WOW! Stop here! What an oasis in the I-5 desert. New owners are making amazing Indian food. We had the sweetest server ever. We met Riti and Paul, who are the new owners and doing such a wonderful job. Gracious, beautiful people. The food is real deal — authentic Indian and oh, so good. This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had, and as an American Sikh, I have eaten Indian cuisine in many places around the world. There are vegan options here and plenty of meaty items as well. All your Indian favorites are here. The dining area is clean and very simply appointed. There’s a very nice selection of beer and wine. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant and will make a point of stopping here to say hello to Riti and Paul every time I am heading south on I-5.

Stopped by for dinner on way back to home to San Jose, driving up from San Diego, on Jan 30th. Perfect for quick on/off from I-5; and is an infinitely better choice than food chains along that commute route. Our a la carte order did take fifteen to twenty minutes to come to the table. .they do it fresh to order. The food was very delectable, authentic, and fresh. We had Paneer Tikka, Paneer Pakoda, Daal, Butter Chicken, Goat Biryani, Aloo and Gobhi naan. Rice and tons of Indian Chai. The quality was very good, and the quantity was surprisingly large. Took half of our stuff to go… and are continuing to enjoy it(day 2 after), Highly recommended for anyone on the I-5 commute. Thanks

Under New Ownership!!! I came here when the previous owner was running the place. Back then my review would have been 1 star. Now I can honestly say EVERY single dish was amazing! We ordered a plethora of Veggie and Vegan dishes and the family next to us said their meat dishes were delicious as well! This place is head and shoulders above what you would expect from its location. Come give them a try!!! You won’t be disappointed. ;)

So I kind of think this place gets a lot of unwarranted hate… for those complaining about the price? Go eat your $ 1 burger from McD & be happy. I think paying $ 13(including tip) for an appetizer, entrée, plus drink is a *great* deal… which I’d never find at home! And for offering Vegan options in the sea of roadside burger joints, has got to earn extra props! So the Mr & I stopped by, during our last roadtrip & grabbed Samosas; Veggie Birayni Wraps & Mango Lassis The Samosas were overcooked & the potatoes were almost like a mashed potato quality but it was still very flavorful — I suspect these were from frozen but again… roadside diner The Wraps unfortunately,(aka, Indian Burritos) were bland & greasy — even with the«extremely spicy» request we had made. I was loving when he asked how spicy we wanted it & then laughed when we said very… but then they delivered the heat. Too bad it was only in the form of hot sauce & not the flavor-level of the dish itself. Had this been from a restaurant in town, it would have been 2-Stars but for roadside expectations, will say it’s an expected, road-trip-greasy-meal The Roti they used to wrap the wrap was all kinds of good The Lassis were just a little watery but I was loving the fact they didn’t add any ice — this was all lassi! So our overall assessment was that this was an A-OK choice for those looking for not-so-typical fast food when getting off the highway, quickly grabbing a little something something & getting back on the road. Where else you gonna find Indian in the middle of nowhere?
