Wow, where do I even begin? Came for Father’s Day brunch and Lovi’s brought the A game. Everything Bagels to start were soft, steaming and fresh. Entre plates of Pastrami and Eggs with Latkas were mouth watering and made to order. Even my Sunday morning Bloody Mary was spicy and crisp! Service was fast and friendly and quick to refill the coffee. I will absolutely be returning to Lovi’s next time I am in the valley! As a hint, if there is a crowd, grab a seat in the bar area full menu is available to order without the wait time

Only because I have to give them a star if I want to write a review they will get one. It’s 6:30pm and it’s kinda dead and I can’t complain about the food or my waiter because food is good. What I am going to complain about is what I’m hearing from their kitchen staff, they are so rude and use foul language for everything and make derogatory and homophobic comments to almost anything. From someone sitting on a table to someone who is leaving. I’m Hispanic and I can hear what they are saying in Spanish and it’s sad that a business like Lovi’s allows this kind of behavior in their open kitchen where guess can see them interact and talk.

Super good food! We were in the area for a week and ate here twice. They have a huge menu and offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes. The deli sandwiches looked great and they definitely didn’t skimp on the meat. There’s freshly made dessert and cookies/pastries in the cases(I recommend the Napoleon). There was a pretty covered patio too.

I was in LA for work and stayed in Westlake Village, so on the way south, my boss asked me to meet him for breakfast in Calabasas. When he suggested Lovie’s, I pictured your typical diner. Nope! Lovie’s is so cute! It has the best menu, delicious food, and awesome service! On a cheesy note, you can feel the Kardashian vibe all up in this place! Love it!

Decided to come here for brunch on a whim the other day. The plan was to go to CiCis café, but we didn’t feel like waiting 45 minutes for a table so we thought we’d check this place out — and glad we did! Not only is it beautiful and spacious, but the service is top notch and food is definitely up to par. Towering cinnamon French toast is the perfect combo of sweet, fruity, With a hint of buttery :) enough to share as well. What really made this place stand out though was the service. Ivan was so helpful, attentive, and a fun person to be around. You could tell he really cared and was happy to help. Definitely coming back, and definitely asking for Ivan!

Wow! It was not my intent to go here, there was a farmers market in Calabasas today so no parking anywhere which led me down thre street to Lovi’s. I’m very glad it did. First of all this place is a massive restaurant. There is a huge dining room, a whole nother bar room and a decent sized patio. They were very busy but when we walked in they said where would you like to sit and took us right to there patio, which is BEAUTIFUL by the way. This place does not look like a normal deli that you would go to. It looks much fancier. The waitress was there asking us for drinks and water within one minute of sitting down. So I got a latte.(This is the only reason I gave it a four and not a five star rating) because the latte was about half foam and only about half latte. For $ 4.95 was not very nice. We ended up ordering the«Towering cinnamon French Toast«$ 12.50. and the«Healthy Start combo«$ 12.95. Along with a couple eggs on the side. TIP — DON’T order the eggs on the side, they will charge you $ 2.95PEREGG! The menu is massive, they had almost everything I could think of. With all the food we got along with the coffee and latte we walked out of there for $ 44.25. Very nice!

The worst meal ever!!! Waited 45 mins for only to eat raw meat. Ordered sliders and after eating half of the patty, saw it was purple and raw. Showed to our server and she was horrified and confirmed raw meat. Once she took it back to the kitchen, the manager came with zero concern for me the customer only concern was deniability and then tried to lie and cover it up denying what the server said… Disgusting customer service… Do not eat there. Overpriced and gross!!!

Worst chicken & waffles in Calabasas! Ok, the waffle was ok but the chicken was dry with no flavor. Fire your cooks now!!! or shut this place down!!! Embarrassing to be in a cool city like Calabasas.

