Not impressed with management. Overall the store is perfect for any woman who loves shopping. But in my opinion, staff and management need to be friendly. Will not go there with my wife again. Horrible customer service.

This store is a home decorators dream come true, let me clarify if you love all things shabby chic, french country, or beach themed stop in today. From Chandeliers to bric-à-brac for home or garden, your eyes will be scanning the shelves to see that you don’t miss a single thing. Each section is rented by vendors, the items are new, and what I like about this store is nothing is the same, each vendor has their own unique flair and it shows in what is being sold. If you like all this signs from anything to inspiration to downright funny, then they have a section for that, if you love all things Wine, they have an area for that, Wedding theme? check, baby theme? Check, small table top water fountains, check. An awesome store to pick up seasonal décor, or in need of purchasing a present for a friend or family member, you can’t fail, they have so much you will end up having to come back several times to make sure you haven’t missed anything and the prices are reasonable, comparable to Hobby Lobby. The clerks are helpful if you ask, they let you browse the store with little to no contact unless need be. I saw a wedding veil in one section and since I’ve never tried one on, I just couldn’t help myself, donning it and calling my friend Sandy over to see me… ha, makes me think back to when I was a kid and would put one of my grandmothers tablecloths on my head and pretend to be a bride… this was much more fun, though my friends have often thought I would be a runaway bride if the time comes… I don’t know that veil felt pretty good. ;-P So stop in today, the store is in-between Big Lots and Trader Joes in Camarillo.

This place is great. Very good finds and the management/workers are soooo sweet. Best service I’ve ever had at a retail store. Especially Mary Ann. Thank you to the Guild for an awesome experience and very cute décor.

I LOVE The Guild. I buy jewelry there at a great price and people always comment on it. And it doesn’t turn my fingers green. They have beautiful items, at reasonable prices. My grandson always says, «Grandma, you know better than to go in there when you don’t have any money because you Always buy something.» One of my favorite stores.

Was not too impressed. Lots of over priced home décor items, and I found one thing I could use. Took it to the cash register, and was told I had to pay cash for it. I asked if there was a sign anywhere that indicated there was a minimum for credit card purchases, and the two women at the register said no. This was a business item for me, so I prefer to use my business card, and fortunately I had cash, because I don’t usually carry much with me. I would not have gone back if I’d had to leave the item there.

This place has a variety of cute décor for the home at a reasonable price, yet the service left much to be desired. When I was ready to check– out, I stood at the cash register for a while before one of the three sales associates behind the counter acknowledge me. Even then, I wasn’t greeted with a «hello.» There is also a large, vary visible security monitor at the front register that implies that they want every customer to know that they are watching you while you shop. In my opinion, it’s tacky and and left me feeling a little uncomfortable. A word of advice to the sales associates, the best way to prevent theft is to greet every customer who walks in your door and ask if they need assistance. Your customers will also feel like they are getting great service and that you genuinely appreciate their business.

I’m really torn writing this review. I’ve been to the guild and purchased items plenty of times from here. Really unique and vintage pieces can be found which I love. However, when I went there this morning the sales lady was so rude it made me want to never step foot in here again. My friend and I were looking for cake platters and the lady comes up and greets us. We tell her what were looking for and she looked down at my friends tiny bag from Michael’s. She then says can I hold this behind the counter? Didn’t even wait for a response before grabbing it out of her hand. How dare she insinuate we were stealing, I cannot believe she did that. We weren’t dressed poorly, we both had on designer items and handbags and most importantly we both had money to spend there… But we decided to leave after that happened.

This place is freakin amazing! Alot of their furniture is truly antique. Tons of vintage supplies to get your hands on. I can go crazy in this store! They have everything from furniture down to coasters. It’s something you need to see for yourself!

What a gem! I Looooove this place! Who would have thought that in a strip mall you’d find this! They gave everything décor. Lots of wrought iron Tuscan accessories, crowns galore, unique jewelry, shabby chic furnishings, candles, frames, lamps, and mirrors. Truly a one-stop shop! AND, totally reasonably priced!!! Yay!

I wish there were more stores like this. Their inventory is really unique and finely crafted. They have jewelry, home décor(for outdoors or indoors… pretty much every room of the house), furniture, gift items of all kinds, silk plants… you name it, they have it. They are definitely pricey, but that’s never stopped me from buying… and buying a lot at that. I just can’t help myself… everything is too cute or pretty. They have a lot of stuff jam packed into every corner, crevice and cubby, and I, of course, have to look at it ALL. If my husband is with me, this annoys him. I just ignore him and keep going. Afterall, I might miss something if I hurry it along or don’t look at everything, right??? I also like that they’re in the same shopping center as a Trader Joe’s and a Michael’s. A little bit of everything that I like.

The Guild is a great location for unusual gift items, home décor, beautiful jewelry and collectibles. It features a large section of the store dedicated to individual vendors and artists, reminiscent of a street fair – only with the comfort and convenience of a retail store. Many of the participating vendors in «The Guild» specialize in handcrafted gemstone and wire-wrapped jewelry, as well as fun fashion jewelry, and fantasy-themed items. There is great jewelry, fun and unusual home décor items, and some of the best gift shopping anywhere! The owners, Sam & Marianne are great to deal with too. Prices range from $ 3.95 to $ 150. And if you are looking for that great conversation piece or unique dresser, the furniture alone at the Guild is to die for – and priced very reasonably!
