Way too over priced. I wouldn’t mind if their burgers blew me away but they don’t. Also, what burger place doesn’t include fries? I have been here a few times when others have chosen and each and every time the waitresses have been rude, they don’t check in often and make you feel rushed.

Ate at Burger Jones’ Burnsville location with 3 other people who recommended it from their experience at the Uptown location. We were sadly disappointed overall. No one finished their burger. I ordered the Chubby Cheddar, which had a repulsive cheese inside of it resembling cheez-wiz, only somehow worse. My husband had blue cheese on his burger, which came as a gigantic glob centered on the patty overpowering every bite. He scraped off at least 2 tablespoons and still had plenty on the burger. The other couple with us said their burger was disappointing and bland. However! The parmesan waffle fries were divine, and accompanied with the seasoned sour cream it almost made up for the terrible burgers. Our server replaced my burger with a Jr cheeseburger after I explained I absolutely couldn’t eat the«cheddar», though we paid for the Chubby Cheddar still. The patty on the Jr was dry and unseasoned. I’d return solely for those waffle fries, and nothing more.

My burger was okay… pretty small and dry, but had decent flavor. The biggest reason I won’t come back is for the prices. My fiancé and I each had 1 Happy Hour drink, each had a burger and a side. Our bill ended up being over $ 50 for mediocre food. Yikes! Service was pretty good though.

Burgers were seriously overdone… So dry that we had the cut off the edges of my son’s so he could eat it. Prices are ridiculous considering they don’t include any sides. French fries were soggy. The only good thing about this meal was the sweet potato fries which were good(although no better than most places). The waiter did keep our water glasses filled(a positive amidst a LOT of negative). Let’s just say I’d rather go to Wendy’s for a burger over this place. Red Robin will continue to have my business for a burger restaurant. This place is YUCK!

For a chain this place is awesome. While a new burger chain focusing on beers went in just down the road, I feel this place is far superior because it has a much better beer selection and amazing burgers. I. A burger man and these things deffinately have some taste. If ur cheap go for the late night BJ which is fantastic. My parents are restaruant snobs and yet they still insist on frequenting here. The waitresses know my family’s all orders the same burger medium rare. Awesome atmosphere with tons of tvs. They aren’t the best and having good games on but don’t be afraid to ask them to change the channel!

We were shopping in the area on New Year’s Eve and decided to try Burger Jones for an impromptu dinner date. We were surprised reservations were needed — thankfully they were able to seat us. I ordered the White Trash Burger with Maple Bacon Sweet Potato Fries. My husband ordered a Original Jones Burger with Swiss and the regular fries. My burger was an end-of-year, before-the-diet-starts indulgence and did not disappoint! The hubbies burger was really tasty, but he was a little disappointed with the smoked ketchup he ordered to go with the fries. I also ordered a Bloody Mary. It was served in a quart jar — huge — and was tasty. Although they promoted it as «lunch» because of all the add-ons, it was really just a pickle slice, cheese curd and partial beef stick. All-in-all, good service, good food and I’m sure we’ll go back.

Really friendly customer service. They were always around to get want you wanted. Food is also great. It’s cooked just the way you want it. It’s a bit on the pricy side but it’s not too bad.

I went here to grab dinner with some of my friends since they are all from the area. I liked how their menu had other choices besides just burgers, but I went with the build your own burger and put avocado, sprouts and a fried egg on a thin bun. For the food, it was actually a really good burger to me! Threw some sriracha on there and it was great. You have to order sides(fries, cheese curds, etc) and they don’t come with the burger — this wasn’t my favorite because my burger already cost a lot of money and I wasn’t about to spend that much more. For the service, our server was not good at all. I usually don’t complain about servers, but she avoided eye contact, never filled out waters(another lady was nice enough to come fill our waters) and our server was no where to be found most of the time. Overall, the place was good, but I’d much rather try the Uptown location if I were to go back again. Nothing about this place was amazing, but they did had a decent burger!

