Taryn did an amazing job on our property. She took a small condo patio from a concrete slab, complete with dirt patches and weeds and transformed it into an intimate, low maintenance garden that quickly became the talk of the neighborhood because of its beauty and design.

We worked with Taryn to install drip irrigation and drought tolerant landscaping at our home in Ventura. She drew up a color plan based on our responses to her questionnaire and then developed a budget and time line for the project. Upon approval, she then selected and ordered the plants, recommended subcontractors and supervised every aspect of the actual work. Throughout it all Taryn was thorough, knowledgeable, responsive and very professional. In addition to being a creative person with great taste, Taryn is practical and flexible in achieving the design objectives within the budget. Taryn designed our backyard in 2008 and helped us create an oasis of green amidst our desert climate. She skillfully chose plants that would be attractive year round. Even after planting nearly 100 new plants, our water bill changed very little due to Taryn’s wise choice in drought tolerant plants. She also gave a rather square landscape much needed shape and texture by reshaping the lawn and flower beds and adding bark pathways and stone patios.
She was professional and detail oriented in all her work. She listened to our needs and met those needs while being realistic to the environmental restraints of living in the desert. We would recommend her design work 100%! She also gave us a wonderful digital portfolio of our plants with all the information we needed to continue the care of our new landscape.
