The Team at this location stands out. From Wendy in Management, to Lindsey, Brad & Heather at the Bar or Servers like Sunshine, Alli, Katlin & Katie, their Smile & Customer Service are most welcome. While others are accommodating, these guys have personality plus. The Gally Staff is also exceptional since they prepare & serve delicious food in a consistent & timely manner. Excellent & roomy Bar with multiple Sports TV & assortment of beverages. Relationships are important & these guys make me & my wife feel special. Chili’s is fortunate to have such an outstanding Team at Alamance Crossing in Burlington, NC.

This is normally one of my favorite spots… I got steak and ribs the corn was cold and my ribs were very dry. It was very disappointing then management wasn’t concern so we won’t go there no time soon.

We went there today to celebrate a little boys Birthday. The service was horrible. It took for ever to get our food, then when we got it it was the wrong item. When I said that it was wrong the manger said well that’s what you ordered and I said
No mam the waitress must of put it in wrong. Never was there an apology for the mistake. I was served ice tea with no ice and when asked for ice she said ok and never ever went to get it. I asked her more then once and she just rolled her eyes and said yeah I’m getting it. The food is good, but the service is horrible. The staff have bad attitudes. I will never eat here again and I do not recommend it to no body.

Consistently good food and service. They have a great selection of gluten free items.

We got here, as they opened at 11 on Superbowl Sunday, both of us were a little under the weather, and figured that a spicy lunch was in order. First the good… The bottomless soup with salad and tortilla chips with salsa was actually pretty good, tasty, hot, nice contrast of flavor and texture, a real deal at less than $ 7.
We shared an app of loaded fries, which were nice, cheese, jalapenos, green onions, they were decent, even solid. I got a first, for me, a Caesar salad that had onion, tomato, cucumber, no parm, and the dressing was on the side, I have never had a Caesar that wasn’t tossed, and have never had one that included all that.
Now the bad, I am not a big fan of this centralized kitchen crap. For those of you that don’t know, chains use it to insure that their food is the same at all locations. Basically, all the food is prepared in a central «kitchen» and shipped frozen to all locations in the dreaded boil in bag. I understand it for some things, soups being totally acceptable, however; you don’t do it with peppers and onions for fajitas, if you do, the terrorists win. You have a cook working, he or she has a knife, cut the damn onions and peppers, sauté them, add the meat and the seasoning, it ain’t rocket science. As soon as the bride’s fajitas came out, I recognized it, peppers and onions that appeared to have been cooked weeks in advance, pure mush. What was supposedly rib eye steak had the texture and feel of pot roast, totally over done pot roast. Her shrimp were nice, freshly cooked and added, I would assume, to the dish, but the rest of the dish could have been duplicated, even surpassed by a frozen dinner purchased at the WalMart.
My soup and the bride’s fajitas came out with ¾ of our app, and the vast majority of my salad still left on the plate, some more points lost on that one.
They had added these cool little tablet computer thingies on the tables since our last visit. You could look at pics of the menu, request service from the wait staff, order drinks or desserts, even pay your check and get a printed receipt using your credit card. Pretty slick, indeed, but I would think that that investment would have gone much farther had they taught a few folks how to peel an onion, core a pepper, sauté some vegetables and meat, and to hold up on the mains when the apps and the salad were still being eaten.

Really good food. Service is not as good at lunch time. The staff is nice but for a lunch rush they are well under staffed and it almost makes you feel rushed when the staff is at your table.

I have always loved chili’s, and this one is no exception. We don’t go as often because we always have a large party, and sometimes they try to seat us in too small of an area for our group. Have had trouble at times, and made to feel like it was a burden to seat a large party. Other than seating troubles it’s a great place to eat, and pretty inexpensive as those types go. The food is pretty much always good and most of the staff are friendly and competent.

Service was great but the food was mediocre. I ordered the tilapia with vegetables. The veggies were extremely salty and the tilapia had to much chili powder which made it hard to eat at times.

Got only 2 stars cause the waitress was pretty good and very nice. Horrific food though. I don’t think I could ever eat here with a good conscience.

I’m a bit bias because I used to work at a Chili’s, but its undeniably that they make great greasy food.
Everything on the menu is good and there’s something on the menu for everyone. I love the Chicken Bacon Quesadilla and Texas Cheese Fries, but there salads are great too. Especially the Explosion Salad.
Having spent plenty of time in the kitchen I can say that they really emphasize providing fresh ingredients in a clean environment. If this one is anything like the one I worked at there’s someone always cleaning some part of the kitchen and the cooks spend almost an hour every night cleaning there equipment after closing time. The employees are trained to be pleasant and to deal with unhappy customers in order to ensure the highest satisfaction.
The place is perfect for large parties and drinks are great and strong. They’re constantly introducing new items, deals and drinks to the menu and employees test each new item before being sold.
You know what you’re gonna get when you order because they make sure it looks just like the picture on the menu.

Never been disappointed at this Chilis and I’ve been a dozen times at least. Prompt service always. Great food. The wait staff is funny and very accommodating. Kudos to Chilis !!!

Awful. My boyfriend has been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and I have been in for 4 years. The food was good but by far the worst service ever. Right when we walked in the hostess had rolled her eyes and was smacking in her gum. Then when she sat us she said everything with such attitude. The manager took or drink and food order because the server was busy (we saw her… she was not busy) when she did come by she told us her name and made sure the manager did help us.
I order a soup and a salad and my boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich. Neither take very long we waited for 30 minutes for our food, him and I usually eat within that time. We could also tell it had been under the heat lamp for some time. Some how my soup came up but not my salad. Also my boyfriend was out of water for the majority of the time we were there. We had to ask another server for my salad. She brought my salad and never came back after that. We are usually great tippers but I barely wanted to tip her (of course we did). I was fuming after we left. Customer service is so important to a restaurant, I doubt him and I will ever go back.

Wow. what a disappointment.
Our church group, (about 30 people) met there after church AFTER the management had been told 2 weeks ahead of time of our group size and arrival time. There were not enough seats to fit us in, as this location has a very small dining area. Even folks that were coming in as we left (almost 2 hours later) were still waiting. Our waiter, Chris (#026) was just plain wishing he were somewhere else and it showed in his attitude. Since we all had to wait very long for drinks, orders and food to be brought out, obviously our mood was pretty sour then, he offered no apology even once. Several orders, including my kids orders were wrong and had to be remade. (Really? How do you screw up a kid’s Mac & Cheese?)
Short story, our group of 30+ will be looking for a mom & pop place locally for our monthly lunches. My family and I will not be back to this location. Chain restaurants in general are going to HAVE to learn that you can’t have sorry service, (we know that mistakes are going to happen) but then try to cover it up with a sorry attitude just doesn’t cut it in our city. Chili’s, your best bet is to move out of Burlington and go back to your major metros where you belong.

We stopes by here for dinner on our way home from D.C. We arrived here and we were seated in two minutes. Our server came within a minute to introduce herself and took our drink order. She brought our drinks in short time and took our order for entrée. Our food came within few minutes and everything came out perfect the first time. Service was excellent, I wasn’t even done with my drink and she brought me another one. She always had big smile on her face and she had great enthusiasm working here which rear. The only thing I didn’t like was the chocolate molten cake, it wasn’t as good as we have it in Charlotte university location.
All in all, we had great food with excellent service.

We don’t have time to waste our entire lunch hour waiting on food. At Chili’s, the food always comes out fresh and fast. We go at least once a week!

This place was so friendly and accommodating to my large group that I was impressed. My waiter was great and funny — it helped that he was a looker as well. The food was great.