I don’t know what to say… I was totally not impressed. We sat down and took a look at the menu, the options were pretty exciting and plentiful. In the end, the burger wasn’t that great. If the burger itself isn’t seasoned and done well, all the toppings in the world aren’t going to help it. Fries were ok. If I had to choose between this and fast food, it would be a tough call… I might choose fast food because the price lol.

First timers at Burger Jones. We came in for my husbands birthday. We were greeted right away at the front door with a smiling face. We were sat right away at a comfy booth for two. It was near the kitchen with an birds eye view of the kitchen to watch them work! Brian was AMAZING! Great recommendations and awesome service! If you have a burger addiction-YOU HAVETOCHECKTHISPLACEOUT! If you can’t find a masterpiece on the menu, you can creat your own! The Burnsville location is a little gem! When you stop in ask for Brian-he knows his stuff and makes you feel right at home

We really like Burger Jones as a family. Someone wrote not to bring kids because of no kids menus. That is simply not the case(see my picture of the kids menu). The reason we eat there is because our 6 and 7 year olds love it! The burgers are really good. Not The Nook good so that is why I gave it 4 stars. Nachos are awesome and the milkshakes are awesome. We have always received great and prompt service. I like to build my own burger and I get the junior size. Share the nachos or have as a meal as they are awesome but huge.

You know, they were really not bad at all. Service was a tad slow HOWEVER we were at a table of about 20 people. Our server took our food and drink orders promptly, most of the waiting was for the burgers, which they managed to bring out to everyone more or less at the same time! We were there about 8ish on a Saturday and it was pretty empty, which I thought was a bit surprising. Besides our table there were a handful at the bar and out on the patio. First round hubby and I both ordered the 32oz mason jar sparkling sangria. It was tart, boozy, and decidedly refreshing after spending 3 hours in the sun and mosquitoes. Since I was driving I nursed a Tin Whiskers wheat beer for the rest of the night, while the hubs proceeded to get 2 of the $ 5 bloody mary specials with a beer chaser(pictured). They had a nice tap list as well. For my burger I went with the black and blue, pink, extra cheese please! Hubs did a build your own, and our friend went with the white trash burger. It was a bit of a wait for the burgers but I think that was due to our large party. My burger was spot on! Pink in the middle and requested extra cheese. I also ordered a side of the maple bacon sweet potato fries, but I was a bit disappointed with them. I have the impression that they are simply dusted with a maple/bacon seasoning. I only ate a handful. Hubby inhaled his burger(business as usual) and our friend ate about half of his white trash burger and got the rest to go, he said it was too much grease to handle all in one meal. Fortunately for us our server had asked everyone before hand how to split the check up, so there was no downtime for us paying the bill. A little different than what we’d usually stop at but it satisfied nonetheless. I don’t think we’d come here(or the Calhoun location) on our own but I’d have no problems coming back with a group, if that was the consenus!

I read a lot of bad reviews of this place. I find them in relation to my experience totally wrong. I thought the place was too loud, but festive. I like that. Our service was excellent, in fact I would say that our server Brian was far above average. A very entertaining guy that was attentive, knowledgable and engaging. I like a server that sells the product and walks a guy around the menu. I’ve never been to this place before and this guy made sure we knew all about the menu. The food was what I expect out of a burger place, wasn’t excellent, wasn’t awful. It was good. Overall this was a good experience.

I love their mushroom and Swiss bison burger! My husband loves the regular burger with American cheese. If it’s someone’s birthday, they’ll bring out a fun treat :) What I don’t love– it always seems to take a million years to get your bill!

Not a place I would go out of our way for… But we had a $ 50 gift card and this is the option closest to where we live. Service was friendly and attentive… But not over-the-top or extreme. My husband had the white trash burger and I had the bison burger. We actually could have split either one of the burgers along with our appetizer and had plenty to eat. The burgers were good but my husband mentioned that his burger was very greasy, and so was unable to finish it. One comment I would add is that they do not offer nutritional information on their menu items. As I am trying to eat healthier, this made it a bit difficult… I selected the bison burger based on information found online via an external site… It said that the bison burger is 146 calories. I suspect that this is only for the bison patty so be sure to account for the cheese, bun and onions(and any condiments) if you are tracking your calories.

