Went here for breakfast this morning. Service was fast, friendly. The food was good. I had a BlT with hash browns and my friend had chicken fried steak. Prices were ok(a lil on the high side)

Greasy spoon with Mexican food. Overpriced considering quality of food and slow service. The taco salad was typical of a mall offering back in the 1980s, though the guacamole was good. The portions were large: the hash browns took up 60−70% of the real estate on the egg plates. I would have paid less and gotten healthier food faster had I gone to Panera instead.

Great food, Wonderful wait staff, Good prices! I am a very frequent customer. Their food has great flavor, I would prefer going there for lunch or dinner more than any other place! They have remodeled, and the inside has more seating, new and comfortable. Very friendly. Love, Love, Love.

2 words x 3: Liquor License! Good news! Beer & wine! We enjoyed another yummy dinner: burgers, soup, salads, with timely table service. New décor is pleasant. See you next time!

Awesome Canadian bacon and eggs! Biscuits and Gravy — wow and filling … Ham and cheese omelet. Very tasty !!! We were recommended to this place by a gal in Oak Harbor — definitely worth the trip ! Skip the chains and come to the Curious Chef in Burlingame !

Awesome home cooked meals, good variety of food to choose from. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. It was quiet too, which I like. Reasonable prices as well. I would recommend it for all age groups. Go check it out soon.

Other than taking a tad long for the food to come out, this is a five star place. I had the monte cristo sandwich, which is a ham, turkey, american and swiss egg washed and fried, so like a french toast basically. It was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were homemade and not overly garlic’d. My wife had the liver, which she said was very good and it’s a very generous portion as well. Server was attentive and really nice. They also serve breakfast all day if thats your thing!

Good service, clean restaurant, room for strollers at ends of tables. Proximity to outlet mall is nice. Hollandaise on eggs Benedict was not the worst I’ve ever had, but pretty close to a powdered packet, definitely wouldn’t get the Benedict again. Country potatoes were great, had peppers and onions and was perfectly cooked. Other dishes looked good, nice presentation. Would visit again to try the homemade corned beef hash(hopefully more homemade than the hollandaise).

Great food selection, good service, nice presentation. Décor a bit outdated, and atmosphere extremely casual. Breakfast served all day(entire menu served all day actually.) I wouldn’t necessarily take a date here, but overall a good experience.

Although our server was very nice, the food was at best mediocre. I had eggs Benedict with sausage and the hollandaise sauce was extremely bland. For a standard breakfast I think $ 11 is kinda steep for a hole in the wall, barely decorated restaurant. It’s situated between two stores, doesn’t have it’s own bathroom and the coffee was weak. I love supporting the local guys but was disappointed based on all the reviews with the overall quality.

I love the consistency with the quality and the flavors. My favorite is the French Toast. I’ve been coming here for 5 – 6 years and it just keeps getting better. Family owned and operated which is always a plus!

What a great place for breakfast! Great service, yummy food and reasonable prices are a wonderful combination. My little guy loved his grilled cheese sandwich. The veggie omelette had fresh flavorful veggies and came with a delicious side of fresh fruit. My husband was delightfully surprised by his Italian omelette. Our server was very attentive and food was served piping hot. Hot food is a treat for a mom of two kids. We will definitely be returning.

Would never have found this place had it not been for checking out breakfast places in Mount Vernon for a trip from Vancouver BC down to Oregon. Like the previous reviewer put it, this place is nothing for décor but the breakfast was good, service friendly and what stood out to me was that this is the place many of the old retired locals meet for breakfast, so that’s gotta mean the place is consistent. No frills, just good value. Don’t expect gourmet coffee or food, it’s just a good old standard breakfast fair. The bathrooms shared with some of the neighboring stores were very clean!!!

This was my second trip, the food is very good, hot, tasty with ample portions. The service was very good both times as well, they are very friendly as well as not too present but just present enough, I didn’t feel bugged but felt taken care of. The price seems to be a bit higher than most other mom and pop type of eateries we go to, but not so much you wouldn’t go back. OVERall ~ I really like it there.

First, the map that displays on the right there is wrong. This place IS in the Outlet mall on the west side of Burlington Blvd, not the east side. I saw the reviews here on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I like mom-n-pop style places with good old American comfort food, and I liked this place, with two caveats. One, the space is kind of strange. It’s a retail space with carpet and an acoustic drop ceiling.(The advantage, though, is that even though the place had plenty of people, it was quiet.) It’s nice and spacious, so that’s nice. Just a little odd. Second, it’s a bit overpriced. The menu is long and that’s nice, and the food was good and in ample portion, but it’s pretty basic and cost a fair bit more than I’d expect. Then again, I would have had to pay as much for breakfast or lunch at any of the surrounding chain restaurants, so I s’pose it’s OK, especially since the service was excellent — competent and friendly. All in all, I liked it and will likely go back when I’m not in a Red Robin mood.

If you stopped in this outlet mall for Lululemon(see also), you might as well stop here for grub before pushing onwards. As a former Midwesterner, I thought I’d fallen into a spacewarp and come out in Ohio — it’s all old folks eating no-frills American diner food. They serve breakfast all day, and I highly recommend that. The service is nice and unpretentious. It’s about the same price as a chain, but I think the food is better and it’s a little more interesting. They have some Mexican dishes as well that I’ve never had the moxie to try.

I was pleasantly surprised! If you are looking for good home style cooking without the frills and«atmosphere» then this is the place for breakfast. The wait staff is great, the food is excellent. I had the Mexican omelette and I was not disappointed. The décor is really minimal and it looks like a cafeteria. But who needs anything more? I’m not from the area but I will definitely eat here again. The majority of the clientele is senior citizens so I’m not surprised that there wasn’t even a profile for the restaurant.
