Nature-Scape Landscape

Gilbert Barajas and his team did a fantastic job on my Hollywood Hills project; it looks beautiful! He has thoughtful, creative ideas and was very accommodating, even when I changed my mind a few times. His team did a major site cleanup and re-​landscape, which included masonry, new plantings (including on a very steep hill), and irrigation. I highly recommend using Gilbert for your next landscaping project.
Nature-​Scape also provides a maintenance service, which I will be using. Oftentimes homeowners install a fantastic landscape only to see it fall into disrepair because they hire a mow-​and-​blow gardener to maintain it instead of hiring staff who know how to care for plants. After spending so much $$, I want to be sure to enjoy it for a long time.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. So many things went wrong with my project, from start to finish. I spent a lot of money with them to have very mediocre service and less than acceptable plant installation. Plants that needed sun were planted in the shade, and plants that needed room to grow, were planted right next to other plants needing to grow, making both of them unable to flourish. There was no rhyme or reason to how things were planted and they look sloppy. I have never landscaped before so I constantly stated that I defer to their expertise. The outcome, was horrible. Zero pride in what they do, Zero customer service. They don’t return calls, they don’t respond to emails, they don’t listen to your ideas, they talk over you, they don’t explain anything. They made what should have been a wonderful experience horrible.

I had a horrible experience with Nature-​Scape and I would not recommend them to anybody. They left my hydrangeas out in the sun before planting and told me they will look nice next year. They planted lavender plants almost touching the rose bushes. When I called and asked them about this, they would never respond. They also planted sun-​loving plants behind the rose bushes and under rose petals. Of course they all died due to lack of sun. Instead of planting some Star Jasmine up against my fence, they planted them in front of the Podocarpus.
Nature-​Scape was very expensive and after they received my money they were indifferent to my concerns. I thought if I went to a high-​end company I would be paying for better service. This was not the case. I would never, ever use them again.
