Came here because we saw it had good Unilocal reviews, big mistake. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good. Service was slow, food was really bland and expensive. Definitely not worth the price.

All seasons recently catered my wedding and we were over the moon with their delicious food! The guests couldn’t stop raving about the amazing steak! The events co-ordinator Joanne was also a pleasure to work with and helped answer any questions I had prior to the event. Their food and service was amazing and I would recommend all seasons for anyone wanting truly amazing catering and service for their wedding!

Interesting to read all these reviews. It seems that you either had a good experience or a bad one. Luckily for us, we had a great meal. We made reservations so we were seated right away when we arrived. Menus, water and bread arrived soon after. We started with the crab cake appetizer and each had salads which were all good. For entrees, I had the Lamb Shank with Polenta and my wife had the Seafood Risotto — again both were perfectly cooked. Portions were good too. Service was on point the entire evening and we really enjoyed our meals. Not sure if we were just lucky that evening. For us, we would recommend this restaurant and will be back during our next visit to Calistoga.

Went here with my daughter and had a great meal. We walked in without a reservation and were told 30 minutes(reasonable but surprising as there were plenty of open tables). Decided to wait at the bar and eventually are there. Good decision! We shared the ribeye and the seafood risotto. Both were excellent. Cheesecake with white chocolate and huckleberries was a great finish. The bartender /manager was attentive without being smothering. Funny thing — most of the tables did not fill up and we saw several other groups leave when they were told 30 minutes. Best I can figure they were managing the number of tables carefully given either servers or kitchen staff. Glad we did not walk out!

Yes, and no. A little past history. We have been to All Seasons Bistro probably about four times. The first time was when my friend rented out the whole restaurant for his friends and family for his 50th birthday. All Seasons did a great job with an all-vegetarian menu, great food, and good service. The several times that we have been there since then, the food has been great, but the service, when we’ve had one particular waiter, has been seriously lacking. My husband didn’t want to go there any more because of his snarky attitude. When we walked by and saw him in there, we kept on walking. However, since it was my birthday, I prevailed, and we once again, ventured in. We walked in, and as I was taking off my sunglasses and putting them on my head, he walked up to us and the first thing he said was, «You looked cooler with your shades on.» Really? Wow! That’s how you greet a customer? I was taken aback and just said, «I know.» What else could I say? Ug. I think that if he would have chuckled after saying that and then said, «Oh I’m just kidding, welcome, welcome, please come in and let us serve you» I would have been fine with it. We took our seats with my husband sitting against the wall, and me sitting in a chair opposite him. A few minutes later, another waiter came by, picked up my purse on the back of my chair, and moved it to the bench next to my husband. I couldn’t believe that another person picked up my purse. NEVER touch a lady’s purse. It’s like grabbing for a man’s wallet. You just don’t do that. All he needed to do was ask me to move my purse from my chair, for whatever reason he wanted me to do that, and I gladly would have. Moving on. We both ordered cosmos, and they were very good. We ordered a beet salad and both ate that. It was really good and very fresh. It had red and gold beets, arugula, mache, pistacios, blue cheese crumbles, and an orange vinaigrette dressing. It was really good. We both ordered the vegetarian lasagna. Being a vegetarian, I’ve eaten a lot of lasagna in my days. At worst, it’s a bunch of fat noodles, a jar of Ragu, and a pound of cheese. All Seasons Bistro’s is the furthest thing from that. It’s like the delicate noodles were just the support system for the amazing spinach and mushroom filling with the perfect blend of ricotta and mozzarella. But it was the sauce that was the stunner. It was slightly spicy, but not overpowering in any way, slightly sweet, and had some undertones of an earthy spice, like cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice. It was divine. We both ate all of ours, even though we were really full. We ordered a martini to share, and it came out full to the top of the glass. Our waiter asked if we’d both take a sip, and then he filled up the glass again. That was very nice of him. Perhaps he was making up for his initial snarky comment. As we looked around at the rest of the staff, we noticed that no one was smiling or seemed happy in any way. It was like they were all miserable. One of the bussers that came to our table was wearing scented clothing smelling of laundry detergent. Anyone that knows anything about wine knows that you don’t want competing smells altering your palate when drinking a good wine. In a place that boasts a nice wine selection, this seems counterproductive. The bottom line is, the food is great, but the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. With a happier attitude in there, All Seasons Bistro could really rock little Calistoga.

