We stopped at the outlets on our way to Palm Springs, and after a few hours of bargain shopping at Lululemon and Saks, we headed to Blaze for a bite to eat. There are about 10 different Signature pizzas to choose from, or you can make your own. We opted to construct a combination of the two, and ordered the Vegetarian pizza, yet added additional toppings as well! The pizzas are filling enough for two girls to split. Now I know why this place is addicting – prices are low and you can get as many toppings as you wish. Our pizza had salami, mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, arugula, lots of basil, and olives! This was all heaped on top of a generous portion of marinara and shredded mozzarella. Three cheeses are a must.

What a pleasant surprise! Here is where good and expensive don’t meet! Excellent pizza and customer service at good prices. Crust is thin and tasty. I had the red vine and my friend had the meat lover. Both were excellent! Will definitely go back when in the area or recommend to a friend.

Dinner for tonight! I love me cheese pizza so I got ‘Simple Pie’ which is exactly that. No extra, just plain cheese. I love it! Thin slices which mean you can eat a lot and service was fast. You can see them doing your pizza as you tell them what to put etc.

Love Blaze. We were starving upon arrival and it was gloomy and rainy. We wanted something hot and hearty and Blaze was the closest we could think of. A perk was that our VIP book came with a 10% off of $ 10 or more. We walked in and no wait. We ordered 1 pizza to split between the two of us and we split the toppings. The husband wanted some items I didn’t care for and vice versa. The service was really friendly and efficient. Our pizza was ready within minutes. Luckily there were several tables available. Also got the blood orange lemonade — can’t go wrong!

I’ve been here so many times and it’s great every time. There’s no point in getting their custom made pizzas — just get a Build Your Own. You can get however many toppings you want — and however much of each that you want — and it’s all the same price. I build mine up with toppings so much that it can last me two meals. They have half-boxes that you can just take and put the other half of your pizza in to save for later. Service is good. They’re usually pretty quick and efficient in getting through the line. It takes 3 – 4 minutes for them to build your pizza, and another 3 – 4 minutes for your pizza to bake. Staff are generally friendly and seem happy to be there. When I went yesterday, I was getting up to leave and was carrying my empty tray and trash. An employee came over and said, «I can take your tray and trash for you.» Great customer service for a pizza place! You can also order online, which is a great way to save time. On the website, you can check the boxes for all the toppings you want. When you arrive at Blaze, check in and they’ll stick your already-built pizza into the oven so it’s fresh.

Let me just start off by saying that I am a HUGEFAN on Blaze. I have high standards for pizza and Blaze is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. This was the third blaze location that I visited and while the pizza was delicious, this location was was sub par. I could tell that they had a busy day– it was right after the holidays and with this location being in a shopping center, I’m sure they were swamped however that is not an excuse for poor service and a lack of cleanliness. When was ordering my pizza I could see grease COVERING the glass between me and the toppings. Also the counter was absolutely covered in toppings. As they dragged pizzas across the counter you could see pieces of topping from the counter landing in the containers on toppings. Pretty gross! I understand how certain things fall behind when you are super busy but cleanliness shouldn’t be one of them. If someone would just come through every few minutes and do a quite wipe down, this could be avoided. Also, while the people making my pizza were very friendly, the cashier could use some training on customer service. She asked me if I would like a drink and since I don’t drink soda I asked for a cup for water.(Pretty standard, right?) well no! She refused to give me a cup for water without paying for it. She explained to me that they had been very busy and they ran out of water cups and he only way to get a paper cup is to pay for it. I explained to her that I really only wanted to get water and she said that if I wanted a cup, I would need to pay for it. At this point at asked for the manager(would couldn’t have been over 16 years old). The manager also explained me to me that they ran out of water cups and that if I wanted water I would need to pay for a paper cup. At this point we were making a scene… Why? Because these employees don’t unsay and customer service. I get it, places get busy around the holidays but I’m sorry, the managers lack of forecasting sales and ordering the proper amount of water cups is NOTMYPROBLEM! Also I understand that there might be a few bad eggs out there who take paper cups and say that are going to get water but they really get soda, I get it, but it’s still not MY problem. I understand that her and her manager were just going by what they were told«if customers want a paper cup, they need to pay» but good customer service and common sense would say that if the store runs out of water cups, make it right by providing paper cups of necessary. In the end, after much back and forth, I got my cup for free but the cashier said something under her breath that I wasn’t able to make out. I was appalled by the customer service but I pizza was tasty.

Great idea for a pizza place. Like the Chipotles of pizza. Pizzas were great. Fast friendly service. Cool restaurant. We need this chain in Vancouver!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. Yes, it’s fast(maybe even classified as «fast food»). Yes, it’s a chain restaurant. But it is hands down amazing. Honestly, it’s my favorite place to grab a pizza. The staff is so friendly and they really make awesome pizzas. I come out there just for dinner, not even for shopping at the outlets! I love the varieties and that I can custom everything, and they have beer which is definitely a plus when I’m forced to shop afterwards. My favorite is the Meat Eater and I really only order than now. I will continue to go back week after week, trying to avoid the crowds on weekends =)

I am sooooo happy that this pizza restaurant is at this outlet mall. I had never eaten at Blaze before but I was sooo surprised of how delicious the pizza was. I was going through the outlet’s coupon book and saw a 10% off($ 1 off of $ 10 purchase) coupon for Blaze. Since it was lunch hour time, we headed toward the pizzaria. There was a line but it was moving very quickly. I grabbed a seat while my husband went to order the food. I was looking at how nice the employees were while taking the order all the way through handing the order to customers… After waiting about 10 mins, my husband came back with one of the best lemonades I have ever had… It was their blood orange lemonade and it was sooo refreshing. Soon after the pizza was ready and oh my goodness it was soooo delicious and filling. My husband had asked the pizza to be half and half. Half side to be with chicken, olives, roasted garlic and cheese and the other half be basically a meat lover pizza. The crust was very tasty and was cooked perfectly w/o being burnt. We got one pizza for 2 of us and I have to say that it was just a right portion. There was an employee who kept coming and checking on us to make sure that we are happy and didn’t need anything… Everything was just great and clean. I will for sure go to a Blaze pizzaria close to my house now, since I know how yummy the pizza is!

