Loomcraft the Interior Alternative

As someone who is constantly redecorating my home, I was super excited to find this place. I have been eyeing it for some time as it is directly off the 40, but as my friends live right next to this place and needed to reupholster their couch, opportunity struck!
This place has a wide selection of upholstery and home decorating materials. I thought the fabric prices were very good compared to large furniture fabric stores (maybe half or two-​thirds the price compared to other local stores), and my goodness there are just so many bolts of fabric! I love the back «clearance» room where you can get any cut of fabric for $ 7.50. If you buy the whole clearance fabric bolt, then it is only $ 5 a yard. This is a wicked good deal. I was really impressed with their selections of silks and pure cotton materials. I think their pillow inserts though were a equivalent or of equal price to those in other major fabric stores I have visited.
The staff were very sweet. The woman who helped me definitely was a fellow sewer/​home decorator and shared her decorating thoughts when I asked her for ideas. Like many other upholstery fabric stores, you can ask to take swatches of materials so you can try them out at home before buying a lot of fabric.
Major caveats of the store. 1) All sales are final, so make sure you can put what you buy to good use. 2) If you don’t have GPS it can be a little difficult to get to it from the freeway, so perhaps print out directions if you are lacking a GPS.

Great selection of upholstery fabrics and trims. Sales staff was helpful and prices are reasonable.
