Came in for exam a few days ago and had a great experience, no more Dr. Levine, who I was not a fan of, the new doctor is young and sweet and took her time to help me see better than ever with my contacts! Needed some new glasses and Kim was amazing with her suggestions and the whole process was so easy. Never going anywhere else.

I went here as a last resort in finding frames, I already had a current prescription. I was ignored the entire time I was there. I walked around the store looking at frames by myself, nobody asked if I needed help or anything. I had to go in search of someone when I was ready to buy. They have a 30 day guarantee and offer protective warrenty for the frames. 15 days later or so I noticed a scratch on my lense, so I brought it in and said I wanted it fixed, as if tell under my protection plan. The lady there immediately said«Well, what did you do?» I said«nothing… I put them on one day and noticed there was a scratch» she said«well take better care of them» I was like«they go from my face to a case… I don’t know what happened, I didn’t drop them, or have them rub against something, I don’t know… they just cracked.» but the lady was like ridiculously upset with me. I won’t go here again for frames. I’m actually looking for a 2nd pair of glasses, plastic frames, but i’m staying the hell away from this place.

I have been coming here for 12 years. Dr Levine is the best! He is always so nice and caring. Always listens to your concerns. I have never had issues at the store either. I think it’s hard as all insurance companies are different on what they cover. Hopefully at some point they will be required to cover all vision requirements.

Pearle Vision is the worst. I have been to this place twice — once when they had a location in Stoneham and once in Burlington. They have been completely rude both times. In Stoneham, I made an appointment for late afternoon on a Saturday when I got out of work. When I arrived, I was scolded the moment I stepped through the door for making such a late appointment… WHAT!!! But that was years ago and that location is gone(wonder why). Recently, I made an appointment at the Burlington location. The doctor was great, as was his receptionist. I got right in to see him when I was scheduled to and he was very nice and helpful. Once the appointment was over I was told to give my prescription print-out to one of the PV associates. There were a few other people in the store at the time so I browsed while I waited… and waited… and waited. I was completely ignored. They kept looking over a me but never said a word — not«hi», not«I’ll be right with you» — NOTHING. Then, when some very awkward man finally did help me, he couldn’t for the life of him tell me what my insurance covers as far as frames go. Maybe I should have known this but it’s my husband’s insurance so I was unsure. Some woman chimed in an said my insurance should cover 40% of frames… this akward man searched and search and, when he couldn’t find the information, just said«20% off» — again, WHAT?! I’ll be taking my prescription and going to a family-owned optical store that has always been good to me.

Do not go here. I was treated horribly today by the optometrist here, Dr. Kenneth Levine. I was 15 minutes late for my appt due to traffice. The previous week, I had to cancel my appt because of a migraine. He was so angry when I arrived today that he raised his voice, telling me he could not see me today that he is «double booked three weeks out.» Then he proceeded to tell me that I should have come in the previous Sat., even with my migraine, because«HE» oh wonderful optometrist, might have been able to tell me if something else was going on. Like I haven’t been to doctors for years for my migraine and I should come see him while I’m in horrible pain. Then he told me he was going to bill me for both appointments. He proceeded to do this loudly enough so all the folks trying on glasses could hear him. I am a working mother of two — I actually work at a hospital w/health care professionals — and no one where I work would get away speaking so abrasively and disrespectfully to a patient or customer I’m completely appalled and want to warn anyone who might consider going here, don’t.
