve had. Staff were knowledgable about diet restrictions. Cool atmosphere and lots of great beer options. I would definitely recommend.

Surprisingly good pizza place in Burlington.
Food: The Kosmic Karma pizza is a must-​order! The pesto swirl is a great touch. If you’re really hungry, start with the pretzels as well and get one of each kind (honey cinnamon, parmesan, and plain). The bruschetta is a great choice for an appetizer as well, but keep in mind it has feta on it!
The small size for the pizza is good for one hungry person but could also be split between two people. The small salad is a nice size for an appetizer, and the large size is very generously portioned. The hoagies are pretty good as well. You probably won’t have room for dessert, but if you do make sure to ask about the peanut butter cup cookie with ice cream. It’s served warm and is pretty good!
Though I don’t follow a gluten free diet, I was impressed with their extensive gluten free offerings.
Atmosphere: The place has a really trippy feel and is pretty unique. It’s not the cleanest place, but the kitchen looks really organized and clean so moving aside a few straw wrappers and napkins on a bench seat doesn’t bother me.

Food is great

I do love Mellow mushroom for their style and pizza.
However this particular restaurant I have only been to twice and I prefer others to be quite frack. Our first appetizer was burnt and had no flavor. It also took someone from our table twice to get our waitress to finally come back by. The pizza was great as usually. And for desert would have been better if the brownie was freshly baked and warm!
Overall I gave 3 stars because I know I’ve had better experiences at other Mellow Mushrooms’ before.

Service was slow… very slow… the waiter Jeff was on point! The kitchen was overwhelmed… took over 10 minutes to get a little piece of Key Lime Pie. Unorganized is the best word to describe our experience! I won’t be back any time soon!

This was my first Mellow Mushroom experience… I met up with the husband and a couple of friends after work and we ordered a Mighty Meaty and a pepperoni pizza, cheesy bread (free, courtesy of Unilocal coupon… yay!), and salads… their esperanza dressing is most delicious! No complaints… we were seated quickly, our server was friendly and efficient, and the food was good.
