I’m here quite often to go through the drive-through although it takes a bit longer because it seems pretty popular in Camarillo and it is new. Being the only drive-through I still come to get my coffee. Today I allowed myself 15 minutes just for the drive-through to get my refresher before work it took that long with only one person ahead of me being a little frustrated I approached the window and the gentleman at the window was so nice he gave my drink for free without me saying anything. Very nice

Takes wayyyyy to long in the drive through. They are so slow, I could have gone inside and not sat in my car for 10 mins to get a coffee-but i have my kids in the car sleeping. The drinks are good but the service is SLOW and with no apology.

They’ve gotten much faster with service and more reasonable amounts of case food, so fewer outages. Really happy to see improvements here. Overall, the staff still seems overly flippant/unprofessional like they’re having fun but not too worried about Starbucks level professionalism in service/guest dialogue. For example, if they put an odd bubble lid on my coffee and I ask if they have a normal lid, I shouldn’t hear back that if they’d had a normal lid they would have given it to me. Try: sorry about that, we’re out at the moment.

Look the reality is Starbucks is Starbucks however. When the big guys in Camarillo decided to let this drive thru happen they obviously we’re doing tequila shots with the traffic planners in Oxnard… This has to be the biggest cluster with rude ass people parking their suv’s in the clean air spots, and anywhere else the yuppie crowd can do their social sell righteous justifications that rules don’t apply to them… Watch that exit too… How the city of Camarillo isn’t liable for the overextension of suspensions is beyond me on this one. Good luck I avoid this place like the plague!

I was completely amazed how the employees had a complete lack of professionalism. I and the customer ahead of me had to wait at least 10min to get our drinks under busy conditions this is not a bug deal, but when there are only 2 people that’s ridiculous. The staff were too busy joking around and talking(very loudly).

Well they get 2 stars today because at least one of the drinks in my order was correct! And, It was delicious and refreshing on a hot afternoon. I absolutely love a Starbucks treat but this location is always so slow, 15 min wait today and one of the drinks in my order was wrong! I’ve also had this experience early in the morning, and when I decide to park and venture inside too. The staff seem to have no sense of urgency or care factor, happily chatting among themselves. I’m not sure how they organize themselves but it seems each employee has a specific task and NO-ONE ventures outside of this. This isn’t the first time I’ve waited an eternity for an incorrect order. Can hardly believe I was so excited when I heard the drive thru was coming to this location. I won’t be returning again. It’s just too frustrating! Obviously this isn’t an owner operator business!

Very slow for a drive through — it is much faster to go inside. The staff doesn’t seem to be very careful with orders as well. Multiple times I’ve ordered decaf and ended up with caffeinated. That being said, it is sometimes more convenient than going inside and the service is friendly. Could use improvement.

Slowest drive thru experience and all I ordered was milk for my son. The line was about 5 cars long so I understand I will be waiting. Ok. But after an extended wait I finally get to the window and the milk isn’t ready. Seriously! Just milk. Cold no ice. No apology for the wait or anything. I liked this Sbux location better before it was a drive thru. And I’m not basing my one star rating on this one experience. The visits are constantly slow regardless of drive thru or inside visit. I hope they find a better method to deliver better service to their customers.

I have been coming here since this location opened. At first the drive thru was so slow it was about 15 – 20 minutes wait and took about the same time inside. Today it was under 8 minutes and it was very busy. I lived in San Diego where there is a drive thru on every corner and the wait is usually 5 minutes regardless of how busy it is. The girl at the window was so kind and professional. I’m only giving 4 stars because my coffee tastes watered down and flavorless. I ordered the same coffee yesterday and it was fine. Give them another shot of you were irritated with how slow the drive thru was.

First visit to this new location. Ordered decaf mocha latte at 9:30PM. I can confirm that I ordered correctly because it’s printed on the side of the cup. It wasn’t decaf!!! Couldn’t get to sleep until 3:30AM. Called and talked to the manager the next day and after a long uuuuhhhhh, pause I received a barely polite apology. They need to work on their customer service and quality control!

