Went in on a Saturday right at the cusp of the end of breakfast/beginning of lunch. We were lucky enough to get the last table before a large crowd gathered right after us. I got the Smoked Brisket Hash, which was amazing! Girlfriend had the Corned Beef Hash, which was also very good. The waitress could have been more attentive, but she was pretty busy. It would have been nice to have my water glass re-filled and have her bring the hot sauce in a more timely manner though. But I won’t squabble over that. We will definitely be going back again, as the large menu has many, many more items I want to try. Great place!

Great atmosphere & service. The place was packed for lunch and everything was excellent. Fun little joint full of great food. I could tell there were a lot of regulars there. I was stuffed. I can’t say enough about how great the Servers were. Good Times!

The owner has done a great job creating and excellent atmosphere and selection of food. I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience! Thank you to the great staff! A simple way to put it, if I have friends from out of town, I bring them to this place to show them a great experience.

What a nice surprise~!! We went whale watching in Anacortes, afterwards we stumbled upon this place. I LOVED the food and the atmosphere. We sat in the back at the table by the garage door window that opens. It was a nice crisp evening, and they had the window open. We even got to see a HUGE train go by. Everyone cheered and hollered and did shots. The jalapeño poppers were to die for and so are the bloody mary’s. I am trying to think of a reason to go back up there and eat here again. HIGHRECOMMEND~!!

Love the happy hour!!! Good thing I don’t live closer, or I would be there every night. Also love no minors! I have nothing against kids(have my own) but it is hard enough keeping public places clean without dirty little monsters touching everything.

New Years day breakfast bloody mary was the bomb. Should have brought a friend to help eat all the goodies including ham & cheese sandwiches, meat balls, bacon wrapped spuds, cheese and meat along with the regular olives, peppers and veggies. Not to mention great service with a smile on a very busy day. Try the mary with the jalapeño vodka.

Great service, atmosphere, and food! The guac was delicious and so was the elk burger — generous portions. They even have games in the back!

The food is great, the service is friendly, and the food is great.(That’s not a typo.) Every time I’m up in the valley, I stop here at least twice. I just need to plan on being up here for sushi night sometime…

One of only two places that captured my heart in Burlington. This place is 21+ with a cool vibe, woodsy décor and lots of seating options. Awesome if you’re going for a full meal or just drinks. You’ll be missing out big time if you skip the grub though! Went at around 3:30pm on a weekend and found a table right away. The mango sauce for the sweet potato fries was different in a super tasty way. I ordered the Chicken, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato but subbed for SALMON(Oh my gosh, fresh, wild, not fishy at all, salmon. My heart!!!) and chose the gluten free roll option($.75 well spent). The small portion ISN’T giant like some places, but was totally enough for one person, and the meat was generous and perfectly cooked. Flavor winner of the night was the steak salad(my vegetarian self indulged in a wee bite) with onions and peppers and deliciousness galore. Didn’t have the pleasure of ordering what looked like incredible drink specials(reasonable too) this time around but will be back. Parking is kinda funny– go around the back to get the best spots. So good. I highly recommend. Also had games going– good spot for football!

Ohhhhhh myyy gooosssshhhh! Let me just say, their mango sauce dip for the sweet potato fries is UHHH-MAZING!!! I ordered the Derailed Burger but with chicken instead of beef. The pico had too much red onion but that just maybe a personal preference of mine since I don’t like onion. But I had a side of sweet potato fries and it was amazing with the sauce. Service was attentive, food took a while to come out but they were busy and it was after a hike so I was HUNGRY!

Lucky us, we didn’t need to wait at all even though it was packed and the food came out faster than we expected too! Food tasted amazing! It was first time for me to come to the sushi Wednesday. It was great! PS. We were sitting the back room and it wasn’t that loud!

YUMMY!!! Any place that has dungeness crab tacos is A-OK with me! The tacos come alacarte and were absolutely beautiful both visually and gastronomically. We ventured up to Burlington for work and a fellow co-worker, that I’m trying to convert to becoming a fellow Unilocaler, stated that the highlight on TripAdvisor was this bar. So, what does any Elite Unilocaler do?! Double check that! It definitely looked inviting so we ventured out in the cold ass weather to check this place out. Upon entry we knew that it was gonna be a winner. Divey and welcoming and the sweet waitress topped it off. We had a large group and she didn’t screw anything up. I photog my friends tacos and of course they turned out amazing, I’ll have to get those and post for everyone’s enjoyment. It’s always a fun thing for me to watch people eat, it goes right along with my morbid nursing voyeurism of peoples veins in the checkout line. The sounds and facial expressions of everyone at the table corresponded to gastronomic success! This is definitely a cool little place to check out not only for the yummy food but friendly vibe.

Came in on a Sunday and found the place packed. Due to the number of people, it was very loud and we had to wait for a table. No problem, don’t mind the wait, but luckily the people in front of us on the wait list left and a table opened up shortly thereafter. Ordered the buttermilk pancakes, which were fine, but a little heavy for me. Didn’t drink anything as I still had a hour+ drive back home to Bellevue. Service was friendly, if not a little rushed(I think they were really focused on turning tables). I was just passing through town when I stopped at Train Wreck Bar, and while it’s not a destination restaurant by any means, it severed its purpose this Sunday morning.

The Bloody Mary is the bomb! Packed with a punch and wonderful morsels that make a meal! This dirty drink is served in a full size mason jar! I asked for xtra Worcestershire & Monkey Vodka for spicy. The mini biscuit sandwiches & bacon wrapped potatoes were delish!