Fantastic burger and attentive service. A casual place to grab lunch with friends in Calistoga.

Food was decent but overpriced for portions and quality. There were also ants next to our window table and what looked to be an eyebrow hair in my salmon.

We came here because the high stars in the Unilocal reviews. But when we got here, the service was lackluster. I don’t know what the rules were with the bread, but we were never served bread with our meal. The fries served with the salmon BLT were served with no ketchup. The food was also disappointing. There was no flavor in the grilled salmon BLT. You’d think that the chef would give it some flavor. The rice in the eggs benedict was overpowered by the gravy.

Stopped by for lunch during the off season and had the place to ourselves! Enjoyed and devoured a delicious salad, gnocchi and chicken sandwich! I would come back again when looking for simple and tasteful food in the area. Service was classic, fast and unfussy.

As a new resident of the area I am excited to have access to so many great restaurants. So imagine my disappointment as I took my family to All Seasons for lunch, and got what may have been the worst service I have ever had. The only reason I can justify one star is because the food was actually good. The person working in the restaurant, seemed like an owner or a manager, sat us down promptly as we walked in. And forgot about us. We politely called him over in about 10 minutes, he acknowledged that he saw us, but got distracted by someone-else that had walked in. Five more minutes go by and we do manage to get his attention to give our order. We ask a few questions about the menu, and to our surprise, the person serving us, acts completely annoyed with us, quiet rude and dismissive to the point that I had asked the folks at the table if we should just walk out and go elsewhere. Since we had already spent 15 minutes there, we decided to stay. When a part of our order comes out, we ask for bread, and again it is a long wait. Finally bread comes out towards the end of our appetizer course. The interaction with the waiter continues to be an annoyance to him and he is not afraid to show it, including rolling his eyes when I ask if a certain dish may be served with dressing on the side. At this point I am embarrassed that this is the place I picked for the family holiday lunch. Then the check comes out and the waiter informs me that a standard tip is already included in the bill. I was happy to pay for the food, which I enjoyed, but tipping for that service was shocking. We did pay the full bill, but needless to say, in an area that has so many great places to eat, we will not be returning.

Came here for lunch during a weekender in Calistoga this past Feb. Everything we had was really good. Lobster bisque(with a little heart-shaped croûton in honor of Valentine’s Day), beet salad, sesame ginger chicken salad, and French dip. The server was a little bit off but the food more than made up for it.

You cannot judge a restaurant by its frontage. This place serves good food with equally good service. We ordered the ribeye steak and the seafood risotto. They don’t have a kids menu, but they made our girls fettuccine pasta with grilled chicken. I wanted to order the chicken because the pictures on Unilocal looked so good. But what we ordered was good. No regrets. My husband liked his steak. If we were close by, we’ll more than likely come back. Price of each meal is right under $ 30 each. Their service was quick. We were seated soon as we got in, and the food came in beautifully set and the wait time was reasonable.

Warm spinach salad is amazing. We grabbed lunch here after the spa. Wonderful interior and friendly service. The food was great and perfectly light for a warm day. Pesto prosciutto salad highly recommended for a starter. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. Every one loved their burger as well. The beet salad is also perfect. Desserts are equally incredible. Our table had the banana pineapple tart and orange almond cake were so light and the perfect size. Indulgent with over whelming.

