Sometimes you’re feeling«hangry» and just need a quick bite to eat. Thought this place would do the trick. All I can say is – call the health department. Flies everywhere, dishes stacked to the point of toppling over — and don’t even get me started on the restroom. Did eat my food — was average. Don’t waste your time or money! Lots of places near by to try instead.

Delicious-got the margherita plus extra stuff. Good alternative to Leonardo’s because its CHEAPER.

Great Pizza, haven’t really tried anything else here. Went there last night and kind of messed up my own order, because of that the person working made me a new pie, no charge. Great service in my opinion, will continue going back.

Great pizza! This place is perfect to come in and grab a slice or take a pizza to go. All of the pies are loaded with toppings. They usually have a good selection of unique pizzas to choose from. The Sicilian is huge! Right on Main Street in Burlington so easy to get to when you’re shopping. They also deliver this deliciousness right to you if you don’t feel like leaving your house or office. One of my favorite places downtown.

I am so in love with Junior’s food. We were visiting from Boca Raton, FL at the end of July 2015, and my brother and sister-in-law took us here for dinner. We sat outside with their dog and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The owners came over and sat with us for a while, suggesting some amazing dishes to try. OMG…EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!! We had a margarita pizza, scallops, calamari and about 4 more dishes that they suggested; one better than the other. YOUMUSTTRYTHEIRSCALLOPS… a must have. I could go on & on, but my words do not do it any justice. We are planning a trip back to Vermont & as I write my mouth is water for more of their food. By the way, we went back two more times before we left Vermont I also want to thank Frank & Evelyn Salese, the owners, for an excellent evening and experience. Your suggestions were right on and your company was incomparable. We look forward to seeing you both again soon. Have a margarita pizza ready for us to begin… Jif & Lori

Best pizza in BTV. Quick delivery, even on weekend nights. Highly recommend the pesto pizza, but everything from there is delicious! Update: I live in Seattle now and dream about their pizza several times a week

Just waited an hour an a half for room temperature pizza. Just like what a few others have said its really a 50 – 50 chance of having great pizza within a reasonable time or having to wait double the amount for cold pizza. Cold pizza is great but I like to have it at least warm/hot at first.

Awesome food, super fast deliveries, I always get pizza from this location now. Word of advice to Juniors: please add and ranch/blue cheese button option on your sides! I love ordering it, but it’s not listed for online ordering to choose. Thanks!

This is my go to pizza place while downtown with friends after the bars. The line moves quick and the pizza is definitely worth it. Would have gave it more stars if it weren’t for how crowded it is.

I got a meatball sub and buffalo wings while hungover in bed. The meatballs were a strange dry tacky texture and did not taste like meatballs. The buffalo wings had basically no sauce on them and had no flavor, and the chicken was dry. Super disappointing hangover cure.

The pizza: Excellent. I like a pizza that I can start with the crust and end with the tip :-)n NY style for sure. The experience: Great! The waitstaff is fare but everyone is friendly and accommodating. The price: A bit more than the other guys… but it shows in the quality. Other things on their menu are good as well. Garlic bread, subs, and their salads are not too bad as well! The only thing making this place lack a 5 star review is the price. Mr. Mikes, Manhattans, and Big Daddys are all competing with each other in this hot downtown location. Big Daddys is even more expensive with the same quality overall. Mr. Mikes is a bit cheaper but lacks the quality in the dough. Manhattans is greasier and cheaper but can be a hit or miss for awesome to bad. I hit this place up if I’m in the mood for local NY style over the others 9⁄10.

I’ve not been big on Juniors since they opened in Colchester. I had figured it to be a pizza place trying to do too much. But it seems Junior’s Downtown has figured itself out nicely. They make some tremendous pizzas and it’s the highlight of the menu! You can buy by the slice or whole pies(as I’d expect of a downtown pizza joint just down the block from famous Mr. Mikes). They do both quite well. The space is a bit cramped but it’s a Main Street establishment so large restaurant space on that building is hard to come by. Don’t expect to bring a large party in there on a weekend. It does have several nice small group(4 – 5) tables and bar-style seating. It’s your typical downtown pizza joint: get in line, order at the counter, they deliver to the table. Fountain drinks are self-serve and you can bus your table after. We tried the pesto and added bacon to it… amazing. They have perfect crust and the toppings taste great! The pepperoni is not at all skimpy on the meats. Large single slices but they aren’t soggy and grease covered. Cheese and sauce seem nicely balanced and I didn’t ever see or taste anything under or over cooked. Service was a bit on the slow side and the counter help felt new or at least the two girls there didn’t seem to know how to coordinate work well. But I didn’t complain too much as they brought some great food.

