I have been going to Kristy Malta for many years beginning when Leila’s Salon was in this same location. She is professional, talented & incredibly nice. She stays on top of new techniques & styles & knows what looks great on her customers.
She moved to Obasi Salon a little while ago. This salon is everything Kristy represents. State of the art, soothing, clean & gracious. Going into the salon, everyone is welcomed warmly. A real asset for the community.

The best hair dresser in town is Marina. Not only she does a phenomenal job, she also has a great personality. I’ve done from color, cut, extensions, makeup, eyelashes and much more with her. She is always accommodating and works around your schedule. She always keeps up with the latest trends, if you are a fashionista. I have very frizzy curly hair and she always makes it smooth as silk. Go ahead, give her a call at the Obasi Salon, you won’t regret it. By the way the salon manager Kristy is very friendly and professional, you can see that she truly cares for the salon.

Kristy Malta is a true stylist, and I would sing her praises to anyone that would listen. She has been doing my hair for over 8 years now, and I’ve never received so many complements on my hair style. She is professional, exceptional at her job and cares a lot about her clients. The salon is relaxing and beautiful with lots of easy parking. Everyone from Kristy, to the other stylists to the receptionist, Hannah, makes you feel like family. I would highly recommend Obasi and Kristy.

I have been going to Hannah Hill for years now and couldn’t imagine letting anyone else touch my hair! She is always up for switching my hair up (which is often), and has a way of taking my hard to describe ideas and changes and turning it into an amazing haircut, color, whatever it is we may be doing. Simply put, she is the BEST. And on top of being the best hairstylist I have ever had, she is an all around pleasure to work with and be around during the sometimes long color process. She is energetic, personable, and cheerful all the time. I’ve gotten so many compliments and questions of who does my hair over the years that I have even begun carrying her business card! She really is one of the best.
Additionally, the salon is so beautiful and has great energy. Entering the salon for any service really does remind you that these services are luxuries, and you feel it with the luxe vibe.

Marina G is fantastic! If you are in search of a great Salon with Great people and a stylist that truly cares for your hair than look no further. I recently moved to Calabasas and thought for sure I would not be able to find a stylist to fix my hair type but upon doing my research I read about Marina G and thought I would give her a try. I admit I was skeptical and wasn’t sure if she could handle my type hair but she exceeded my expectations and I am so thankful that I found her. If anyone is in search of a stylist that does «All» types hair you should contact Marina G she is the best!

Kristy Malta had been doing my oldest daughter’s hair for over 25 years. She is a very talented stylist. I live in Henderson, NV, but she squeezes me in when I am in town. She just moved into Obasi Salon about a month ago.
What a great place. It is very eye appealing as it is done in cobalt blue and white. The staff is very friendly and the place has a great ambiwtnce. It is very upscale without being overpowering or intimidating. Kristy runs on time and does an amazing job with my hair. The parking is really easy and it is located in a Gelson’s shopping center.

Marine Grigoryan is truly fantastic! She is undoubtedly the BEST hair stylist I have ever had! She has been doing my hair for a few years now and I would never let anyone else do my hair. Marine learned from the finest professionals at Paul Mitchell and got certified by Yuko in the Japanese hair straightening processl. She always uses the finest products and tools available. I have longer than shoulder length, naturally curly and frizzy, extremely problematic hair. My hair is in better condition than it has ever been, despite twice yearly Japanese straightening treatments and semi permanent color every 4 to 6 weeks. Marine is a consummate professional and an extraordinary person who is kind, gentle, sincere, skilled and experienced. She is a meticulous perfectionist who takes great pride in her work and loves to take excellent care of her clients! She consistently helps me look my very best. I am very grateful to have the pleasure of her services and to know her. I most highly recommend her!

Great, clean salon. The staff is really friendly and the stylists are fantastic. They really know their stuff. Hannah Hill is great and I recommend her to everyone. She really listened to what I wanted and made my vision come true. Plus, they treats and snacks with coffee and tea.

Love my hair! Great experience. The girls were so sweet! Lots of parking and easy to find! Hannah did an amazing job and did exactly what I asked for!
