Fired Up Pizza has a really original take on pizza. It reminded me of Moe’s or Jersey Mike’s. You go through the line and elect your dough, then your cheese, then your toppings and the pizza is assembled right in front of you. Then it is popped in the oven and in a few minutes your fresh yummy pizza is ready. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have anchovies. I am pretty sure I am in the minority of people who noticed. Other than not having anchovies they did have a good selection of stuff for your pizza. Atmosphere 3 — The restaurant is bright and open albeit a fairly neutral décor. In all fairness to my knowledge it has been four different restaurants in the last 5 years or so. Service 3 — The service is basically counter service but the folks I interacted with were all energetic and friendly. Cost/Value 3 — The prices were quite reasonable for what we got. I had a three topping personal pizza for right at $ 10 after taxes. Food 4 — I really liked the pizza. It was hot, cheesy and really tasty.

I love the idea of being able to select your own dough and ingredients like Subway. The ordered a pizza with Spinach, Olives and Pepperoni. Very very good pizza. I recommend to anyone.

Great Food! My kids loving being able to get whatever they want without having to pick off all the toppings that they don’t like! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and personable.

I love this place. All pizzas are made to order a la Subway. You pick the crust, sauce and toppings. Then the heat it. It’s very fast and tastes great. Prices are very reasonable too

This concept is great. A build-to-order quick service pizza place. You walk in, your pizza is passed down the line as you select toppings, including a few sauce options. Then your pizza cooks in just a few minutes. Honestly, by the time I got my drink and got to my table my pizza only took maybe another minute. I went with a standard pepperoni and the sauce was delicious, and there were tons of pepperoni on it. Well worth the $ 6+ I paid. This place is cheaper than some of their competitors like Brixx and Mellow Mushroom, but if you’re wanting that full service restaurant feeling this isn’t the place for you. A great place to grab a quick lunch by yourself or with friends.

The concept is fully customizable personal pizzas or salads. They have several base sauces and pretty much any topping you can think of. The pizzas go into and out of the oven very quickly, hardly any wait time. One downside is they don’t have wings or any side dishes. They do pizza very well. They have a gluten free crust option.

This new pizza place works like a Subway. They begin by hand tossing your dough, then pass it down the line for sauces and toppings. Then it heads into the oven for 3 – 4 minutes. A personal size 10in pizza with any amount of toppings was $ 7.95, a pretty reasonable deal. A cheese pizza was $ 5.95 and a 1 topping was $ 6.95. The menu also includes a side salad and a dinner salad that works the same way. Choose spinach or spring mix and anything from the toppings bar and I believe it was $ 3.95/ $ 6.95. There were a couple of options for sauces besides the usual tomato sauce, like Alfredo, pesto and spicy marinara, which I chose. A couple of people in front of me and following me chose it as well, seems to be a hit. It had good tomato and Italian herb seasoning with a nice zing of spicy red pepper. Next was the topping section, which was pretty diverse. They had mozzarella, cheddar, blue and feta for the cheese section. Meats included the usual suspects like pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham and beef. There were plenty of vegetables like spinach, peppers, onions, roasted peppers, chopped garlic, banana peppers, jalapenos, olives and pineapple. Probably missing a few things because it was pretty good sized section. The pizza crust had a decent, developed yeasty flavor but a thin crust option would be nice. The pizza was just a bit underdone for my liking, but to be fair I had 7 or 8 things on there, and this is where they need to work on things a bit. They tended to pile the toppings in the middle instead of spreading them out evenly around the edges. With all the toppings piled into the middle, they just fell off when you tried to pick up the slice. Not the biggest deal, but it keeps the middle of the crust from getting done, and makes a bit of mess. Hopefully they will get the hang of it as they go along. It’s definitely a good idea, great for a quick, inexpensive bite; and building it the way you like instead of the way Papa likes it is a big bonus.