I like this place because they offer so many options, including bison burgers and turkey burgers and any fixings you can imagine! I ordered the Blaze burger, which isn’t on the menu anymore, with modifications. So I ended up getting a bison burger with turkey bacon, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, peanut butter, and hot sauce on a thin wheat bun. Freaking amazing. I also ordered sweet potato fries, and they came out lukewarm. The server was quick to bring a new order though. The bf got a chicken summer salad and I had a bite of that too, and it was good.

This place was not bad! I must say it looks nice inside and my waiter knew the menu very well. Although he said he wasn’t a huge fan of the White Trash burger, he described the flavors and sold me on it. The burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. He came by to always make sure we had refills and everything we needed. I will say though that the burger I ate wasn’t the best burger ever, but this place was not bad. The smoked ketchup dip literally tasted like a log fire which I didn’t really care for. The chipotle sauce was delicious with the French fries but the sour cream was not so great. Overall, presentation was clean and beautiful, the service was great, and the food tasted good,(but nothing left me saying«oh my gosh I love this meal!»)

Cheese curds were really great, burger was good too but a little spendy. I did not like their smashed fries, but I would proabbly try them again.

I was in the Burnsville area and was craving a burger and beer after a long day of car shopping. I knew Burger Jones was in the area, I could see the creepy guy holding a burger from highway 42, so I popped on in. You can expect by the name it’s a trendy burger joint. Lots of booths, open concept throughout, modern design, and lots of weird burger art all around the walls. Like people stuffing their faces with burgers, I didn’t find it appetizing. Very creepy. We were seated quickly, it was about 4pm, so super late lunch/early dinner, it was not busy. Our server was fast with the waters and took our beer orders. They have a decent selection of some good beer. We ordered cheese curds, they were highly recommend by my annoying car salesperson, the burger of the month which was the Umami with red smash potatoes, and a El Cubano burger that did not come with sides. The cheese curds were some of the best I’ve had. Summit beer battered, with a smoked tomato ketchup. I have to be honest here. I hadn’t read the description so when they first came I grabbed a golden nugget, dipped it in the ketchup, and tossed it in my mouth. I was immediately confused, but in a happy, excited way. I was convinced they somehow made these cheese curds over a charcoal grill and managed to still get the fried goodness on them… then it was politely pointed out to me that the smoke was coming from the ketchup. Oops, well now I just feel foolish. The burgers were good, not«oh my gosh I can’t get enough good» though. The Umami burger was cooked nicely, pink in the middle, it was topped with some crispy yummy pork belly, and fried onions. There was a little too much spicy mayo, it made the burger even heavier than it already was. The smash potatoes were really greasy, nothing special. It was basically potato chunks beaten with a mallet then fried. The El Cubano burger with ham and roasted pork, was saved by the pickle. The tangy crunch added much needed flavor. The buns were both borderline dry, and too puffy. Overall, the food was good, but overpriced. Paying over $ 10 for just a burger is steep. Shoot, at least gimme some chips then. The restaurant was very clean and the open concept gives you a view of a television at any angle for sports fans. However, the art was creepy as heck. Service was wonderful, fast, and friendly. I’d be back for cheese curds, some beer, and maybe a basic burger. You can find 5 star burgers at divey restaurants, with better prices, and great service at many other joints in the twin cities.

I liked this place! We were on a road trip and had walked into a fine grill type restaurant, sat down, looked at the menu and realized it was just too stuffy for our tastes at that moment. The waiter at that place said we should just go across the parking lot to one of his favorite places for a really fantastic burger. We took him up on the suggestion and were happy we did. This is basically a create your own burger diner-type restaurant. Everything you can think of is available, including, ahem, «government cheese» :blink:blink: I wasn’t very creative; I had the party melt with caramelized onions, cheddar, and bacon. It was everything I had hoped it would be. His had fried egg, onion rings, 3 cheeses, bacon, lettuce, mayo. I don’t know how, but he ate every single bite of that thing lol. Waffle fries were also good. Service was excellent. It’s not the best burger I’ve ever had by a long shot, but it was good and I’d return!
