Racist. When i was on a business trip I went here with a friend of mine. We were seated, but never waited on. I could have understood if the place was busy, but it was not. I had to wave down a waiter and tell them after 10 minutes that no one had been to our table for drinks, food, anything. The waiter said they would be with us in a moment. 10 minutes past by and still nothing. The waiter I waved down or any other water for that matter was not busy at all, for there were times where the floor was completely empty of any waiters, and since we were seated by the kitchen, me and my friend could see them just standing there doing nothing. After about 30 minutes of wasted time we simply got up and left. BTW me and my friend are black and pakistani.

On December 28th…5 young men of color calmly walked into this establishment and sat down awaiting a waiter.
The server and manager immediately refused service to them.
The young men sat calmly awaiting the Calumet City Police Department to arrive along with the rest of the patrons… at which point… they calmly exited the premises… along with the support and respect of most of the patrons.
You are not allowed to profile our youth and make a dime in our neighborhoods.
That Denny’s next to Sam’s Club? Ride down Torrence to IHOP… or west on 159th to Blueberry Fields… or further south down Torrence to Around The Clock.
Let this restaurant shrivel up and die.

I got here at 11:43am and had my order taken at 12:01. Very disappointed in the time spanned BUT! The waitress «Elesha» brightened me and my brother’s morning with excellent customer service. She’s the reason I give this place 5 stars because I know it’s not her fault but she did HER job to keep us smiling and patient. Great job Elesha!

I never had a problem for breakfast. Great service every time and great food. Surprisingly the food looks exactly like the pics in the menu Lol.

Yes, I know it’s a Denny’s. I still don’t think I should be serviced so slowly.
Honestly I’ve never had a problem with the waitresses I’ve had in the past, and the food is what you would expect, but I seem to notice a fault in management. There are hard working people and then there are not. I feel as if work is not distributed properly.
The way the place is run just ruins the eating experience. I only come when someone invites me.

If you’re looking for amuse bouche, this is not the place to go. It’s a Denny’s.
You come here to get a belly full of greasy, delicious ridiculously cheap food. Not the ambiance, not the presentation, not the lighting. I’ll say it one more time. It’s a Denny’s.

free breakfast? how can you not go?
ok so its not the best place around… but free?
Denny’s free grand slam breakfast tuesday was a deal not to be passed up…
went with 2 friends… wasnt crowded at all though and we were there about 8… seated right away… water and coffee…
2 pancakes… were tasty
2 sausage links… meh
2 pieces bacon… very good, that balance between limp and burnt
2 eggs… mine over easy… cooked perfect… friends had thiers scrambled… both said a little dry… but hey, its Denny’s…
PLUS it was free
super friendly waitress…
good service… coffe3 an water refilled quickly
FREE food :-)
3 grand slam breakfasts… 3 coffees… total bill… $ 3.50
$ 3.50? .we each laid down $ 5 … we walked out happy :-)
i wont mention how my Uncle raves about Denny’s nachos… i have yet to try them and i doubt ever will… but he is a little nuts anways :-)