So glad they opened up at this location. Desert Hills outlets has become a touristy place and Blaze honestly makes the best pizza: thin crust + quality toppings = the best. It’s great to bring the guests to this place for them to enjoy the American culture while doing a little(a lot) of shopping. With that said, the service can get a little slow but staff is very friendly. The location is very clean and keeps up with the standard. I approve as a Blaze fan.

I’ve been to other Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizzas and they all taste great. However this location was packed when I came. They were still efficient with making their pizzas for everyone, so the line kept moving. I like to go with the«Build Your Own Pizza.» It’s the same price as the specialty pizzas and you can add anything and as much of anything you want! Tastes great! Worth the price! And definitely filling!

We liked Blaze in Orange County(liked Pieology even better) but now we’ve moved to the Coachella Valley where neither is to be found. So while driving down the 10 we decided to stop for lunch at Blaze. Wonder if we’re the first people to come to the outlet mall just for pizza. Probably not. I had noticed that the mall doesn’t have a lot of food choices. So naturally at lunchtime on a Friday, Blaze was packed. We made it through the line — everyone was very nice — staked a claim to part of a table, and in a few minutes our pizzas arrived. They were if anything better than Blaze in the OC. I had BBQ chicken with ricotta instead of gorgonzola and mushrooms instead of banana peppers — top notch. The incredibly busy guy at the counter took the time to ask me if he’d put enough BBQ sauce. David’s meat pizza was great and we both noticed the crust was perfectly done where often at Blaze in OC we got soggy crust. Kind of amazed that they put a Blaze pizza in Cabazon, even more amazed that it is perfect. Except for the crowds.

I’ve only had Blaze Pizza one other time so I was excited to see this place pop up in my search when shopping at the outlets. A couple important things worth mentioning about my experience: — The Daiya(vegan) cheese is kept covered and away from the other cheese tubs to prevent accidental cheese mixing. — When the gal making my pizza saw the note about my pizza being vegan, she caught my attention to make sure I saw her switching out her cheese covered gloves with a new pair before handling my toppings. Do they do this at every Blaze Pizza? I honestly couldn’t tell you. If other locations already do that, then great! But if they don’t, this location is a great example of how to please your vegan customers :) My pizza was VERY delicious! This place was super crowded on a Sunday afternoon. It was also crazy raining outside which might be a contributing factor. But I can’t really deny it’s popularity.

First of all, it’s a nice surprise to see a place like this in a shopping outlet. It’s filling, cheap, and easy. Although I do enjoy Pieology better because of their pesto, herb butter strips, and cinnamon sugar strips. I die for those at Pieology. But if I weren’t to compare, Blaze’s custom pizza pies are just as great. Like everyone has said, Subway to sandwiches, Chipotle to burritos, Blaze/Pieology to pizza. You walk down the line and pick your sauce, cheese, meats, and veggies. There’s a lot of options and it’s unlimited. For ~$ 8, it’s a great deal. The pesto was a letdown here though. It barely had pesto flavor and resulted in more of an olive oil texture which only made the pizza more of a mess. I’d skip on the pesto next time. Extra tip, you can split the customization half and half or however you like. It truly is a one of a kind pizza made for you.

The Subway of pizza! If you can imagine yourself ordering at Subway, you order the same way here. You begin with the crust selection, then the sauce, next the cheese, then you have the meats, and last the veggies. Then, its off to the oven it goes. The pizza comes out pretty quickly so the line moves and the wait isn’t long. I do love how the staff greets you and if its your first time they walk you thru the process of ordering. I’ve been here plenty, but, I see them stop and help newbies thru the line. For a single build your own pizza, its a lil less than $ 8. Its a good sized pie too and you can put whatever you want on it. It is thin crust, and if you request, they can do a gluten free crust too. It is very tasty. Honestly, I do like Pieology pizza a bit better than Blaze, but, I won’t knock em down stars just because of it. It is pretty darn tasty! If you’re at the outlets, I recommend stopping by and giving Blaze a try!

Best idea EVER for Blaze to come to the Cabazon Outlet. Food at malls, especially Outlets usually really blows. It is always a challenge to either shop fast enough to leave when the guys get grumpy/hungry. That’s totally NOT possible at this Outlet, WAY too much damage to be done. They open at 11 am, we went shortly after and beat the crowds, lines out the door the rest of the day. Service is nice, but SLOW, they still need to work on that. Once it was in the oven, it all went super fast, prepping the crust and getting our pizzas made took a good 20 minutes, way too long. Still, the pizza and salad was excellent, perfect really, huge, filling, plenty of left overs, at $ 7.95 each a great price, we had a great lunch here and snack for that evening!
