I am glad they now have a Rosemary/Parm bread you can choose from– really makes a good upgrade to your sandwich selection. I tried their cheesesteak the other day it was real proper! Today I opted for the club of course made it mikes way– I would rather come here than subway any day of the week!

Their meats and sandwiches in general are really delicious – I’d say the best of any sub chain. Freshly sliced meat and cheese and bread for every sandwich. Love their chip selection too. Unfortunately, every time I go in, it takes at least 20 minutes to get my food, even if there are only four or five people in front of me. They always have a lot of help but seem inefficiently organized. I also was overcharged last time: ordered a kids meal(plus a bag of chips) and a hot sub with chips and a drink. According to posted prices, the kids meal should have been $ 5.50 including the chips added on, and the hot sub regular was $ 8. Make that a combo with chips and a drink and it takes it to $ 11. So total with tax should have been around $ 16. We were charged $ 22 and not given a receipt. We only realized looking at menu prices while we ate. With the line so long, going back to get a refund wouldn’t have been worth it. Either a mistake or they aren’t charging their stated prices, but an $ 8 up charge is a pretty hefty mistake. Not thrilled and won’t go back.

GOOD! Cheap and great staff. They can toast your sandwich on the grill, and make a cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms.

For the perfect sandwich this is the place to go! They use good quality fresh ingredients. Wide variety of sandwiches, salads, and wraps to choose from. The staff is always friendly and will greet you the moment you walk in the door. I even got a gift card for a gift and they wrapped it in a Jersey mike’s bag and taped it with one of there stickers. Gift wrapped Jersey mike’s way. The place is always clean, always make your sandwich fresh and fast!

The sandwiches are very good. The service is so friendly. This is our favorite place to grab lunch or a picnic dinner.

I really like the sandwiches here. The cheesesteaks are pretty good. All the other«subs» are good too. But what I don’t get is the customer service. We usually come here at night. The chairs are always stacked up outside and it makes it look like its closed. Last night it was raining and the floor mat when you walk in was rolled up. Being the only person in there I thought it was closed. The employees weren’t too friendly on this visit. I got that funny feeling I was«that guy» that walked in when they didn’t feel like working. It was 7:30 I thought they closed at 9. After i ordered I watched one employee throw an empty box of gloves to another employees feet for her to pick up along with a smart ass comment. While he was waiting for my other sub to be done he was flipping his knife around. Then took his sweet time with one hand trying to put on avocado. No sense of urgency(I wasn’t in a hurry) but hit seemed he was moving slow on purpose. Customer service is a huge part of my experience. I love the subs but also wanted to be treated with respect too only if it’s for a few minutes.

SLOW! Terrible service, sandwiches were especially uninspiring compared to other Jersey Mikes locations. Never coming here again. Should’ve gone to Subway; would’ve been faster/cheaper/better. =FAIL

Always been good folks when I go in there… They make my sandwiches pretty easily even though I have specific instructions every time. There was however one time they ran out of bread? How does that happen when you have a sandwich shop? Haha… That’s the only reason I have then one star off.

Great service, awesome sandwiches and everything is prepared to order. The hot sandwiches have awesome amounts of cheese and you will never have to worry about parking.

First time at this location and what a TERRIBLE experience! Ordered two regular subs and one was half the size of the other. When I asked if they could fix the smaller sub, they got out a ruler and said no! OMG! A ruler?!! Seriously?!! They had to bring out the manager who also measured and refused to fix it! She could care less of the scene she was creating in front of other customers who were waiting in line. How embarrassing! I said why are you arguing with the customer?! I normally love going to Jersey Mike’s and the service is always top notch at other locations but I will NEVER return to this location again! What happened to the customer is always right? Major FAIL for this location! Stay away!

this place became my favorite sandwich place. Much better than Subway. It reminds me of delis in Spain. The food is fresh, fast, healthy, and really really good. I love the Turkey and Italian sandwiches. I love that they even know my order now hehehe. Try this place, you won’t regret it. the only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because they are a little bit too expensive. so I won’t be able to eat there as much as I would like. Plus if you don’t tell them, they put way too much oil and vinager, but apart from that, the service is great too.

Way too expensive for a tiny little wussy sandwich. I can go to a deli and get something with twice as much FRESH meat and FRESH veggies for less than they charge. They also always use way too much oil and vinegar. I don’t see what people like so much.

If «Jersey Mike» had any sense at all — he would’ve named this place Jersey Mike’s Hoagies. We don’t have«subs» back East, we have hoagies. This place is ridiculously expensive for what they’re selling. I miss being back in Philly where a hoagie was $ 4, much bigger and much tastier. Not a fan. And I’m not just saying that because I hate Jersey… It’s truly because for $ 8 a pop, you should get a happy ending.

ehhh… I don’t get the appeal here. It’s a sub like any other. Sure they slice the meat fresh in front of you, which is awesome, but the sandwich itself lacked flavor. And yes, I got it ‘Mikes Way’ so it should have had flavor. The bread had way too much cornmeal on the bottom-its supposed to act as a non-stick agent, its not supposed to be cornbread. Totally nonplussed and I probably won’t be back. Sorry all you Jersey Mike’s fans below me, I just don’t taste what you taste.

EMPLOYEE1. What will you be having, sir? WILMAR, uncertain and indecisive. I’ll have a… uh number… four. EMPLOYEE1, shocked. A number four? WILMAR. Yes, a number four. EMPLOYEE1. You got it. Beat. EMPLOYEE2 in the distance flips his head in WILMAR’s direction in surprising take, jaw dropping to the sandwich counter. EMPLOYEE2. Hey. Did you order a number four? WILMAR. Uh, yeah I did. Beat. EMPLOYEE2. How did you hear about the number four? WILMAR. Um… I think someone recommended it to me a while back. EMPLOYEE2. There’s a guy that comes in every day. He orders a number four all the time… Long beat. Business resumes as usual. ********************* Apparently, the number 4 is a secret. But not really. It’s provolone, proscuittini, and cappacuolo. Served Mike’s Way(without onions for me), it’s a nice refreshing change from the usual heavier lunch options. Their ingredients are definitely fresh, and while it’s a growing franchise and has that«chain» feel to it, their quality is not compromised. If you go to the Leisure Village location(the business posted here), order a number four and expect a similar episode such as mine from lunch today.

If you are going to have a sandwich lunch, this is THE spot. I like the«Mike’s Way» seasoning, and the sandwiches are really good, but what really prompted me to write this review is the service at this particular location. When I am in this area I look forward to eating lunch here, sure the food is decent but the crew working here always go out of their way to engage the customer and make them feel appreciated. Jersey Mike’s anywhere is better than Subway and Blimpie, but in Camarillo the service makes this an outstanding quick lunch bite. Mike has my business!

While the food is four stars good — they arguably make the best sub sandwich in the area but not the best in comparison to other places elsewhere(Wegman’s in New York, Other Coast in Seattle) — what I really appreciate about Jersey Mike’s is their service. Every one of their locations that I have been to have the most genuinely friendly, chatty but still extremely efficient and fast staffs and this new location near Leisure Village is no exception. In fact, the service gets six stars, especially when compared to the other sandwich chains Combine four star food with five star cleanliness and six star service and you get yourself the rare five star fast food franchise. The only negative that I could possibly come up with is that you have to deal with the 80 and 90 year old drivers that wreak havoc on the roads and in the parking lots of that area. Good luck with that!
