L’occitane

I’m a huge fan of L’Occitane, and I own a large selection of their products. This is one of a favorite stores. Yes, its smaller than the others, which usually means they don’t carry everything. But the lady at this store was exceptionally helpful, kind, and knowledgable. I thought I knew everything there was to know about all their products, but she showed me something new and sent me out with a new purchase!

This is one of their smaller boutiques and it’s very quaint. Located at The Commons, the parking is never too crazy except for holidays. But don’t let that stop you from the experience.
They do a great job merchandising as a whole and you can try most of their products with the testers provided. And man the products smell so good – my favorite is the Citrus Verbena Summer Fragrance and that entire line:
«Enriched with organic verbena from Provence, lemon oil from Sicily and grapefruit extract from Italy, this new summer fragrance tones and leaves the skin scented with an invigorating and fruity fragrance.»
OMG, that whole line is ridiculously delicious!
Having worked and trained at this particular location almost 10 years ago, I have a bias for this shop and enjoy stopping in every once in a while to see what’s new. Always smells amazing! :)

I wonder if L’occitane gives free supplies to the 4 Seasons. I went to this place after trying their shampoo and soap at the 4 Seasons in Westlake Village. Apparently they get a LOT of traffice because of that.
The lady who helped me out here was super sweet and helpful. Ended up buying way more stuff that I intended too.
The fact that I did not think through how I was going to fly with this back home is my fault. The fact that I ended up checking my luggage which got lost is also my fault! Argh! Anyways, good store, good products and good service.

I went here over the holiday to buy a gift for my mother. Samples were out for products that weren’t in stock, products were not organized in a way that made sense — and the staff were obnoxious — not helpful and bordering on rude. Will buy L’occitane again, but not at this location.