We had the deli salad(yummy), corned beef & skinny fries(ok) and the chicken pot pie(yummy). Chicken pot pie is huge. Crust is flakey and delicious. Made perfect! The corned beef was a little fatty and dry and almost tasteless(how they managed fatty/dry?that is the question). Even coleslaw didn’t help it. But the deli salad was yummy and enough for all to munch on. Ask for bagel chips /pickles or u may not get any: / 2 out of 3 not bad. Not perfect like Brent’s deli. However, it’s close and will come again hoping for 3 out of 3 in the future.

While the food is good, the service is TERRIBLE! We just placed an order for our office that was over $ 250, we ordered 4 Pastrami Sandwiches Sky High Style, which they did not make Sky High. When i called to ask for new sandwiches we got a lot of attitude. They did remake our sandwiches but required we give the old ones back(which meant people waiting on their food) and when we got the sandwiches the amount of coleslaw on them to make them«Sky High» was laughable! Needless to say in the long run not worth the money. Which is too bad because we order lunch for our office frequently and are loyal to the local restaurants that provide good service and food.

After driving by Lovi’s every weekday on the 101 Fwy, I finally dined there on a Saturday night. What a delightful, culinary experience with white glove service! Mom got Chicken and Waffles. My Mom is extremely difficult to please(she’s old, Asian, and a foodie), but said her meal was the best American meal she’s ever had. Waffle was golden, brown and delicious. Fried chicken was juicy, savory, and perfectly crispy. If Mom is happy, everyone’s happy. My husband(Italian) ordered Spaghetti with Meatballs and it hit the spot! He thought the noodles needed more suace, and our waitress brought him extra red sauce — he was a happy camper! I was craving a salad and ordered the«Jessica Salad». Amazing! Perfect combination of sweet and savory. The chicken was flavorful and crispy. A bit too many cranberries, but I like cranberries and the blue cheese offered the perfect savory balance! I asked for a side of toasted rye bread with cream cheese. The toasted rye was AMAZING. Best rye bread ever. When the bill came, I wasn’t even charged for this delightfulness. Lovi’s offers awesome food, service, value, and experience! Beautiful location and views too. I’ll be back many more times!

The Chicken Pot Pie is phenomenal and it’s beyond huge– it is like the size of a round birthday cake. I devoured it– not all in one sitting but later in the evening I finished it. ;p It was a lunch and dinner type of meal. That flaky crispy crust with chunks of chicken and potato, peas, carrots, celery and onion in a nice creamy sauce. This thing was $ 16.95– it’s expensive, I saw pics on Unilocal of it and wanted it but I didn’t see it anywhere on that huge menu. It is damn worth it though. It takes 15 minutes to make and they do it upon ordering. I also got a sample of the Black Pastrami for $ 14.95– it’s a decent size sandwich but that too is a bit pricey– but I can’t complain it was wonderful. The meat is tender and there is some crazy ridiculous sauce they put on it– just a tab bit of it so you can get all the flavor of the meat too. I could split either of these dishes. This place is huge– there is so much seating from an outdoor patio area, inside seating with separate rooms for private parties and a bar area with the games on.

This place is exceptionally impressive if you are looking for a bunch of food options! It gets pretty crowded and noisy in the larger room, so we tend to dine at the bar with a full menu. On game days, everything seems to get really crowded and service struggles, but the servers have always been exceptionally friendly. The food is good– especially the lox and bagel! It is a little bit more of a pricier restaurant, so I would recommend going around brunch to really get the best experience.

Ordered the Israeli salad on a bed of greens. What I received was a salad of all greens with a garnish of about 2 tablespoons of chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. Also ordered a potato latke and it was over cooked. Noisy environment too. Waiter was polite but spread thin. As others have stated they have too wide a selection. I also spoke to manager about the salad. No credit issued. He took out the menu and agreed that he could see how it could be confusing. Saw that salad was untouched. But no credit offered or given. I won’t be back.

