A New Look

After reading a couple good reviews about the place I decided to give it a try. I went in for underarm waxing without an appointment and it was a short wait which I was pleased with. The waxing however, was a different story. She waxed my arms so fast it took only a couple minutes to do it and I thought that was fantastic until I saw the results at home. There were broken hairs and even small patches of hair that was missed. I ended up having to pluck 24 hairs that were missed. (I grew my hair out the recommended time so this wouldn’t happen) I know why I didn’t see it while I was there because the lighting was low. I thought you would need great lighting to see what you were doing. Fast forward three weeks, I decided to go back thinking the first time was maybe just a fluke. Same crap happened again. I won’t be going back for a third.
I gave it 3 stars because the lady was nice and I was a walk-​in each time and had a minimal wait.

I frequently visit A New Look for eye brow waxing, and facials when needed. Cori is my favorite esthetician she’s really professional, kind, and knowledgeable about aesthetics. The Owner Hanna is very knowledgeable as well.
Bottom line the spa is affordable and they do a good job. I highly recommend that Cori for brows & facials. I made the mistake of letting someone else assist me while Cori was off, and I was very unsatisfied.