You walk in, and it’s loud. Super loud. The workers don’t really even notice you until a little while later, but that’s okay. They’re friendly, though they seem quite a bit rushed and eager to take your request and leave your table. Like they’re trying to avoid a train wreck, am I right?! No? Okay, maybe not. The crowd is mixed. Lots of passing-through-town tourists, some youngish bros, and then some old trainwreck ladies, am I right??? No? Okay, I guess not. You’ll notice that actual trains start zipping by right outside the restaurant. And it gets even louder. So THAT’S where they get the name. Because you’re risking a train wreck just being here, AM I RIGHT!!! You know, I give up. I can’t seem to do something funny with the name.

When the truck hunting at car lots in Burlington didn’t work out, we decided to quell or sorrows(kidding) with food and drink at Train Wreck. I had been before and thoroughly enjoyed a behemoth Ruben, but my husband was a Train Wreck virgin and I knew he’d enjoy it. We arrived after the main lunch rush, around 1:30 — 2:00pm, but the restaurant was PACKED. There was one table free, but it needed bussing. We stood around the main entry for a few minutes until the servers could bus the table and seat us. The menu is big and varied, and some truly awesome options. It was so hard for me to decide, but I ultimately chose The Lunch Break, with a mini salmon sandwich, green salad w/lemon-dill vinaigrette, and meatball soup. Hubby went with the elk burger & fries with a Pike Kiltlifter beer. To rewind a bit, when ordering a beer my husband asked for two different kinds to which our server said«we only have what is on the chalkboard». Said chalkboard was well out of sight at our table, and the server didn’t offer to tell us what they DID have off the chalkboard, which was kind of annoying. She«checked» to see if they still had some Kiltlifter left, and luckily for my husband they did. Also, it took our server FOREVER to take our order — no doubt because she was busy — but she literally walked past our table multiple times, while looking at us, but not taking our order. Kind of annoying, but hey, she was busy so I’ll throw her a bone. Server comes back after 10 minutes to say they don’t have meatball soup but squash bisque, split pea & ham, or chowder. I decided to have split pea and ham because bisque & chowder both have dairy in it and I am dairy sensitive. Food comes after about 30 minutes; my husband’s burger looks awesome. My lunch, while looking awesome, was slightly incorrect. The server ended up bringing the squash bisque instead of the split pea & ham. Ordinarily I would have mentioned the mistake, but I didn’t for two reasons: 1) she was really busy, and who knows if the kitchen actually had the split pea & ham in the first place; and 2) my dairy sensitivity isn’t severe so it wasn’t worth making a huge stink over. I dove into my lunch, and holy crap, my taste buds were very happy. The mini salmon sandwich had a reasonable salmon filet(approx. 4oz) on a fresh bun. Perfectly seasoned & perfectly cooked! The squash bisque, while not what I ordered, was pretty tasty. There was a unique and unidentifiable spice in it. And the salad — oh my heck, that lemon-dill vinaigrette was delish! The mixed greens were topped with chopped cukes & tomato, and a side of the dressing. It was super garlicky, and perfectly lemony-and-dilly and I could have drank a gallon, I kid you not. It took awhile for our server to clear our plates and bring us our bill, so we had our credit card at the ready when she came by with the check. Her service was pleasant, albeit scatter, hence the 4⁄5 star rating. Will we be back? Absolutely — and I’m gonna try each of their homemade dressings since I expect them to be equally as amazing!

My friends and I were looking for a place to eat before heading over to look at pretty tulips. Train Wreck popped up so we decided to give it a try. I was totally disappointed that we had missed breakfast/brunch and I asked about the loaded Bloody Mary after I ordered my food. I wish I had asked sooner, because it would have been available but the server advised against it, since I probably wouldn’t be able to finish it all. Thus, I ordered the Lunch Break with the crab cake sandwich and beer sampler. I let the server choose the selection and they were all pretty good. My favorite being the Boundary. The food was decent — a nice size sandwich with soup(clam chowder) and salad that came with. Train Wreck is a bit of a drive for me, but next time I’m in the area, I’m definitely going to check out their brunch!

Busy restaurant at a first glance. I came here with my family and waited around 20– 30 minutes for a table. Server was friendly and food was good. I ordered Mushroom Burger combo and was all good except for fries. The portion for fries was big, but overlooked. My parents also enjoyed the food here. They said it was delicious and not salty at all. We all enjoyed it and felt really full. I couldn’t finish my food in the end.

When feeling gluttonous, this is the perfect place to go. Free parking can either be found on the street on in the back gravel lot. Tabs are easily split and Discover is an accepted form of payment. This place is a bar, so nobody under 21 is allowed. Sometimes that’s a wonderful thing. This place is packed all the time and one seats themselves. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat near the bar, the tables are really cool. There’s a couple large tables that look like they’re made out of large trees/logs. These tables seat 6 – 8 quite easily on benches. A full bar is offered, but nothing hits the spot quite right first thing in the morning like a Bloody Mary does. I ordered the standard Bloody Mary for $ 6.95 and it was garnished with 2 stalks of pickled asparagus, 2 large green olives, a lime wedge and a lemon wedge. Happy sipper here. My wife usually orders the Biscuits and Gravy but today chose the TW Breakfast Sandwich for $ 9.99: made on toasted house baked hand sliced white bread w/bacon, 2 eggs, pepper jack & avocado. Served w/breakfast potatoes. She really enjoyed her choice and brought half her sandwich home. I always order the small Breakfast Burrito for $ 10.99: a warm 14″ flour tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, avocado, 2 strips of bacon & house sausage, salsa, cheddar cheese & sour cream. I opted to smother my burrito in house red chili sauce this time for an additional $ 1. My burrito also came topped with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro. Although I was ravenous, I was only able to eat half of my burrito. Assuming my daughter doesn’t eat my remaining half(she loves this burrito), I’ll have a super delish and easy breakfast tomorrow. Thank you Train Wreck for filling my belly and putting me in a food coma. I will think of you all week while in my spin class!