I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. Waited a solid 15 min to find out they made a bbq chicken sandwich instead. After the cashier asked what i ordered and I confirmed buffalo, not BBQ, it took them another 10 minutes to make another one. No «sorry about the wait.» Off days are understandable, but the lack of apology is what prompted this Unilocal review.

«Burlington Pizza Tour» «Juniors, More then Just Pizza» Which is good, because the Pizza is expensive, tasty, but expensive. I have eaten Pizza in New York, Chicago, Italy and Sicily, and in every place have found cheaper better pizza, there is no reason for it to be priced this high in Burlington, VT. I really don’t mean to be a dick. Junior’s Pizza is tasty, as is everything else on the menu, and always fresh, but when I’m thinking pizza I’m thinking organic or not, and Juniors does not seem to be organic so the price seems to be a little steep. I will opt for cheaper or better Pizza in Burlington. Juniors will not dissapoint you but it will cost you, Keep in mind this is a Pizza review, not a resteraunt review. But… Try the Meatball Sub! Delicious! –Fu D.

The slices we’re a little expensive for our NYC taste, but I admit the margarita slice was delightful. The spacey girl working behind the counter gave me the wrong change($ 3 short) which in my eyes is a major no no. A fellow customer innocently applying crushed red pepper to his cheese slice had the lid of the container fall off, creating a mountain of spices atop his dinner. No no.

The last *two* times I’ve ordered I have found a white/gray hair in the pizza(I chalked the first one up to a fluke, until it happened again tonight). It MAY have been pubic hair. :(Both times it has grossed me out to the point where I tossed the whole thing, and their pizza is not cheap — so that makes about $ 50 – 60 wasted. I called to tell them and though the youngish-sounding guy who answered was apologetic, I was quite surprised that he didn’t even offer to bring me a fresh pizza and retrieve the one with the hair(that should have been offered at the very least!), or give me any reason to ensure that my complaint was being passed on or taken seriously. I think I’ll start exploring other places and give Junior’s a rest. UPDATE(same evening I wrote this review): Another white hair found in the croûton in my salad. I called them back to let them know, because at this point I was beyond disgusted. The guy was less friendly this time and even sounded a bit annoyed that I was calling again. ABSOLUTELYDONE with this place. Obviously they are not following health codes and using hair nets and/or washing their hands. I also noticed, after posting this update, that another reviewer rated them 1 star because their party of 3 got sick after eating here. And a subsequent visit to the VT Department of Public Health website shows they have been reprimanded for this: «Personnel must wash hands and use good hygienic practices, be free of jewelry and have nails trimmed.» Consumers beware and INSPECTANYFOODFROMTHISRESTAURANTCLOSELY, if you decide to take your chances after reading this. Personally, I’m repulsed and will never eat here again.

Went over here for dinner with my brother, mother and wife a few nights ago, mostly because it was convenient. They offer counter service, which means you simply walk up and order. And unfortunately they don’t have a license. We ordered 3 salads not really thinking how large they might be; they were huge. 3 of us went for the chicken parm, and the last went for a calzone. Again — just huge. My brother, who ordered the calzone, wasn’t able to finish it all(and he’s a big eater) as it was basically just a medium pizza folded in half. The chicken parm was rather large, and was just a basic fried breast doused with sauce and mozzarella. What was a tad annoying was they served everything(except the calzone) in takeout aluminum containers which meant that you wound up poking through the bottom while you were eating it. It’s a pretty standard Italian joint featuring huge portions and a decent price. I don’t think it’s anything spectacular, but it was very good.
