Very friendly and helpful employees. Lots of comic books, but no Deadpool unfortunately which is the only comic books I like to read(oops). Good amount older games for decent prices, they check around to make sure they’re giving you good deals. Not a whole lot of more popular older games, but things like Hey You Pikachu or early Final Fantasies are on the shelves which is cool. Lots of Magic cards, they also have MTG tourneys every day at 5, I was told. They have signed comic books too. Definitely worth checking out. 4 star only because the Building is pretty dinky and their collection is still pretty small as well as not allowing returns — but they do let you check their games in-store before you buy to make sure they work which is nice.

First thing to say is that the location and size is very weird. Unique isn’t exactly the right word, but definitely different than the larger retro game stores I’ve been to. It’s in a little shack right behind a gas station. But never judge a book by its cover, but by its content. When you enter the store, it feels less like a store and someone’s personal collection that they are selling. Not specifically talking about how they treat their video game, which they do take care of their games, but more so how little video games and comics they have, and how everything is just A and B grade material. Very few sports games and lots of video game gems. As well, everything is lined up on the walls and they don’t really have multiple copies. This may not look like a complaint, and while quality over quantity is very important, you need a stock to run a store. Outside of the PS2 collection, their retro game collection is VERY thin. You lose the whole digging for games and grabbing a bunch of obscure titles for a couple of buck. They have a lot of cool stuff, but just not enough. Comic Books are fine though, you can go digging for hours. Another thing I didn’t like was their prices. Expensive is not the right word to describe, but rather noncompetitive. Even though I picked up two games that I have been looking for forever, I really only bought it out of reluctance and to support the store. I get that video game stores price items accordingly, but if everything was like 15% cheaper, I would’ve bought a lot more and paid twice as much as I did. Pricing is always something that businesses and customers will always argue forever, but I would be lying if I didn’t say they weren’t looking out for the customers. I know it sounds like I’m being to harsh on the store, but that’s because it’s near perfect. It is so close to being the one stop shop for everybody to buy video games from, and comics for those interested as well. One person with $ 300 dollars could come and buy every dreamcast game, and that’s just ridiculous because that day can come, and then they’re out of dreamcast games. Same goes with NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and Sony Playstation. If I were to rate this store as a video game, it would be Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. In the end, if you’re in the area, stop by. Seriously, they are worth checking out.

A great place for retro gaming and comics! I’m more of a comic guy, so when I saw their comic book boxes, my jaw nearly dropped to the floor! Met Jason, the owner, very cool and down to earth guy! And they have a ton of Hot Wheels too! So, if you’re into thumbing through comic book boxes like me, you need to come here!
