I went to the Giorgio Armani Outlet store in Camarillio, CA on Saturday May 19th, 2012 at noon. I was«greeted» by a very rude sales person who I later found out was the Manager. She was dressed in a purple shirt with matching purple eye-shadow and a very ill-fitting black suit. This lady approached me and in a very demeaning way asked if I had ever been to an Armani store before. Mind you, I am a female in my mid 20’s who works in the fashion industry. I was ready to try on some merchandise but her comment was very offensive. Later when I called the store to speak to the manager a very rude female answered the phone. I told her I had an unpleasant experience earlier that day with sales staff. The lady on the phone asked me to describe the person who was rude to me. She said it was she who approached me earlier that day. I told her the way she conducted herself was very unprofessional. She raised her voice and told me that corporate makes everyone ask if customers have shopped before at the store so that staff whos salary is based off commission can help us instead of a manager. If this is the policy to ask customers if they have ever been an Armani store before in a rude and degrading way, then corporate needs to re-think their sales procedures. The manager«apologized» on the phone(I use quotes because it was very insincere) and hung up the phone on me. Corporate: Your sales staff is making your brand look like dirt.

You have to know your Armani brands to get a deal here. Some of this stuff is 3 seasons or more ago, which is way out dated, unless it is a GA classic. The prices are good, but you have to know your stuff
