This business no longer exists at this location. I don’t think they moved to another location in Burlington WI because I haven’t noticed it anywhere else.

The Sci-Fi café is a wonderful place to come and eat and do research or just visit. I’ve eaten there several times and I can tell you that the food is homemade and delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Don’t bother eating here. The food is frozen and microwaved. The girl microwaved my hot dog bun so much it was like stale, chewy leather. Yuck. It is an interesting place to visit just for the amount of paranormal and sci fi objects there. The museum is small, but interesting. The basement tour was not available when I went. Apparently it was vandalized. That was a big bummer for me. I wanted to check it out. If you are looking for assorted sundries related to paranormal, there is a shop at the café too. I have not tried any of the classes or tours offered through Sci Fi Café, but I might consider it in the future.

I did not eat at the café because we had just had a big meal a few doors down. I did however, pop in to check out the gift shop. It had a «new age» feel to it. There were lots of very nice dragon and fairy figurines, incense, crystals, old comic books and things of that nature. They also sell DVDs from the Burlington Vortex conference they sponsor every year. This is one of those unique little places that make day trip exploration all the more fun. Maybe next time I am in the area, I will check out one of the Indian Fry Breads they serve in the café. Haven’t had one of those in ages.

I find the food tastey and very reasonable. This place is a good stop in with the family for local staycations. Incredible accommodating spot for hangin’ out sipping coffee or hunting for paranormal info. The computers are made available to the public. Mary Sutherland a distinguished author and her husband Brad who is a Nam vet, very cordial and definitely very knowledgeable. A jewel Burlington is lucky to have planted downtown.

It’s certainly unique. The guy working was a little deaf but nice. Not much of a talker per say, but nice. It”s just a little place and on the other side is a museum which was full of interesting odds and ends. All and all I’d recommend checking it out, especially if you are one for the odd or out of the«norm» location searchers like my friend and I are.

For some odd reason, I’m not impressed. This place offers«Vortex Tours». I am very skeptical when someone claims to have photographed a ghost or a vortex on their digital camera in near zero light conditions. The hidden tunnel free tour was interesting, until the owner talked about how the tunnels were built by one of the lost tribes of Israel 4000 years ago.

A friendly little café, gift shop, museum and research center. Stop in and discuss ghosts, aliens and all things paranormal over sandwiches, coffee and ice cream. The café is decorated with anything and everything that pertains to the paranormal and sci-fi movies. The museum is small and bursting with related information. They also offer haunted woods tours and historical Burlington tours. Upon our visit, we came to find out that is Burlington is one of the most haunted cities in the US. Apparently it is the home to vortexes. Who knew?