Mothers Day Brunch success! We decided to stop in Calistoga on the way to Mumm, and chose this place because a) it had good reviews and b) still had reservation slots available an hour out! It was not what I expected it to be — Italian bistro style but owned/run by a super sweet and attentive middle eastern man. The place was not packed but not empty and he made sure everything was to our liking in a non overbearing way For the food, I got the creamy scrambled eggs, sausage link and hash browns. My bf got the duck confit with veggies and a poached egg. Both were delicious, although very over seasoned. I was super pleased with the duck confit dish minus that, as it had a medley of veggies I would never have thought to include in a breakfast dish. Shaved asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, peas, squash, broccolini, all cut small enough to not have to shove heapings in your mouth! My only reasoning for not giving it five stars is that both dishes overpowered in the seasoning of salt and pepper, and far too much parsley. If those were all dialed back a bit, five stars all the way! I do appreciate that I now have a cute bistro to recommend when going to Calistoga and I look forward to returning

Our Calistoga weekend dinner choice for a Saturday night. Why? All Seasons Bistro promotes organic and chemical free produce, meat, and fish. The wine list is simple, but adequate, so we ordered a meritage(red blend) and a Zinfandel from the list without spending too much time in analysis. The Zin was better, but it was close. The service is VERY good. We found the food to be delicious and creative. We didn’t have to ask for water due to the drought. And, the glasses were always full. The waiter made sure what we wanted, when. Everything arrived in the agreed-upon sequence. We could focus on each disk individually without distraction :-). Highlights included: * Lobster Bisque * Beet salad * Filet of Halibut * Lamb Shank * Chocolate torte The Beet salad and the Halibut were spectacular. The Halibut was a special. If it’s available, I do highly recommend it. It was cooked to perfection, and was arranged with the sides in a very pleasing manor. Each bite was a pleasure. The beet salad was very fresh and had a blend of different elements that made it a taste symphony. It was HUGE… I suggest you split it. The Lamb Shank is everything we wanted, but we did need to add salt. Then it was fine. The chocolate torte featured superb ice cream with caramel highlights. The torte itself was pound-on-the-table good. Note: for regular dining, this is a small and intimate space. But, it appears that there’s a big room in back with a BIG table(for groups). Enjoy!

I was wavering back and forth between this restaurant and another one while reviewing menus online, and decided on this one when I saw the cassoulet on the menu. I was SO excited about it. But when I got there, it wasn’t on the menu anymore. :-(I ordered the duck instead, which was very good(it’s hard to get duck right). The server, who was lovely, recommended a good glass of wine, too. I was very underwhelmed by the dessert, though. I ordered a chocolate tart with homemade ice-cream. The toffee ice-cream was delish, but the tart wasn’t actually a tart at all. It was more like an overdone chocolate lava cake. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the worst I’d ever had. Overall, totally disappointed that I didn’t get the cassoulet, but good place in general.

I went here for lunch with my husband, and based off the hamburger I got, I would have to give it 3 stars. If you account for my husband’s salmon BLT, I would go up to 3.5, but since you can’t give half a star, I went for three. The hamburger with gruyère cheese I had was good but not out-of-this-world. As other reviewers have mentioned, it was juicy, BUT it didn’t taste like they had seasoned the meat, so the meat itself wasn’t especially flavorful. I’ve had better burgers at many pubs or restaurants, and I was hoping for more, especially since when I asked the waiter for a recommendation between the french dip roast beef, another sandwich I was contemplating(can’t remember what it was now), and the burger, he with no hesitation at all recommended the burger because they were so good there.(And I am really regretting my choice to get a burger there because now I have heard so many good things about the burgers across the street at the Hydro Bar & Grill from both Unilocalers and a local.) On the other hand, I really enjoyed the bite I had of my husband’s salmon BLT — everything on it was really great already(how could it not be with salmon and bacon on it) and the orange dill aioli was an unexpected and delicious addition. I would definitely recommend that sandwich. They also had a cheesecake on their dessert menu that sounded delicious(but we opted out) so despite my mediocre burger experience, I would still give this restaurant another shot for the lobster bisque that many Unilocalers raved about and to try to the cheescake.

We had some time in between wine tastings and needed a place to grab lunch. Of course we used Unilocal to find a place and we ended up at All Seasons :) Everything we ordered was excellent… we all got sandwiches and the way they prepare them is excellent! The bread was grilled. On the menu it states ‘really good onion rings’…And omg they are GOOD! You only get three, but they are big ones. Whatever they do to make the batter is delicious. The fries are great too. Pricing is reasonable on the food and wine… so check it out!
