I like the premise of this place. You head into the middle of nowhere PA and can become fully engulfed in the training. I went for CISSP training. There were minimal distractions. The lodgings were just fine. The trainer was excellent. Not only was he a subject matter expert but he was very good at teaching the material. I was failing practice tests before the class, but successfully passed the certification on my 1st try. I have recommended this place to coworkers, and they have all successfully passed the CISSP exam on the 1st try. My big complaint is that the food sucked. I wasn’t there for the food. I worked my butt off for 6 days and on the 7th day passed the test. At the end of the day passing the test is all that matters.

My experience with Training Camp left much to be desired. I enrolled to obtain my PMP(Project Management Professional) certification via a four day intensive ‘boot camp’. The«Education Specialists»(ie salesman) make enrolling and remittance of the $ 2445 fee a snap, but it goes downhill from there. I never could download their pre-work and off hours their ’24/7″ support is simply an answering machine. The outfit who supply the PMP pre-work is a thrid party vendor based out of a PO box in California and only supplied canned responses to my pleas for help that did not address my needs. Training Camp does not reveal upfront that you need high speed internet and other software to download this material. Lastly, I arrived at their Bushkill, PA campus to find my class was postponed for six weeks(due to insufficient enrollment). That was the final straw. I requested a full refund which I received by check about three weeks after I requested the refund. Clearly, I would NOT recommend Training Camp.
