Anticipating a smallish store of home décor, furniture, and crafts, I instead found myself taken aback by just how big it is inside. Looking for a unique something-or-another to spruce up the house, apartment, or the dorm room and can’t find it here? Then you may not be looking. Curiously, though, I overheard two people talk about buying a desk so one of them could cut it down, re-do it, or repurpose it entirely once she got it home. The piece didn’t need it, so I’m not sure why they stopped here instead of a more traditional thrift store and spend a little less money. To each his or her own. With no visible organization in the layout of the various booths, I think wherever there’s availability, it’s leased to someone who has a craft to share with others. With that model, I was all but coerced into walking through the entire store and each section. I guess that was the point. Mission accomplished as I found a host gift for an upcoming party. The women at the checkout have their work cut out for them, tracking the inventory and vendor numbers from the tags. I think people who stop here end up buying a lot because I was asked twice by two of them if I was sure that’s all I wanted. I don’t know who was more shocked, them because I was leaving with only one item, or me because I was leaving with something at all. I only came to look around, after all. Curses on those creative people enticing me with their wares.

I came here thinking it would have clothes. But this is mostly a furniture store. They have a variety of furniture, a few clothes, books, DVDs and miscellaneous decorations. Interesting store. Good quality furniture.
