I commute twice a week between Los Angeles and San Francisco for work and always stop here to get my caffeine fix. The product is nothing exceptional; just what you would expect from any Starbucks. However the customer service is surprisingly warm and welcoming for this type of facility and location. Kim and Heather always make sure you leave happy. For this reason, this is hands down my favorite Starbucks on the 5 freeway.

I usually stop at this Starbucks on my way to Anaheim. It is a great stop. This location is always clean(Trust me you can find some bad stops on the way to your desitnation) and the customer service is always great. My family and I always get a hello and a welcome. So I am not a coffee drinker but my wife is and she never has a complaint about the quality of the drink. My family and I are constant travelers to Anaheim/Disneyland and will always make a stop here.

The thing that disturbed me was the lack of friendliness and the chewing gum behavior of the girl here. The drinks are just starbucks, what I expected but the service overall could be better, efficient and friendlier.

Background: So this is my first review, I work in the hospitality industry(front desk) «the front line». So I am traveling to SoCal from San Francisco«The City by the Bay». I took MegaBus– you get what you pay for. How so true this statement is! I was like a man in from the wondering desert, the lady at that store helped me out. She knew better then any city barista & did it with a «SMILE» She was my water, & Candy was awesomely Fabulous!!! Candy had a Genuine smile, anticipated where she could show her hospitality. She not only acknowledged me while doing store chores, Brought my drink and food to me Multiple times… Never before have I been treated like royalty as a customer! They are Fabulous and Rock at 6409… Yes this is so true

I had an exceedingly bad experience at this particular Starbucks. Perhaps it’s because it’s in the middle of the Central Valley and there are no other options, so they’ve become complacent. The staff particularly the baristas were rude. I waited 20 minutes for them to pour premade cold brew into cup. The cold brew was the diluted with too much water, and was way too acidic to believe it was cold brew. The barista was rude when I asked for an extra cup of ice when I received my order. She didn’t even give me the extra ice in the end, citing they couldn’t take *water* orders at the counter. I repeat their policy only stated they could not take water orders at the window. If they wish to continue with this policy, they need to update the sign at the barista window and also should place a sign at the order window. By the time you’ve ordered and are waiting for your order it is way too late to make changes/additions to your order.

Dirty bathrooms(what a surprise Starbucks…). Poor service, focus was on drive through and not in café. Unfriendly workers. A mess of a Starbucks.

I love this Starbucks because it is off the freeway and near many gas stations. I usually stop here from NorCal or from SoCal to give me a booster. This Starbucks always has friendly staff. I have no complaints on any of the drinks they’ve made me in the last many years I’ve come to this Starbucks. I’ll continue to keep coming as it is convenient and I have never had a bad experience here!

Congratulations, you win the grossest Starbucks I’ve been to award. Granted, the apocalypse-like fly storm outside your restaurant is totally out of your control. But the lack of coffee stirrers, lukewarm customer service, absence of a way to dry your hands in the bathroom, and lack of salad/green juice selection are disappointing. But the reason for the low rating is the stacking of inventory on the floor *the floor* outside the restrooms. Totally disgusting and a clear health code violation. *dry heave*

Couldn’t find a Starbucks open this late on I5 until I found Willowbutton. Got so excited until we got there and they were already closed. Unilocal said they were open for 40 more minutes! I5 needs more coffee open this late…

I’m a Starbucks regular and am always loading up my mobile app with funds for the convenience. This review is for the drive thru, as I pray quality of the beverage served inside is higher. I get the whole drive-thru and the need for expediency. We purchased vanilla latte’s. I ordered, pulled around to the window, and the beverage was ready. About 45 seconds. Although I loved the fast service, my latte was terrible. Not sure what was up, but the coffee tasted as if it had been sitting around for while. I can only think that they had generic espresso shots sitting around and they just added hot milk. Definitely didn’t taste fresh. Starbucks Manager: Don’t ever sacrifice quality for speed.

Let’s see, this place was in the middle of nowhere in a way off tracy avenue just off the 5 freeway. Stayed nearby but needed my fix before getting on the freeway. Placed my order was served by Pen(Penny), she didn’t smile at all but was kind.

Having Starbucks in the middle of nowhere is always appreciated by us. Good friendly service, clean restrooms and so nice little snacks to grab and go.

Good staff, and clean facilities as I would expect of a standard Starbucks. Got a Santa Fe chicken panini and it was warmed and promptly handed back to me quickly enough so I didn’t have to worry at all about making it back to my Megabus on time. Great for a rest stop!

A 15MINUTE wait for a cup of coffee. The next time I drive through this area: FORGETIT!!! And I expressed my disappointment and they did nothing to make it right!

It’s a Starbucks by the highway. This place was incredibly packed when I was here. Waited a while for my iced coffee. They have a drive-through which is nice. Try the almond pastry. Delicious.

Buttonwillow is pretty much a regular stop to and from L.A. when it comes to fueling up; both gasoline and coffee. We’ve never been inside this particular Starbucks, but the drive-through is always quick and easy with pleasant greetings all around. They do have patio seating, but if you have ever been through Buttonwillow, you know the air in town isn’t always the freshest — being a truck stop for the most part. Ha! We have yet to see anyone sitting outside here enjoying the outdoor setting. Regardless, we have always had a good experience here, and we will continue to make our regular pilgrimage while passing through. 3 stars!

There were 3 people working at this starbucks in the middle of the day on a wednesday. 2 of them seemed to be teenagers with no regard for customer service. I literally stood in front of them for 2 whole minutes without them even noticing that I was there. Seriously? They seemed perplexed by some issue on the cash register. Another staff member who was older and in charge seemed to be doing all of the real work. Just a plain poor experience.

I have no idea why I must always stop in this Starbucks while I drive down the I-5. It’s my go-to rest stop. Consistent drinks, clean bathroom, and nice seating area to just rest and relax! Nice to get coffee to fuel and energize you up for the drive! Parking lot right outside makes it easy and plenty of gas stations and eating areas nearby.

Hi-ya! All Starbucks are alike… they are consistent and service and coffee solid. I was tired and stopped by for a recharge of caffeine and it was what I needed! The store had this one thing weird though when you exit a really powerful fan kicked on… to keep bugs out I guess, but way to powerful and unexpected when you have coffee in your hand.

I make two stops on the dreaded trip on the 5. Once at Patterson and the other at Buttonwillow. They have a drive through here, but I always get out and go in. It’s a good sized Starbucks and they have nice bathrooms. The people are very friendly and the drinks come up fast. If I have my dog with me, I park behind the Starbucks in the back part of the parking lot. There is usually shade there.