I love Starbucks I’m guilty. I used to say I would never pay so much moneys for coffee but I’ve been brained washed! Lol This Starbucks drive thru is soooooo slow! Slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow and did I mention slow?! I waited over 10 minutes for my drink the first time and the second time I waited 15 minutes and just drove off without it. What I do now is order through the app and pick it up(collect stars and earn free drinks) I will never again ever never ever go through the drive thru. Also the girls in the drive thru are so rude… Umm I’m paying over $ 5 for my nonfat upside down caramel macchiato at least be somewhat nice to your customers… damnit! But honestly BS to the side even if they’re rude I’m still gonna go to Starbucks. Sad reality… I do love Starbucks: p

I come here a lot and usually the customer service is wonderful. But, tonight there was a lady who was so rude, working the drive thru window. We said we had a reward she didn’t hear us and she said you owe 5.00 and I said no I have a reward nicely and she said well you have to tell us but not in a nice tone. I love the fact that Camarillo finally has a drive thru Starbucks. I never went to the location that was closed but reopened to make this location. The drive thru option makes a huge difference to me but the staff at this location are pretty slow and they frequently get orders wrong. I am not sure how complicated it is not to put whip cream on hot chocolate but they seem to get that wrong every other time it’s almost comical. I hope the service improves especially since having a drive thru should help bring in more money but right now it’s not doing much for this location in the way of service. To the owner you may need to give your employees mor training or hire better people. If you go here be sure to check your order before you leave.

So far my experience with this location has been awesome. I went in at 8am and there was a bit of a wait but nothing out of the normal. The employees have always been friendly and courteous towards me. I order an iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel and they always give me a generous amazing of caramel which is awesome :)

I’ve been through this drive thru twice. It’s all the same incompetent employees from the old store and now they are learning the drive thru. I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes. The guy who took my order would ask me what my order was repeatedly. I think he was doing other things and then forgot what I had asked for. At the window after having 3 different people ask me if I had paid already I received my order. As I drove away I realized it was incorrect. I won’t be going to this store for a few months until they can figure out how to manage the drive thru. The other store on Las Posas is way better.

What started out to be a great love for Starbucks coffee quickly turned into an easy addiction. I claim this as my only vice in life. So, that was easy, right? Of course!!! Where else can on go to get a FANTASTIC cup of hot or cold coffee, specialty drinks, beautiful teas and decadent desserts. Or how about those days where I’m out on the run, such as my streak of indulgences during my lunch hour with my venti frappes. Today’s delights/faves include their most recent Cold brew Coffee with breve and sugar free vanilla. But this particular Drive Thru Starbucks has already proved to be more special to me, all because of a request I made on the #MyStarbucksIdea website. See, what used to sit here on this property was a gas station — later demolished in its entirety. As time went by the lot became a desolate corner on what could have been a GREAT place for a Starbucks. Why you ask, when there already was an existing Starbucks currently located in this same shopping center? Because Camarillo needed a first ever Drive Thru Starbucks. My letter of conviction to Starbucks included my pleas of how nice it would be to have a first ever drive thru coffee house in Camarillo, and how perfect it would be given the demographics in this community. Fast forward about a year, it was to my PUREDELIGHT to hear that the Starbucks I had LONG hoped for was making its way into the very same place I had asked for! I am SO excited for this Drive Thru Starbucks coming into our community and I will always hold this location close to my heart. The already FANTASTIC team of Baristas will SURELY bring smiles to your day just as their fantastic menu items always has. Thank you, Starbucks for listening to us! YOUROCK! FIVESTARSALLTHEWAY!

There’s a Starbucks drive-thru brewing and it’s perking — up a lot of interest to passers-by! Heck a banner was up one day and gone the next?! However the permanent signage is up now. It’s still under construction– a «hard hat» zone-, but it’s going to be a popular hot spot that’ll sure to perk-up the interests of fellow coffee drinkers. Perhaps we’ll be enjoying some yummy java from this new location before… gasp…the quickly approaching holidays. Not to mention enjoying the warm goodness for ones daily grind and for many days & holidays there after! A parking spot for the environmental friendly vehicles already been marked too. Welcome to the neighborhood! As I say, ‘Yelpers are Helpers!’