Came here for breakfast last weekend and WOW you really need to sit in the bar to be able to have a conversation with your tablemates. The first time we were here we noted it noisy and ate in the bar. It seemed weird asking for a bar table on saturday morning so we ate in the main dinning room. I believe its the metal tables that makes this place so noisey. Yes there was a group of rowdy senior men discussing the NY Times and that made it even louder. Boyfriend had the fruit parfait for breakfast which is served in a giant schooner or large Sundae Loving Cup. I had the chicken & waffles. It was just OK. The chicken was a large flattened breast but flattened so flat that it was dry and over cooked. The waffle could have been a bit crispier. My boyfriend’s daughter had an egg white omelet which she enjoyed very much. She ordered a Buffalo wrap to go for lunch. The food is really great here but on off days its much more pleasant. They need some acoustic treatment in the restaurant either carpet, or ceiling tiles or something because its so noisy its hard to have a conversation.

So far I’m not a fan. I love the outdoor seating, restaurant layout and staff. We came here on a Sunday morning and got the following: Corned Beef and Hash with Potato Latke($ 15): it was OK the corned beef was too mushy for me where the texture was powdery where you don’t notice the flavor of corned beef. Our Potato Latke was burnt, thank goodness for the sour cream and apple sauce Kids Grilled Chicken Breast and fries($ 8.50): My son liked it but he said his fries were cold and soft. Kids PB&J sandwich and fries($ 6.50): my daughter liked it but also said the fries were cold and soft. Bowl Matzo Ball Soup($ 7.95): I had better. My husband said that he’ll go there again to try something else. I might go there for happy hour because their bar drinks looks incredible.

My friend suggested we check out this place. They’ve really changed up what formerly used to be Red Robin(which we sorely miss). Lovi’s appears to be a fancied up diner with lots of big windows and natural light streaming in gives it a nice open feel. There’s a pretty covered patio in the front but it was a little hot in Calabasas to be sitting outside that afternoon. There’s a lot of variety on the menu. Everything from soups and sandwiches to sushi; they even have a full breakfast menu. My friend and I were merely trying to meet up to chat but stay out of the heat as well, so we ordered drinks/dessert. I ordered their strawberry milkshake, made with real ice cream and topped with whipped cream. It tasted very fresh but didn’t taste have a much of a strawberry flavor(probably because I’m so used to the artificial flavoring in most milkshakes). It cost some 5 bucks and change and probably could have been bigger for that price, but it was ok. Our server was attentive but didn’t hover; those are the best types of servers in my opinion. She let us sit and chat and later left us the bill indicating there was no hurry. I’d return to try some of their dishes.

I’ve been here several times and my experience is always pleasant. Walking in you the you’d think it was a 4 star restaurant not a deli. The décor is sleek & modern. They have a nice outdoor patio. Today(Saturday) they had someone on the patio playing the saxophone. I’m not sure what the music schedule is & I didn’t see it posted anywhere but the music was nice. Not too loud. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 min for a table. And I’ve always been a party of 4 on a weekend so this is a good thing. I’m all about service & the service is always great. Particularly the bus boys. The bus boys are on it! If you need something, ask one of them. Upon sitting down every table is given pickels & bagel chips. The menu is massive. On par with Jerry’s Deli. It’s a bit overwhelming to be honest. They have everything from matzo ball soup, burgers, sushi to enchiladas. Today’s visit in particular my food was just okay. The food wasn’t particularly bad per say but it wasn’t good deli food. I ordered the patty melt, medium-well. It was well done. The Kraft single slices they added weren’t melted all the way. Kind of important for a patty ‘melt’. But in the past my food has been really good. So I’ll let today slide. I’m still a fan. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4 for good service.

Nice patio, outside bar, lounge, and dining area. Modern design, silver metal tables with side studs, comfy chairs, this is not your standard deli. In fact, far from it — the menu includes mexican and sushi, too. Identity issue? We will see. Lovi’s prices are really reasonable, closer to McDonald’s than Jerry’s. Salads are huge! Breakfast served all day. I like. Hot Brisket Sandwich($ 13.95) — very lean, tender, but a little dry and underseasoned. Good bread and au jus.(4.0 stars) A little on the loud side, no curtains /fabrics to soften. Overall, I was pleased with the ambiance, service, and food. Thumbs up.
