Great place to get your seafood fix! Shrimp is always cooked perfect, and the hush puppies melt in your mouth. Very good iced tea, and the service fast.

I love going to this place for lunch or dinner! The menu is very large. They have about all the seafood you could want broiled, boiled or fried. Hushpuppies and baked potato are the signature sides. Don’t forget about the coleslaw… you might as well order an additional slaw because its that good. Great place to take a family.

The first place I want to go when visiting from Florida. Awesome fried seafood and they put the tartar sauce bottle on the table. BTW, I’ve already had my triple bypass surgery this year.

This restaurant has the best seafood in the state! Nothing better than the fried shrimp, fries and hush puppy plate! I will go here for the rest of my life!

I had a large combination platter of popcorn shrimp, Scallops, flounder with fries. It was excellent. I have had harbor inn before but never tried scallops. They are delicious! Best seafood I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Best Calabash style seafood in Burlington. Had fried clam strips. Platters come with choice of potato, slaw, and hush puppies. Good food. Great service. Plenty to eat — took a good bit home. The parking lot is always crowded.

Had dinner here Saturday night. Was able to order off the senior menu for a little smaller portion and a savings as well. So awesome to be able to do this even though Zi am not a senior. Had the fried shrimp which was delicious as always. Baked potato was good as well as hush puppies. The only negative is that you can’t substitute slaw for salad even for an up charge. Would highly recommend this restaurant for the best Calabash seafood around!

Good seafood and great service! We always come here when we visit relatives on Burlington. Never had a bad meal.

I hesitate not to give five stars but I will base that on how it use to be. A few years ago you could order a large fish and shrimp plate that would easily feed 2 – 3 peep. They have really cut back on portions for the to go orders. I ordered a small shrimp and flounder plate tonite and it cost me almost 13.00. My husband ate it all by himself. There really wouldnt have been enough for two peep. But with that said I ordered the wrong thing and when I got there I realised it and they without a question took it back and gave me what I wanted. That is really good customer service to me. There food is food as well and they r very friendly

This became our second option today after finding that our initial choice was closed for a week’s vacation — but you’ll hear no complaining here. Our seafood selections (Popcorn Shrimp Lunch Special and a combination plate of Fried Oysters and Fried Perch) were as good as always.
The hush puppies are nice & the slaw is solid. We get baked potatoes rather than fries because they’re not very good fries. Since we were here we also picked up a pint of Thousand Island Dressing and Blue Cheese Dressing — both made in house, both are delicious. The service matched the quality of the food — always does, it seems.

Good Southern style seafood at a reasonable price. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. It might be crowded on a Friday or Saturday night, but the food comes out quickly. It is in our weekly rotation.

Was recommended to check this place out by my sister local to the area. Hands down the best seafood in town!!! They serve it hot and fresh. Blows Mayflower out of the water. I had the catfish filet and shrimp w/​baked potato and an arnold palmer. Along with four others with other combo plates we got our food in roughly 8 min!!! So impressed!!! Waitress and staff were amazing with their service!!! Harbor Inn is so worth it!

I was very happy and amused here. The food was great. The service was great. My mom was just so fascinated with these planters made of seashells hanging. She thought is was the oddest thing she had seen. Ok, she had fun and all was well b

Have been to the place more than need be, every time I come it is always a friendly. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are eating on a big ship. This place is always clean, no food on the floor and no one sweeping while you are eating. As I approached the restaurant this time, the food was great as always and more than I can eat… but I just was seating beside people that were to loud! I think if they could do anything for me they could make the tables further apart I just don’t like hearing nonsense while I am trying to eat dinner. I think the waitress also noticed, be cause she kept asking me was I all right ! I said I was good but really I was ready to eat my food and go! BUT the prices in the place and the amount of food you get is the best in Burlington, N. C! IF YOU DON’T MIND SEATING CLOSE THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! I WILL BE BACK!

Best fried seafood in Burlington

Was traveling in the area and found this seafood restaurant. The parking lot was packed so I knew it had to be great seafood. The service was great, casual, low key — with fantastic seafood. The price was right for the portioning and quality. I will definitely come here again when traveling to the Burlington area for work.

By far the best place to eat seafood in the area. The food is always fresh and cooked just as specified. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. My family eats here a lot, and they really go out of their way to cook around my daughters’ food allergies!

The food’s always great here, today it was even better. The bride and I had a rare Sunday to ourselves, and we came here for lunch. We both got fried seafood, because that is what this place does, and today, it was about the best I have ever had. It was almost too hot to eat when it arrived, and it was delicious, to say the least.
Two folks, less than 30 bucks, phenomenal service, it don’t get no better than this. When you want seafood, and you are in Burlington, this is THE go to place. Thank y’all for a wonderful lunch.

was stoked to find them open in the snow they seated a couple in front of us then told me they were closed. Right in front of me. With no one behind us. guess we weren’t the right color.
